Start the trip with Long Phuoc Tunnels system in Ba Ria town. These tunnel clusters are interconnected by a spine route, with secret tunnels containing food and fighting fortifications. Your local guide will take you to the site of Long Tan Battlefield where you'll see the former first Australian Task Force at Nui Dat. You'll visit Long Tan Cross Memorial, established for the 17 Australian Infantrymen and 1 APC crewman killed in action during the Battle of Long Tan on August 18, 1966.

You'll then head to Nui Dat Hill, a former 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF Base) including Luscombe Airfield. This was home to the Australian military during the Vietnam War. You'll have lunch at a local restaurant before going back to Ho Chi Minh City.
