Start your day with an easy but impressive hike up to the top of Ounasvaara hill. Here you will be rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view of the spectacular wild Lappish nature. If the snow is deep enough you will have the chance to do the hike on snowshoes.

After the hike, you will visit the Ranua Zoo. Walk around and meet the most famous arctic animals like the moose, the forest reindeer, polar bears and arctic foxes. Enjoy a delicious Finnish lunch buffet to regain some energy. After lunch, you can continue exploring the park, as there are many exotic animals to discover.
