What to expect

Take an 8-day tour of the Imperial Cities Rabat, Meknes,Fes,Marrakech and the waterfalls Via the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. This tour includes also daily breakfasts and 2 dinners.

Be welcomed by your driver/guide at the airport of Mohamed 5 in Casablanca and take you to your hotel in Casablanca. Overnight in the hotel. If you are already in Casablanca you'll be picked up from your hotel and then start the tour. On your second day, depart for Fes. Enjoy the scenic views of vegetables and fruit farmlands along the way. Visit Volubilis, the site of the famous Roman ruins left from the Roman Empire's most southern outpost, and Meknes, the site of the first Arab dynasty. The, head to the Henri es-Souani, the horses' stable and granaries. Enjoy the view of the city from a rooftop garden and overnight in Fes.

On day three, visit "the oldest living Medina in the world” with its "souks" (markets), stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th-century Karouine mosque, and the University. Visit the tomb of the city founder "Moulay Idriss II". After lunch, continue your tour with the Najarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden and the Batha Museum. Overnight in Fes. Leave Fes for a Marrakech 3-day desert tour going to Merzouga, passing through Ifrane to arrive at the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. Lunch in a small Berber village of Zaida. Continue the way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Medilt to arrive at the small town of Rich, Erfoud in which you can feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Continue to Merzouga, where you'll ride the camels to spend the night in a desert camp.

Wake up early morning on your fifth day, to watch the sunrise in the dunes. Ride a camel for a couple of hours. The next destination is the fortified village of Rissani in the Tafilalt region. Travel through the impressive Todra Gorges and past the eastern slopes of the Atlas Mountains to Tinerhir Oasis, with its green valley of palms and local villages, before continuing on a scenic drive through the Dades Valley, also known as the ‘Valley of 1000 Kasbahs. Overnight in Dades valley. Depart to Ouarzazate via Skoura. Stop for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt then again near the atlas film studios. Visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant in the village. In the afternoon, drive to Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N'tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Drop off in Marrakech.

For your seventh day, enjoy a full-day tour of Marrakesh. Visit the Menara, a surrounded pool by flowerbeds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounded fields. Then discover different attractions such as the Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewelry. Enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe, dinner, and overnight at the hotel. Finally, be transferred back to the Airport if you have a flight or dropped off at your Hotel in Casablanca.
