What to expect

Jodensavanna is just about an hour away from Paramaribo on the right bank of the Suriname River. This is a short time to travel for an otherworldly experience of a former Jewish settlement. You'll visit the ruins of the oldest Jewish synagogue on the American continent that are still visible, as well as the cemetery. Passing by several indigenous villages and crossing the river at the town of Carolina, you'll marvel. Plus, at the Overbridge Resort, lunch is served on the nature spot in which you can relax or swim -all in one day.

After pick up, you'll go to the historical site is named after the Jews who fled the Inquisition in Europe around 1650 and settled in this savannah area.
