There's a sobering feel to this half-day excursion, which starts with a 45-minute transfer to the Mauthausen concentration camp and memorial. On arrival, you'll be taken on a 90-minute guided tour of the camp by specially trained guides. The route's been specifically chosen to follow the same one that prisoners would've been subjected to, which gives the tour a distinctive slant. After the tour, there are around 30 minutes of free time before the return transfer to Linz.
