What to expect
Take your trip off-road and experience the breathtaking landscape of the Northeast of Madeira on a Convertible or Open Roof Top 4x4. This tour has a little bit of everything and is suitable for everyone! It's adventurous, interesting, full of surprises, and very scenic.
You'll admire Nuns Valley and stop at Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint. Next, reach Pico do Arieiro, the third-highest mountain in Madeira, with a magnificent view above the clouds. After exploring the area, continue towards the north of the island descending to the village of Ribeiro Frio.
After a short walk around the village, you will discover the Laurissilva Forest. The next stop is Santana, one of the most famous areas in Madeira where you can visit the traditional triangular Madeira houses and have lunch.
After lunch, head to Faial and stop at the Miradouro do Guindaste viewpoint, then proceed to the village of Porto da Cruz to visit a rum factory where you can sample some locally produced rums or the famous Poncha. Before coming back to Funchal, you'll pass by Ponta de S. Lourenço.
