Heel bijzonder om eerst door het helderblauwe water te kajakken en daarna door naar de Mangrove. Onze gids Yoeri was enthousiast en wist veel te vertellen. Ook het stuk snorkelen bij de Mangrove was bijzonder om te doen!

Genoten van deze tocht. De gids wist veel over de natuur de mangrove en Bonaire te vertellen. Oog voor detail. Een flamingo gespot die niet in de mangrove thuis hoort. De gids heeft direct actie ondernomen om deze te redden. Safety first ook voor de nature ?? Hierna de tocht kunnen vervolgen. Geslaagde middag.

Joeri is een leuke tourgids, gezellig en met humor! Ook weet hij veel te vertellen over de mangroves waardoor je toch veel leert tijdens zo'n tour. Enige puntje zou dan zijn dat er wat meer verteld zou mogen worden over de kraamkamer waar we doorheen snorkelen. We hadden nog een extraatje met het vangen van een flamingo die uit het reservaat was ontsnapt en die terug gebracht.

Helaas hadden wij een aantal tegenvallers. Onze kayak liep tijdens onze tocht vol met water. Oorzaak: de kayak was vooraf niet geleegd. Verder werd ik helemaal lek geprikt door muggen. Er werd gezegd dat dat kwam omdat ik een donker shirt aanhad, was beter geweest als dit vooraf bij boeking was gemeld! Tot slot is de telefoon van m’n zoon kapot gegaan omdat de kayaktas niet goed waterdicht was. Al met al geen feest!

Prachtige kajak tour door de mangrove. Op sommige punten uit de kajak om te snorkelen. De gids wist ontzettend veel over de natuur te vertellen. Op de terugweg op het meer veel grote schildpadden gespot. Wat een prachtige middag hebben wij gehad. We komen zeker terug. Eén tip; de weg er naar toe is een uitdaging als je geen 4x4 hebt. De weg kan deels onder water staan.

Het snorkelen stelt niet veel voor. Daar moet je de kajaktour niet voor doen. Het water is zeer troebel. De omgeving is wel mooi.

Het was geweldig, super mooie omgeving. Wel goed insmeren er is niet veel schaduw. Snorkelen was iets minder onder water zag je niet heel veel.
