Sail out from Reykjavík in search of the beautiful Aurora Borealis! It only takes you 10-15 minutes to sail into the dark, away from the light pollution from the city, to a perfect location for viewing the magical northern lights and starry sky.

An expert guide will explain the scientific facts about this natural phenomenon, and answer any questions you might have during the tour. It is never guaranteed that the lights will show, however, if you don't see them you get a complimentary ticket to try again. In addition, this tour offers you a replacement activity in case the tour has to be postponed.

Head out to the Whales of Iceland Exhibition in Grandi, just minutes away from the harbor area. Your guide will take you into the wonderful world of the giant whales, where you will be able to view full-sized models and try out some fun and interactive technologies.

Towards the end of the exhibition, you will then be taken into a movie hall where you’ll see a 25-minute video of the dancing northern lights, full of beautiful imagery, facts and stories. Finish the night with a drink on the house at the on-site café, where you’ll also get the opportunity to explore the exhibition further.
