Aventuras Mayas Jungle Park with Mexican Lunch
If you're all about action and adventure, a day of fun-filled thrills awaits at Aventuras Mayas jungle park. Get behind the controls of your ATV to navigate your way through the jungle by ATV, and feel the thrill of flying through the treetops by zipline. And when it's time for a break, there's a Mexican buffet with a selection of traditional dishes on offer. Juanito, one of our local guides, says, "In some of the lines, you glide just above the jungle canopy. In others, you can go upside down, while another has the ‘Superman' option. There's even a ‘flying hammock' for you to try out. It's truly exhilarating."Arrive at the park and after a quick safety briefing from the instructors, we'll crank up the excitement. The order of the activities will be decided on the day to make sure crowds are spread out, and you can enjoy your experiences to the maximum. You'll swoop through the treetops on a seven-line zipline course, where you can soak up panoramic views of the park from above – and you can choose from four different flying modes. Then head back up top to take a break with a buffet lunch of local favourites – the Yucatan's signature pulled pork cochininita pibil is usually on the menu – washed down with water and coffee. After fuelling up for the fun to come, it's time to tear across the mud and zoom through the jungle driving your own powerful ATV vehicle. It's non-stop laughs from start to finish along the rip-roaring 11km route.

Bali’s Uluwatu Temple Tour with Sunset Kecak Dance Show
Bali is bursting with religious monuments and sacred shrines. On this private tour, you'll visit one of the most photogenic of them all – Uluwatu Temple. Visit this clifftop spot at sunset and watch a traditional Balinese dance performance. Gede, one of our local guides, says, ‘The magic of this place is all in the name. In old Balinese, Ulu means “land's end” and Watu means “rock”. Legend says that the many long-tailed macaque monkeys living in Uluwatu were once brave soldiers who protected the Hindu high priest who built the temple. They're still here, protecting his shrine.'Uluwatu Temple is among Bali's six most important shrines, thought to have been built in the 11th century by a monk called Mpu Kunturan. He chose his spot well – the setting is nothing short of spectacular. High on a rocky bluff surrounded on three sides by the Indian Ocean, the sacred temple is one of the best places in Bali to see the sun go down. Your guide will point out all the best vantage points around this important Hindu shrine. Snaps of the three-tiered meru tower silhouetted against the sunset are pure wow-factor.Then, as the sun sinks towards the horizon, you're treated to a kecak dance show. It's a mix of powerful chanting, intricate costumes and complex moves that recounts a tale from the Ramayana, an ancient Sanskrit text. The monkeys are all part of the story – look out for Hanuman, the white monkey warrior.

Barcelona City Tour
Barcelona continually tops Europe's city break charts – it's a buzzing metropolis with enough wow-factor sights to bowl any visitor over. Discover Poble Espanyol, Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas, Plaça Espanya and Montjuïc hill. Martina, one of our expert local guides, says ‘Originally built for an exhibition almost 100 years ago, Poble Espanyol is a ‘village' which is home to 117 replicas of some of Spain's most celebrated architectural gems. The onsite fine art museum has works by Picasso, Dalí and Miro on display, and lots of local artisans make and sell their handicrafts here.'After a look around Poble Espanyol, the next stop offers the chance to see the striking exterior of the Sagrada Familia, a church resembling a wave-worn sandcastle – the most famous legacy of legendary local architect Antoni Gaudi. Martina adds, ‘Construction began on the Sagrada Familia way back in 1882. The current estimated completion date is 2026 – meaning that the building will be completed 100 years after Gaudí died. I think he would be proud to see how well his ideas have been realised.'You'll then have plenty of free time to explore Barcelona under your own steam. Maybe take a stroll along the pedestrianised Las Ramblas and visit La Boqueria indoor market where you could opt to try some of the tasty treats on offer.
