What to expect
Join a kayak and snorkel tour through the mangroves around Lac Cai beach. With glass-bottom kayaks, you can experience the beauty of this incredible area in a unique way!Start at Lac Cai beach and follow your guide as you paddle to the mangrove. Admire the breathtaking sceneries around you and look down through the glass bottom of your kayak. Paddle through the mangrove tunnels and spot various types of birds. While snorkeling one of the mangrove tunnels, you will be amazed by the different varieties of fish, coral and sponges. The mangroves are a very important part of Bonaire and are internationally protected by the RAMSAR Treaty. It is considered as a nursery for many species of wildlife. Back on Lac Cai beach, you can enjoy a bit of fruit punch with a snack and your guide will show you a place to spot turtles. You can snorkel here on your own, if you wish.

The Guide was fantastic, he talked about mangroves with passion and told lots of interesting facts. Mangroves is very unique experience and really worth exploring.

My wife and I enjoyed the kayaking through the mangroves and learning about them. The guide was super friendly and we enjoyed everything. Lac Cai in the Lac Bay area of Bonaire is so pretty and we got to see some flamingos on the drive.

Hobbelige weg zorgt voor avontuur ??. Maar de tocht en de reisleiding was het geld dubbel en dwars waard. Zoveel enthousiasme maakt het nog leuker en mooier dan het mangrovebos al is! Aanrader

Een ervaring op zich, prachtig. Persoonlijk zou ik de gasten ophalen in een iets comfortabelere bus (auto) en dan het laatste gedeelte over de zandwegen in een jeep (truck) Het kajakken mag wel wat langer!

Wij hebben een ontzettend goede ervaring gehad met deze kajak tour door de prachtige mangrove. De tour is goed te doen, en we kregen voldoende uitrust momenten. Onze gids Eddy was een super kundige en grappige man. Hij wist ons van alles te vertellen en heeft ons veel laten zien. Eddy, je hebt echt onze dag gemaakt! Je bent een hele toffe man en we hopen dat je nog veel meer mensen zo’n leuke dag gaat bezorgen als hoe wij het hebben ervaren. Dankjewel!

Gids was erg enthousiast. Weet veel over het eiland en deed het leuk! Omgeving is prachtig. Ook lekker om even wat actiefs te doen tijdens de vakantie. Veel mooie vissen gezien tijdens de snorkelstop. Al met al fantastisch, echt een aanrader!

Een geweldige kayak- en snorkeltour gedaan door de mangrove van bonaire onder leiding van Niek! Hij weet veel en is heel relaxed. Een belevenis om door de mangrove te kayakken en onder water te kunnen kijken!
Hij was ook volgens afspraak precies op tijd om ons op te halen!

De Wc's bij de opstaplocatie waren echt goor. De hapjes waren goed bedoeld maar knullig. De gids John maakte veel goed. Je kon ca. 3 jaar geleden vast goed door de bodems kijken. Nu niet meer. Dus glasbodem is echt overdreven. Maar tocht was verder erg mooi

Heerlijk kayaken door de mangrove. Goed te doen met kinderen (tieners). Wel een pittig stukje met wind tegen. Prachtig gesnorkeld in een mangrove tunnel. Wat een ervaring!

De activiteit was prima verzorgd, met koffie/thee en koek vooraf en drankjes en koek achteraf. Het kayakken door het mangrovebos was een bijzondere ervaring en zo ook het snorkelen. Onze gids was zeer prettig, met een goede mix van informatie en humor Al met al veel waar voor je geld De glazen bodem had voor ons geen grote meerwaarde maar dat mocht de pret zeker niet drukken,we hebben genoten!

Uitgebreid uitleg over de mangrove, flora fauna en stukje historie is zeker meerwaarde in de trip. Ook het snorkelen is verrassend! Vergeet je onderwatercamera niet!
