We took my daughter, her husband and two boys ages 17 and 12 and we all had a great time. The jellies, sea horses, sea stars, and tropical fish were a big hit. And a new fave is the spiny lumpsucker, a funny name for a cute little critter. Docents were knowledgeable and helpful.

We truly loved the aquarium and the opportunity to learn about the sea but I was very saddened to see the octopus upstairs. It was obvious that he was unhappy and I was hoping he was a rescued octopus but asked Guest Services and he was not. Everyone else seemed happy and content but the octopus.

This was my first time there ..I was very disappointed not a lot of variety. I really wanted to see sea horses only 3 tanks all the same kind . Also the seal show should have shown off their skills not just talk about them was hoping to see tricks..To me it wasn't worth the price of admission

There are some unusual specimens here (flower hat jellies) and some unexpected ones (lorikeets), all of which we appreciated. We loved the moon jelly touch pool - so cool! Excellent film at the end about the future of our oceans and their role on the planet. Very clean facility - thank you!

My kids absolutely love the aquarium we go anytime we are in the area and they stay for hours! Never a dull moment, lots of touching, learning, exploring, and seeing. Truly a great spot not just for entertainment but also education. Also was super surprised by how tasty the food at the cafe was!

Lots to see! You can enjoy the whole place at a steady pace in under 3 hours. Alcoholic smoothies are $18 and have the smallest trace of alcohol that I can bet it’s not even half a shots worth. I wouldn’t complain if it didn’t cost me that much.

Brought a family a 5 visiting from Jamaica--they were spellbound! It wasn't crowded, so seeing the exhibits was easy. The docents are all very friendly, and especially one who was at the ray/sturgeon pool--she was excellent!!! My only complaint is that the Southern CA section was closed.

We enjoyed the aquarium very much. The exhibits are great and interactive which is good for the young child with us. It was quite crowded and at times loud and dark. they may want to consider looking at how to reduce the sensory overload.
