In the morning, guided tour of the castle of Blois, former 13th century fortress. The castle of Blois is famous for its magnificent courtyard built around 4 buildings from 4 different eras: the 13th wing, the gothic 15th century wing built by king Louis XII, the 16th century Renaissance wing built by King Francis I, the, brother of king Louis XIII.

Enjoy a convivial tour and tasting at a family estate in Cheverny. The Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny wines, are King François the 1st 's favourite wines.

Then, take free time to have lunch at leisure in Cheverny. Your guide will recommend a nice restaurant.

The afternoon starts with a visit of the castle of Cheverny. Privately owned and built in the 17th century, the château de Cheverny is located in an estate that has been owned by the same family since the 13th century. It is famous for its collection of furniture and tapestries, making it the homiest castle in the Loire Valley.

Later in the afternoon, you will head to the castle of Chambord. Probably the most spectacular castle in the Loire Valley, with its 426 rooms, 282 fireplaces, 77 staircases, it was built in 1519 by king Francis I as a hunting lodge.
