What to expect
Discover Khao Phing Kan, and Phang Nga Bay that became famous as location of Roger Moore's 007 movie “The Man With the Golden Gun". You will also have the chance to experience a kayak tour along the mangrove river, admiring the giant stalactites caves and limestone cliffs of Thalu Island.
The day will start with a pickup from your hotel in Krabi, that will take you near Phang Nga Town, where you will embark on a longtail boat heading to Phang Nga Bay, that became famous with its starring role in "The Man With the Golden Gun" movie. You will admire Khao Phing Kan, a very high leaning rock with tiny caves, and walk around the James Bond Island, taking pictures of Koh Tapu (also known as Nail Island or Spike Island), a limestone rock that rises for about 20 meters from the water. You will then continue to Thalu Island, where you will be offered a guided kayak tour along the mangrove river, the giant stalactites caves, and the limestone cliffs.
Before going back to your accommodation, you will stop for lunch at the floating village of Panyee. The village is build on a network of stilts anchored to a towering vertical mass of limestone.
