De gids was heel enthousiast en kundig. Helaas was de geluidsinstallatie in het busje erg slecht, waardoor ze haast niet te verstaan was. Ook gaf ze, in haar enthousiasme, te veel informatie. De wijnproeverij was aardig, maar er op gericht te verkopen. De cosmeticafabriek was geen fabriek, aar een hele leuke winkel waar heel veel producten van olijfolie, honing, aardewerk en crèmes op honingbasis te koop waren. Ook op verkoop gericht dus. Het was wel een leuke tocht over het hele eiland.

De reisleiding vertelde het heel leuk. De wijnproeverij, boottocht en het winkeltje met olijfolie souverniers heel leuk en goed uitgelegd hoe alles gaat en ook heerlijk (en veel) gegeten ??

We had a fantastic guide, and the cake was delicious! The wine tasting was, of course, also a highlight. Our favorite part was swimming from the boat and seeing the Blue Caves. We appreciated that we didn’t stay too long in one place and got to see a variety of beautiful spots around Zante. A well-balanced and memorable tour!

De tour in het algemeen was zeker leuk, alleen kregen we pas rond 16.00 uur lunch, waardoor we allemaal redelijk trek hadden (vertrokken om 11.00 uur vanaf het hotel). Ook was de service in het restaurant niet goed (2 uur wachten op het eten), plus was er niks gedaan met doorgegeven allergieën. We verwachtten ook meer tradioneel eten, wat zeker niet het geval was. De overige elementen van de tour waren erg leuk en leerzaam. Dus alleen het einde van de tour was een domper op de dag.

Super kiva ja mielenkiintoinen aikuisten reissu. Päivän aikana näkee ja kuulee kattavasti saaren parhaat palat. Meze liinan oli todella maittava ja ruokaa oli paljon. Retken opas oli asiansa tunteva ja kivalla huumorilla varustettu henkilö.

Wij kregen deze tour van Laura, een leuke dame wie ons vele ins and outs over het leven op het eiland kon vertellen! We wine tasting was wat chaotisch en minder uitgebreid dan de titel doet vermoeden maar desondanks heerlijk! Helaas door de hevige wind niet naar de Blue caves kunnen varen dus uitgeweken naar een mooi dorpje met klooster waar ook veel over te vertellen viel. Het diner was zeer uitgebreid en heerlijk! Al met al een top tour waarmee je heel het eiland rond gaat en veel ziet!

A whole day on and off the coach - if you don’t travel well I wouldn’t recommend as lots of windy roads going up to north of Island. Some pretty stops but disappointing we didn’t get to do the main highlight of the blue caves as sea was a bit choppy. Was not told when booking it was 50/50 chance and no offer of partial refund for not being able to do it. Be prepared and take snacks as didn’t get to the Taverna to eat until after 4pm so it was a long day. Expensive trip for what it was.

Laura , our tour guide was amazing.kept up an entertaining and informative presentation throughout the tour.. well organised throughout and she paid special attention to my difficulty in walking and found chairs for me to sit on and easier places to walk.. food at the restaurant was delicious.. best cheese pie I have ever tasted!

The guide Laura was amazing. She was friendly, humorous and very knowledgeable. It was a shame that the weather didn’t allow for the blue caves boat trip but safety has to come first. We were taken instead to the monastery and olive oil factory which was interesting. The wine tasting was great fun . We were able to sample 18 different wines. To end the day the food at the restaurant we were taken to was incredible. Beautifully cooked and so much of it we could hardly move afterwards.

Small group trip, Tui guide was brilliant very knowledgeable and engaging. Wine trip and tasting very interesting, plenty to sample and well presented. Olive oil product workshop very interesting. Blue caves boat trip excellent. Final family run Taverna meal, brilliant, what a place, very tasty food and so much of it, loved it all and value for money.

Very friendly tour guide Laura, made us feel comfortable, was very informative about Zakinthos and Greek culture. Big shout out to two pudding star our driver, felt very safe with him behind the wheel. Very good value for money and certainly added lots of memories to our 1st stay in Zante. Never been disappointed with a TUI trip yet ?? would highly recommend p.s the Greeks are massive feeders ????

Duidelijker aangeven dat je vooral heel veel in de bus zit wij en meerdere in de bus vonden dat hij vooral verkocht wordt als boottocht en dat was helaas maar 35 min.jammer !!!!!Worden verkeerde verwachtingen geschept desalniettemin een leuke dag gehad met super gids en leuk gemengd gezelschap .

We went on this tour as it stated that it went to the windmills near skinari. Whilst on the tour itself we discovered that it only visited them on certain days and not Saturdays. At no point did we see anywhere where this was stated in the information and if it hadn't been because of other circumstances we would have missed out entirely. Days for varying the tour as stated need to be highlighted on purchase! Not good enough.

This turned out to be one if not the best excursion we have booked in all the years we have Holidayed with Tui. Full day 11.00 - 20.00 with our excellent and very professional tour guide who shared so much valuable and interesting information about the history of Zakinthos and Greek culture. In addition we cannot commend our driver enough for his Skilful driving throughout the day. Highly recommend excursion.

We were picked up upon time comfortable couch our guitar guide was fantastic full of great information. The boat trip was fabulous the wine tasting great. Our guide Silvvia was just brilliant. Her knowledge of the island and all of the features we stopped at were Outstanding. I can honestly say that was one of the best excursions I have ever been on. I trip was undoubtedly made very special by Silvvia. All of the contacts at the wine tasting, the captain of the boat trip, the lady at the soap/cosmetic business, the new restraint and of course the driver of the bus. We're very friendly and accomadating. The meal was an absolute delight. Well done.

Kleine overzichtelijke groep, waardoor programma goed en compact gevolgd kon worden. Minpuntje: buiten een stukje appeltaart kregen we pas om 17.30 uur eten (weliswaar een hele goede Griekse maaltijd). Dat was voor ons eigenlijk te laat. Voor overige een top excursie!

Amazing trip. Kay the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Lovely bus driver and boat captain. All parts of the trip were excellent. The. Minibus was air-conditioned and only 6 of us on the trip so lots of room and comfortable. The blue caves and boat trip and swim was amazing. The food was plentiful and of very high quality. Got some great stuff from the olive oil and soap place Learned a lot about the island from Kay. We did this trip last year and enjoyed it so much we booked it again

Caves we're amazing on boat trip.We did think people should be informed of life jackets incase something went wrong on boat. This is my only criticism. Stairs when going back up to bus might be bit much for people with mobility problems,

De volgorde van de reis klopt niet. Beginnen met een wijnproeverij daarna met de boot naar de grotten dat was goed. Daarna een lange rit over het noordelijke gedeelte van het eiland. De chauffeur was zeer goed en de begeleiding was zeer informatief. Daarna gingen we naar een zeep en olijfolie winkeltje en de oudste boom te bekijken. We eindigen om 16:00 met een lunch dat was te laat en te kort op het avond eten. Prima tour maar de volgorde weet ik niet zeker.

Our guide Kay, was fantastic. She immediately put us at ease and was very welcoming. Her chat on the bus was extremely interesting and informative and just a perfect amount of information. The wine factory was really interesting and being able to choose which wines you wanted to try was a nice, laid back alternative style of a wine tour. The staff&food at the restaurant was perfection, like being in a movie!! Thank you for an amazing day.

We had to queue for ages and the wine was very poor . Was not even offered red wine. Had to ask for it twice . But that was not Tui’s fault .

Tijdens deze excursie zie je veel van het eiland. Erg de moeite waard. Interessant om de geschiedenis van de wijn te horen en te ontdekken wat er allemaal van olijfolie gemaakt kan worden. We hadden geluk, het waaide hard dus het was spannend of we op de boot konden, maar uiteindelijk ging dat door en konden we zelfs nog even zwemmen. Het restaurant waar we mezze gingen eten had een fantastisch uitzicht en het eten was ook echt heel lekker. Wel veel tijd in een minibus met beperkt beenruimte.

De meeste tijd zaten we in de bus. Het eiland is simpelweg te groot om deze activiteiten op een leuke manier te doen. Uitgerekend: een half uur wijnproeven, half uur olijfolie, 1 uur bootje varen en 1 uur eten.. 3 uur activiteit en 4,5 uur bus.

Carol our tour guide was excellent! Her wealth of knowledge about the island is second to none ! The bus driver Dimitri was brilliant , nothing was too much trouble. Felt safe at all times. The boat driver had fantastic control and it was a great experience. Loved the winery and learnt a lot. Felt relaxed and not rushed. The meal at the end was in a beautiful setting but the food for someone who doesn’t love cheese wasn’t great as there was not an alternative.

Die TUI App ist eine Katastrophe. Die Business Class bei Condor ist das Geld nicht wert. Man reist Economi nur dass der mittlere Sitz frei bleibt und man Essen und Trinken bekommt

The wine tasting was a little unusual as you just picked the wine you like and tried it, but worked well. hopping on and off the bus was good, getting a taste of the local culture. the blue caves were amazing, and the lighthouse restaurant is stunning. I think the meal could be improved a little, as only water and ouzo was included on it, maybe a soft drink would be a nice option, especially in the heat.

The variety of the different things we experienced on this tour was amazing from wine tasting to a boat trip to the caves together with a fantastic Mesa meal in a beautifully located taverna. What made it even more special was our guide, Kay. She was so knowledgeable and shared with us many facts about the island that you not have found out by yourself. She punctuated the travelling around the island with snippets of information on a regular basis m. Would thoroughly recommend the tour.

Wine tasting was good, blue caves let down and the meal was awful, not as described by rep for tour. Thought we were getting authentic Greek meze, ended up with Greek salad, cheese, bread and aubergine in tomato sauce.

Leuke tour en de wijnproeverij was lekker. Zeep fabriek was ook heel leuk. Daar was de proeverij echt de moeite waard en de oude olijfboom mooi om te zien. De boottocht super mooi. Mochten ook zwemmen van de kapitein die wij hadden. Het eten op het laatst was erg lekker en veel maar daar was de wijn echt verschrikkelijk vies!!!! Mocht de pret niet drukken met de leuke gids Laura.

Positives: getting a tour guide who was living on the island (we had Laura), she was able to share a lot of information about the daily life on Zante, giving a unique insight on the life on the island. The boat tour to the blue caves was amazing, getting so close to the caves was spectacular. The wine tasting was very professional, maybe a bit short for the amount of wine to taste. Negatives: the stop at the soap factory felt too much of a "selling party".

The whole day was great, from the wine tasting, blue caves with a swim. Then on to see the oldest olive tree and Petias organic farm shop. The dinner at the end of the day was excellent from Damianos Cave. The whole day was brought together wonderfully by Sylwia. She was really knowledgeable and good fun for the whole group. 5*

Sehr gut geplant mit verschiedenen Stops und zwischendurch gab es viele interessante Informationen von Kay auf der Fahrt. Highlight waren die Blue Caves: wir hatten ein kleines Boot, was sich als großer Vorteil erwiesen hat, weil wir weit in die z.T. sehr niedrigen Höhlen hineinfahren konnten. Und dann der Stop bei Peggy (Petia’s) - wir haben dort alle unsere Urlaubssouvenirs gekauft (handgemachte Olivenöl-Seife, Honig, Olivenöl u.v.m. gab es dort) und es hat riesig Spaß gemacht.

Driver and guide brilliant, helpful, interesting. Very Safe driver. Did all they could to help people. Weakest part of tour was vineyard, perhaps see more of the outside, ie vineyard. The meze wasn't geared up for vegetarians. Perhaps beer and soft drinks could be included in the meze price for those that dont drink wine or don't drink at all.

The trio tries to create attractions where none exist. This was made worse as the boat trip to the Blue Caves was cancelled. This was the main attraction of the trip. The guide took us to a redundant ‘monastery’ for a ten minute walkabout as an alternative. There was no information & we were trespassers at the site. we ended up at a cafe an hour ahead of schedule - the staff were not even at the cafe & we were an inconvenience when they arrived. A complete rip off.

The wine tasting was great, even bought some! Sadly the weather prevented the Blue Caves boat trrip going ahead. Instead we were taken to a small delerect monastery which we walked the grounds for 15-20 minutes. This was not really a suitable contingency plan There needs to be better alternatives for the main event being cancelled. On the plus side our guide was very knowledgeable and a great character.

Great value for money - the wine tasting was an interesting and fruitful experience and the time spent there was just about right. On to the Windmill Cafe where we were met with a friendly greeting along with coffee/tea and cake - amazing views here. Next the blue caves - well organised and well worth the visit and a chance for a swim in one of the coves. The soap factory and the restaurant visits rounded off a wonderful experience. Sadly the coach broke down but we were soon on our way again.

Everything was good apart from when we stopped for a meal the drink choice was water & Ouzo, I noticed that hardly anyone had the Ouzo (including my wife & I) wine or beer would have been preferable, apart from that it was a great trip. The rep was funny & informative 10/10.

What an amazing trip! Our guide Kay was funny, knowledgeable & friendly. The winery tour & tasting (with fresh homemade bread) was so generous & delicious. The drive between stops was idyllic, we had the most stunning views where we stopped to have coffee & apple cake, but the highlight was a boat trip with a glass bottom to the caves where we jumped off for a swim. But that wasn’t all! More tastings of olive oil & booze, then the most scrumptious feast. A really special part of our holiday.

The whole tour was excellent from start to finish each stop the locals were very informative and Laura our guide was also. She contently asked if we were all OK and not to worry if you had any concerns she would help to fix them. It was lovely to be part of a small group as it gave us a chance to get to know each other. The only fault was the air-conditioning on the bus wasn't working but our bus driver opened the top box which really help cool us down. All in all a fantastic trip.

We had a wonderful day in this trip! Tour guide Sylvia and driving Michael really looked after us and shared a huge amount of knowledge about what it’s like to love on the island. The wine tasting was very interesting and fun and the coffee and cake that followed was delicious. The blue cave boat trip was stunning and it was great to visit a local business on the non-tourist side of the island. I came away with lots of lovely natural products! The Greek meal at the end was also delicious!

Enjoyed all aspects but I do feel that prior to booking it should have been made clear that in order to do the Boat Trip, which was a major part of the experience, people should have been made aware of the long flight of steep steps and slopes to access the boat. A number of people on our trip had difficulty with this.

We did this tour, and honestly it’s one of the best ones we’ve done. Our guide Kay was fab, our driver Dimitri was very nice too. The wine tasting is a great start, a lovely family run winery. Then onto coffee and cake with a view. The blue caves were fab, not sure about the 270 steps we had to go down though ?? then onto a soap and olive oil place(bug spray advised!) then onto an amazing taverna, the food and wine were fantastic. Well worth the money, highly recommend this experience.

The guide and service were excellent, I loved that the tour was limited to a max of 16 which was what persuaded me to book in the first place. My only negative is that the boat trip could have been longer - it felt very brief and we would have like longer swimming and exploring the coastline.

We enjoyed everything . The wine tasting was very informative. The blue caves were an experience the skill of the boat captain was amazing how he got that boat into the caves I will never know. The lunch was delicious traditional Greek food and only a few people on the trip which made it more personal. The tour Guide was great and had a very good local knowledge which she imparted with great enthusiasm and humour.

En daarvoor in de plaats zouden we een alternatief krijgen maar dat hebben we niet gehad. Alleen dat we bij de stops langer zijn gebleven wat niet echt nodig was op die plaatsen. Want qua uitzicht en plaats was het niet echt aantrekkelijk om daar langer te vertoeven

As we paid 75£ each for the main activity of the Blue Caves which was subsequently cancelled due to bad weather by the coastguard as we had just left the hotel (the weather was not bad and there were boats visiting the caves along the shore without any problems), we ended up visiting a monastry/church for 1/2 hour instead which was free. The wine tasting was good and informative, the soap factory was a waste of time. We would expect a refund to compensate for the cost of the non boat trip

Could have done with a bit more space in the bus, was relatively cramped for the amount of time spent on it. Was a bit of a whirlwind tour but had to fit a lot into the day and was a lot of travelling between stops. Overall, Kay was a very knowledgeable guide, saw pretty much the whole island, great little places to stop and try local wines. Beautiful scenery! Worth the trip!

Felt the day was a bit drawn out. Crucially I think it should be explained that to get into the boat to go the blue caves, you have to walk down a cliff path with steps which are a bit uneven. Bad enough going down but for anyone with breathing problems like my husband, nearly impossible to get back up. Need to be told this is not suitable for anyone with breathing problems! Also disappointed that the blue caves were not up to how it was all described. Food stop needs to be earlier in the day.

Absolutely enjoyed the whole experience, the wine tasting, the coffe & cake was lovely, the blue caves too (although I would have liked a pre warning about the walk & steps to the boat, although fairly short I personally found it a bit challenging). The soap making and local crafts stop was probably one of the best we have ever been to, and finally, the meze was exceptional. We thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

Top chauffeur (Mikalis), reed rustig, beheerst en zeer veilig. De gids Kay deed wat ze moest doen. Leuke dingen gezien. Tour zou qua kilometers wel wat ingekort mogen worden zodat je meer tijd hebt om onderweg uit te stappen. Het was nu vooral veel in de bus zitten. De afsluiter in de taverna is fantastisch, lekker gegeten.

The first room we were allocated should not be rented to guests. It had a terrible smell, toilet continuously flush and the Aircon was inefficient. We did move rooms after two day but this simple process was made difficult by an awful reception team. The new room was much better, everything worked and it did not smell. How can these two rooms be considered the same standard and price?The general condition of the hotel is poor and needs significant maintenance.

Really enjoyed this trip and our guide Constantina was really knowledgeable. There are a limited number of places on this trip and there were only 16 people on ours. The tour of the winery and tasting was a great start! We stopped off at a taverna for coffee and cake ans as then had a boat trip to the Blue Caves where we had a quick dip in the sea. The meal at the end of the day was lovely too - so much food! Just remember to take cash if you want to buy anything!

We were soled this trip as VIP and only 11 people. But there were 19 in total and the back 4 seats of the minibus were awful. Half the space of everyone. Too hot and claustrophobic. I swapped with a lady who said she would have to get a taxi. We were told would be visiting olive press but this was missed. Very steep cliff steps to get on a boat which we were not made aware of and not suitable for older people. It was quite daunting. Main issue with the day was the minibus seats at the back.

We went on this trip on 6 of August our group she had 20 people is definitely to many people a special in mimi bus . Back seats are too small for 4 people on the end and should be used only by maximum 2 people. Some of passengers was not interested that kind of trip and maybe should be more informed what kind of trip it is a special young adults age 18-20 . If someone is not interested a wine should reserve trip like that . Otherwise trip was a really good experience.

The guide and driver were super friendly and very knowledgeable. There was an opportunity to see the whole island, and enjoy culture, food, history and natural beauty. My highlight was the visits to the vineyard, coffee shop & taverna. Best Greek wines and foods I've eaten in my whole life; I have been to mainland Greece, Kos & Cyprus, so I can tell you this food stood out! I enjoyed the site of the blue caves, but found the boat ride a bit choppy. This trip is fantastic value; 100% recommended!

Bit disappointed as was late picking us up and spent majority of our time on the coach the boat ride was very short and we only got to spend five minutes in the water as well as this you only got a good view depending on which side of the boat you where sat on personally wouldn’t recommend as feel there are better ways to see more on your own for cheaper :(

A perfect day out. Start not too early. Only 10 on the tour. Informative & friendly guide (Kay) & driver (Spiros). Wine samples were great (albeit a little early in the day!) Coffee & cake with a super view. Great samples of soaps, olives & drinks at the 2000 year old olive tree. Great "mezes" at the end of the day - far too much to eat, but all dishes were lovely. Transfer from our hotel a little far (Alkyes) but Tui provided a private transfer to rendezvous which helped.

the guided tour of the winery was rushed by the owner, the boat trip was cancelled on our trip due to the weather being so windy but the place we were took instead was to a monastery but that was closed so we were just kicking our heels for some time. We were told that food and drink was included in the trip but when we got to the destination for lunch it only included water and ouzo! A table of 12 shared 3 lots of each item where as a table of 2 shared between them. Alot of time travelling :(

If I could give this excursion 6 stars, I would. I absolutely loved it. Our tour guide, Kay, was brilliant and very informative. The wine tour & tasting was great. My favourite part was the blue caves boat trip. We literally went INSIDE the caves.. In a boat! Madness. Loved seeing the 2000yo olive tree and little soap "factory", bought some lovely pantry fillers like olive oil & honey, all produced there. Topped it off with a lovely early evening meze on top of a mountain. 100% worth every penny

Kleine groep is erg fijn! Start wijnproeverij om 11.00 uur is wel een beetje vroeg. Vrij veel tijd in bus gezeten maar mooie stops gemaakt. Oude windmolens helaas niet gezien. Boottocht blauwe grotten heel mooi maar kort en hooguit 10 minuten tijd om te zwemmen. Bezoek Exo Chora en gezien wat er met olijfolie allemaal gemaakt wordt was leuk. Afgesloten rond 16.30 met heerlijke late lunch en geweldig uitzicht bij Damianos Caves in Argalas. Wellicht een idee om de tour om te draaien!

When booking the tour we were encouraged that there was a maximum group size of 16. The reality was that there were 19 people on the tour in total meaning conditions on the coach were cramped and uncomfortable. This extended to the boat trip meaning that there was no room to maneuver and fully enjoy the blue caves.

Every stop was wonderful. The steps down to the blue caves boat were a little difficult but unavoidable The vineyard was very interesting the views from the light house were amazing. The home made products ( soaps and creams) were a lovely quality. The final stop at the Dionasis Caves in the mountains withe the wonderful meze and ouzo and views were breathtaking Overall the guide was great and the driver made us feel safe on some difficult . De busreis was slecht, bus te klein, zaten opgepropt op de achterbank. Geen rekening gehouden met comfort / lengte van mensen. 4 volwassenen mensen te krap op de bank verder geen plaats. Boottocht naar de blauwe grotten was leuk, de " schipper " maakte er echt wat van, was erg enthousiast. De wijnproeverij en het verkoop praatje van de olijf producten was minder. De gids hield haar ingestudeerde praatje , geen respons op onze vraag om te rouleren van plekken in de bus.

Sååå trevlig personal, härliga o hjärtliga berättelser om ön, suveräna besöksmål med fantastiska utsikt från bergen, värt varenda krona! Dit is echt een excursie die je moet boeken als je op Zakynthos bent. Wij hadden een fantastische gids van Tui die onderweg ook extra informatie vertelde over Zakynthos. Als je goede wijn kunt waarderen is de proeverij echt een aanrader en wij hebben dan ook wijn gekocht om tijdens ons verblijf op Zakynthos te drinken en om mee te nemen naar huis. Alle stops waren zeer de moeite waard en de afsluiting met de versnaperingen was werkelijk waanzinnig! Wacht tot ook het vlees wordt geserveerd…. 10

Kay our guide was very knowledgeable making the trip all that more enjoyable. The Blue Cave part of the trip was fantastic with the boat coxswain stopping for 20 minutes to enable the passengers on his boat to have a swim in the very refreshing waters of the Ionian Sea. To top the day off the Greek Mezze at the local Taverna was superb. The food just kept on coming and coming. Not sure how anyone makes money from this trip but we would definitely recommend this to anyone!!

Dejligt men en intim lillt gruppe og der var tid nok til at opleve det hele. Vi fik dog af vide, da vi bestilte, at vi ville være tilbage på hotellet kl. 16-17. Guiderne sagde at maden ville være sen frokost men vi spiste først kl. 17:30 og var på hotellet kl. 19:30. We enjoyed the tour overall and the smaller group aspect. Being regular TUI guests we are sometimes annoyed at group sizes on trips like this. My general feedback would be the tour felt rushed. A major selling point of this tour is the wine tasting. The “factory” is outdated and does not look like any wine making takes place there. As for the tasting…no interactions with guests, just grab a glass and help yourself. I felt like this missed a trick.

George, from our hotel, Caravel was brilliant as was Chris at the wine tasting, very informative. The trip is expensive but considering what it provided it was total value for money in every aspect and thoroughly and highly recommended for all ages including ours(over 75). Book it, you won't be disappointed.

Het was een hele leuke toer waarin veel verteld werd over het eiland en de historie (wel jammer dat het in het Engels was) alles werd vlot geregeld en het eten was heerlijk en erg veel. Het is wel bij de wijnboerderij en de olijfboom erg gericht op de verkoop van producten en ik mij voorstellen dat niet iedereen dat prettig vindt

We thoroughly enjoyed all elements of the tour. Each element complimented the others. The scenery was spectacular and it was lovely to share the experience with a smaller group added to the enjoyment. We enjoyed the meal and view at Damianos Caves - a great way to round off the day. We loved the swim at the blue caves but getting back into the boat was a bit of a struggle. A chance to change back into dry clothes after the swim would have been much appreciated.

I thought the whole day was managed perfectly and the TUI rep (manager) who conducted the tour had lots of knowledge of the local area to share. I appreciate that an extra mini bus was put on to make this trip happen on the Tuesday as it was a trip specific to the Tui Blue Zante Maris hotel and I'm really please it was able to happen as both my wife and I really enjoyed it. Also a special mention to the mini bus driver who was so friendly, knowledgable about Zante itself and a really nice chap.

Overall I enjoyed the excursion, the guide was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, the tour covered a lot of zante and it was interesting to see the typical villages and visit wine distillary and olive oil factory and learn how they are made. An unavoidable aspect which let the tour down was the boat trip to blue caves being cancelled due to weather, which being able to go on the boat and swim in the sea is a main selling point of the tour.

Deze tour is erg duur in verhouding tot de beschrijving. Doordat je veel doet, moet je overal langs racen en heb je weinig tijd om echt goed te kijken. De gids sprak niet heel goed Engels, waardoor er regelmatig communicatiefouten ontstonden. Er staat beschreven dat er avondeten is inbegrepen, maar dit is geen volle maaltijd. Je ziet met deze tour wel veel van het eiland. De bus tijdens deze tour is klein, waardoor je als stel of gezin mogelijk uit elkaar moet zitten (de hele tour).

Sään vuoksi siniset luolat jäi näkemättä, harmillista mutta ymmärrettävää. Oma rajallinen kielitaito tietysti vei osan nautinnosta kun osa jutuista menee sivusuun, opas hyvä kuitenkin ja kuskin kyydissä turvallinen olo. Viinitilalta ostettiin viiniä joka lähikaupasta ostettuna olisi ollut puolet halvempaa, se tietysti hieman harmitti.

De wijnproeverij was erg leuk, goed verhaal over hoe alles daar werkt. De proeverij erna was ook erg leuk. De boottocht was top. Het eten bij de windmolen was goed, het uitzicht spectaculair. Olijfproducten bekijken ook erg leuk. Griekse hapjes bij Cave Damianos waren heerlijk en prachtig restaurant op zeer mooie locatie. Ik heb geen verbeterpunten

Utflykten var bra men tidsschemat var lite tight. Det kändes som att man rusade igenom de olika stoppen för att hinna med allt. Exempelvis hade det varit trevligt om man på vinprovningen fick sitta ner och bli serverad vin istället för att behöva tränga sig fram för att få smaka. Båtturen hade gärna fått vara mycket längre så man kunde bada mer utan att stressa. Guiden va kanon och förklarade hela tiden vad det va man åkte förbi på ett bra sätt.

Loved it all but probably need a toilet stop to change after Blue Caves. A little longer in the sea would be great. Bruschetta was very sparse for topping. Needed more than just a very thin slice of tomato and pepper. Some got coffee, I waited for tea but got none! Off er both please!

Es war ein gelungener Tag mit vielen spannenden Eindrücken. Unser Tourguide George hat uns viel erklärt und hat schöne Fotos von uns gemacht. Hierfür nochmal ganz herzlichen Dank. Die Weinprobe hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir haben direkt etwas Wein gekauft. Die Bootstour in die Höhlen war spektakulär, wer wollte konnte sich danach bei einem kurzen Badestop erfrischen. Den Abschluss dieses gelungenen Tages machten wir in dem tollen Restaurant Cave Damianos mit einer schönen Aussicht.

As only a small group of 16 it was perfect, no other groups were with us no crowded coach, no crowded blue caves boat it was a great 7 hours. We were treated as individuals even at the mountain restraunt.. Fantastic trip well worth it !

Wat een leuke toer met een geweldige gids die van alles kon vertellen over het eiland, de cultuur en de gewoontes. Bij de wijnproeverij ook weer leuke uitleg. Kleine groep van zo’n 16 man zodat je alle vragen kon stellen die je had. De boottocht was niet zo lang, maar precies lang genoeg om de grotten goed te zien en toch nog even af te koelen in zee.

The day was a good trip overall. The winery and tasting could have been a little longer and more thought out. For example, have all the wines already poured in the glasses and as tasting , describe each one instead of asking which ones you wanted to try/ the meze was located in a beautiful restaurant, but after that, no body really wanted to stop at the olive oil factory at 7pm. This could do with being taken out. Not even the staff wanted to be there.

Absolutely loved everything about the day. The travel was cool and comfortable, the guide was welcoming, knowledgeable and generous with her time (thanks Konstantina) and the activities were superb. The amount of food and wine served to us at the restaurant at the end of the trip was phenomenal and they even catered for my husband who is coeliac. Everything was great, especially our driver's skills and our knowledgable guide Konstantina. It was fun, intimare, informativa and beautiful. The ONLY downside was the snack/lunch included during lunchtime, which was way too little. However, the locals stores, stops and the dinner at the taverna in the end were amazing.

Als de weersvoorspelling veel wind aangeeft, en je doet de toer voor de Blue cave, dan zou ik de trip annuleren. De bootjes varen dan nl. niet. Voor ons een tegenvaller. Je krijgt ook geen geld terug als ze de bootjes niet hoeven te huren. In verhouding is er veel reistijd. We hebben een leuke dag gehad. Het zeepwinkeltje bij de oude boom voegt niets toe aan de belevenis van de dag. Het eten is oké maar verwacht geen complete maaltijd.

TUI Rep was fantastic! We had great wine and olive oil tours, beautiful lunch views, fun boat trip, and a huge dinner! Unexpected part, the boat operator didn’t stop in time before bashing into the cave wall, resulting in small amount of rock falling into boat and onto a passenger.

I was worried that this trip would be a bit gruelling due to the amount of planned activities however I needn’t have been concerned. The whole day was broken up into little sections, neither too long nor too short. I would say that my highlight was being able to jump off the boat where we snorkelled and the breathtakingly beautiful views at Damianos restaurant where they treated us to a real feast.

Kay our guide and Spiros our driver were both wonderful, lots of stops for refreshments and so much food on offer at the taverna, an amazing Greek meze with lots of wine! Some lovely scenery and we saw so much of the island, including lots of mountain villages that Kay was able to tell us about.

We enjoyed the whole trip, our guide Georgios from our hotel was fantastic ! We struggled with the heat on the coach which got to 43 degrees so maybe better aircon would have helped. We did feel we had had enough when we arrived at our final destination, the olive oil processing plant but that was probably to do with the heat zapping our energy. The best parts were the Blue Caves and Cave Damianons restaurant.

Tour waarin je veel ziet! Leuk om een kijkje te nemen bij de wijngaard en de olijfolie fabriek. De zeepmaakster had van ons niet gehoeven. Bij de blue caves stopten we drie keer in een grot om te zwemmen! Je zit ongeveer 30-35 minuten op de boot. Daarna ook nog de gelegenheid om je om te kleden. Super goed geregeld en ze hebben overal aan gedacht. Eten was ook heerlijk! Je loopt niet veel dus je kan ook prima je slippers aan.

It was a great day. The wine tasting tour was really interesting and the guide was super knowledgeable. The wine was lovely too! The boat trip was really enjoyable as we're the other stops. The mezzo dinner was amazing - so much delicious food! Our guide, Kay was great. The bus was air conditioned which made travelling to the different places far more comfortable.

Het was echt geweldig om zo’n groot deel van het eiland te bekijken, per voet, bus en boot. Het proeven van de Griekse keuken is groots en er lijkt geen einde aan te komen, heerlijk! Enige minpunt is de omschrijving van deze trip, net als die van andere reistripjes. Staat je bijvoorbeeld niet blind op zwemmen, dat kan hooguit n paar minuten.

Overall it was a really good trip. Our host for the day was Jarno who made our day perfect to be honest. He was such a great host with loads of information for us and the whole group had a really fun day. I personally enjoyed the restaurant with the fabulous views the best, where we had a lovely selection of platters, it was super nice with exceptional views. Personally I don't travel too well I did find the minibus to be a little stifled heat wise...no air circulating. Jayne & Tony xx

We particularly liked the small size of the group, and want to give special praise for our guide Jarno who was an amazing guide and host. All of the hosts at the locations we visited were very welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate about their work which made the visits very enjoyable. The timing of the refreshment stops was perfect and the food was excellent. Great value for money, and we got to see a lot of the beautiful island.

Everything was taken care of from pick up to drop off couldn't fault the TUI staff and other supporting businesses the day we joined this tour. Wine tasting was delicious, scenic routes, tasty bruschetta snack, lovely visit to small towns in the mountains and then a lovely Greek dinner! Definitely need to take some water with you as it is an all day trip (there are opportunities to buy more than the complimentary drinks but water is worth it for the bus). Overall an amazing day exploring Zante!

Retki oli erinomainen! Opas Konstantina kertoi Zakynthoksesta ja Kreikasta ammattitaidolla ja intohimoisesti. Oli ilo olla hänen retkellään! Kuljettaja Michalis oli huomaavainen ja hymyssä suin koko päivän. Retkellä näki koko saaren ja pääsi käsiksi autenttisempaan Zakynthokseen. Retki siis täysi 10. Ainut miinus oli se, että retkikuvauksessa luki "3 ruokalajin illallinen", joka oli todellisuudessa lajitelma Kreikkalaisia alkupaloja. Maukkaita, mutta sana illallinen oli harhaanjohtava.

The whole experience was absolutely amazing and fantastic value for money. Take your pick of the highlights, the boat trip to the Blue Caves, the wine or olive tasting, the view of ancient olive tree and local stop offs or the meze feast. But for us it was our guide Kay who shared her wealth of knowledge of the island, its history, people, culture, geography. We learned so much about Zante on that trip and it was a great way to see the island and its outstanding scenery. Highly recommend.

The blue caves and wine tasting experience went above and beyond our expectations. Tour guide Bianca was welcoming and very informative. Coach driver Aris did a great job on some challenging roads. Boat trip to the blue caves was superb, vineyard wine tasting fantastic as was the olive oil factory visit. The taverna meal was outstanding and the whole experience was worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Kay was a fabulous tour guide - she has so much knowledge of the island she was a pleasure to listen to- all the places we visited were so beautiful and the places we ate food at were outstanding what a treat.

The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. There was numerous stops along the way with beautiful views and it was a great way to see the island. The wine tasting was superb and the swim at the Blue caves was amazing. The restaurant was stunning with beautiful views and amazing meze. The only thing I would say is there was a long drive from the caves to the restaurant which would have benefited from an additional stop to break up the journey but did not detract from what was a brilliant trip!

This was a lovely day out, the speed boat was the best part as we got to jump into the clear blue sea! And Cameo island was absolutely beautiful. I also got engaged this day so that made it more special!
