What to expect
Enjoy a unique experience that will take you into the landscapes and stories of the Columbia River Gorge. Thanks to the small number of participants, you'll get personal attention and the safest experience with high-quality equipment!
After choosing your perfect bike and helmet, you'll enjoy a panoramic 30-minute drive into the Columbia River Gorge, east of Portland. Here you'll start a stunning overlook of the gorge, getting on your bike and riding along the Historic Columbia River Highway to other viewpoints and points of interest. About four miles (6.5km) of biking along gentle, curving scenic downhills will lead you to the fantastic waterfall loop hike (2.2 miles/3.5 km). After this, you'll ride for another two miles (3km) to another beautiful viewpoint of the Columbia Gorge. You'll admire some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the state!
You'll also hear interesting stories about the long history this place holds. Beyond the 180 years of pioneers and loggers, before the century-old highway, this was the land of indigenous people with a rich mythology, you'll hear their fascinating stories through your knowledgeable guide.
