What to expect
Spend the day in the mountains and explore the Small Fatra region on this tour from Bratislava! Enjoy the panorama from the funicular and discover the local culture of Slovakia.
Your adventure will start with a train ride, the guide will be waiting for you at Zilina train station. From there you will go for an exploration of Vratna Valley to learn more about the history and the customs of the Small Fatra region. You will then take the funicular up to Snilovske Peak and savor the breathtaking panorama. After that you will visit Terchova, the Slovakian village well-known for its folk music, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage. In the village, you will enjoy a two-course lunch at a local restaurant.
The final step of the tour will be Zilina. You will discover the Old Town with the Church of Holy Trinity, the Burian Tower and the Marianske Square. You will then marvel at the Rosenfeld Palace (a copy of Belvedere Palace in Vienna) and the oldest building in the city - the 11th-century church of St. Stephan. In the end, the guide will accompany you to the train station. After the return to Bratislava, you will be transferred to your accommodation.
