What to expect

Portogruaro is a town suspended between Middle Ages and Renaissance, called the 'Little Venice' by the famous writer Ippolito Nievo, built on the banks of the Lemene river, a calm and picturesque river, offering enchanting views. Accompanied by a local expert guide, you will discover the magnificent buildings still maintaining their Venetian style and the numerous canals and bridges making the town look like a little Venice in the hinterland.

After an immersion in the green of the beautiful town park, you will see the Villa Comunale, and then the next stop of the tour will be at the unmissable ancient mills of St. Andrea. You will discover then the third most leaning bell tower in Italy as well as the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea with its beautiful frescoes.

In the last part of the tour, you will breathe the atmosphere of the town, walking through the streets and the picturesque squares, and you will enjoy a relaxing and delicious typical Venetian aperitif.
