What to expect
On this tour you will discover Lebam river and all of its beauties, from a unique kayaking perspective.
First you get picked up from your hotel lobby within Desaru Coast and then take a pleasant 15-minutes' drive to the nearby Lebam River. You will embark on a local boat that will take you and the kayaks further upstream of the Lebam River.
After you reach the upper reaches of the Lebam River, the kayaking adventure begins. You will quietly paddle along what is now a forest dominated by Mangrove Forest plants. There you will be on the lookout for wild ducks, herons, kingfishers, and if you are lucky, otters too. The water is clear enough for you to enjoy viewing some of the tropical fish that call Lebam River, home too.
After about 2 hours of paddling, you will reach the safety boat and take the return journey to Lebam Jetty. You'll also make a quick stop at Desaru Fruit Farm Shop, before making the drive back to the hotel.
