The guide Danny was brilliant, the boats and the crew where brilliant too, we had a great time whilst on both vessels, the swimming bowl where we encounter the starfish, rays and fish was fantastic, the island was enjoyable too, decent food, it's only let down was the toilets, they were some broken, others where unable to flush, full of excrement, and sadly from a snorkeling perspective had nothing there to see, other than a nice beach, I would have preferred longer on the boat

This trip was advertised to us as much better than the competitors and that is why it was almost double the price. In reality, it was the exact same as other trips. The snorkeling time was ridiculously short, at most we were given 15 minutes. The catamaran and other boats we used were extremely basic and a little run down. From the ticket price, we were expecting a much higher standard.

The entire day was fabulous! Beach they take you to is picture perfect. Lunch has lots of variety from salads to pasta to meat. It’s a long day 630am to 7pm but worth it. The TUI experience only has TUI people on so not overcrowded, nice numbers. Snorkeling is also ok, not too far out to sea. Definitely worth it.

Amazing trip. Very well organised fantastic transport. Great guide knowledge and safety. Well worth paying extra for more privacy and time in the island. Amazing food and cocktails. We hadden liever gehad dat ons was gemeld om wat geld mee te nemen om ter plaatse het drankje in de ananas te kunnen kopen, een waterdicht zakje voor je gsm,.. er was ons verteld enkel wat fooi mee te nemen. Dit vonden we wel jammer dat we dus niet voldoende bij hadden. Catamaran was aangenaam door de muziek, entertainment en eten. Speedboot was zeer vlot en goed dat dit in het naar huis gaan was. Eten op het eiland was ook lekker.

Johnny our guide was amazing very helpful and great information throughout the whole trip. Speed boat was fun heading out there and catamaran back was nice to relax drink and dance. Saona island is a must see and with this trip get TUI only beach which really helps with it not being over crowded. If you go Dominican you have to go on this trip!

Het eiland was prachtig, echt niks anders dan op de plaatjes. Echter, is het massaal en toeristisch. Ons is beloofd een supreme, vip. Dat was het geenszins. Wanneer iedereen je iedereen een supreme verkoopt krijgt iedereen hetzelfde voor meer geld dan eerder. Het is echt een hele dag, van 's morgenvroeg tot laat in de avond. Op de speedboot was het vol en druk. Het privéstrand is 3 meter strand met bedjes. 3 meter links en 3 meter rechts van dat privestrand zitten twee andere privestranden

The trip was completely different to what we booked. we booked the "VIP" experience but we did not receive any of the elements promised during the booking process. Parts that were included were completely different to what was explained. NO private beach, NO private lunch. NO fresh water pool. Snorkelling done in the port before boat even moved with other boats nearly colliding with the swimmers.

we did not like on the way back to the hotel Mama asked the people on the bus if they would like to stop at KFC obviously all the kids wanted to but we had dinner reservation and the stop at KFC was an extra 45 minutes. the bus didn't get back to the hotel till 8pm. This should not of happened.

We feel the trip was missoldto us, as it was sold as an over 13s exclusive trip and we had a number of young children on the tour. The children where not a issue, but we was not sold the trip on that basis. Also, we had to find our own way back to the coach from the boat, but we did know our way. It could have been intimidating for others. If we had not been told it was over 13s and exclusive, we would probably score 9, as it was quite expensive though the service was good by everyone

We had an amazing time, but have to mention that we didn’t get all that was sold to us when booking. We were told cocktails and drinks available all day, the only cocktail available was one you had to purchase at Sanoa, the boats offered small cups of coke, sprite, beer or rum and coke. We were told we’d get wine and beer with the meal and didn’t. This is our only complaint. The rest of the trip was great.

The snorkeling was a waste of time as we were still in the harbour area. After 30mins we were back on the boat and the snorkeling equipment was offloaded. It could have been used at the Natural Pool. The crews on the catamarans were fantastic!

The guide was brilliant and looked after us all day. However the trip was all inclusive… it ran out of sprite on the way out then ran out of beer and water in the way home. It also only had rum or beer as alcoholic drinks… not everyone likes that. There was no other juice and for it being a trip that included kids they definitely needed more drinks available. Food on the beach island was lovely

This was a fantastic tour, with only a few hiccups. Lite breakfast was not anywhere near a breakfast, you’ll need to eat or take food with you. They don’t in anyway cater for allergies, so bear in mind. Finally, our driver for the last part of the return was a maniac who put everyone at risk by driving on the wrong side of the road for the most part. However and most importantly Saona is a beautiful island and well worth a visit.

Couldn't snorkel because the mouth piece inner bits were missing, couldn't keep the breathing tube in. They ran.out of soft drinks and water on the island an hour and a half before we were due to leave on a baking hot day. Got a drink after being on the boat back after half an hour. 2 hours without a.drink!

Really enjoyed the overall experience however the transfer was a bit of a disappointment. We knew it would be a long bus ride however when we stopped to collect other guests they weren’t at the hotel reception so it went to another reception then back to the first then to the second reception again and the guests were still not there. I felt that as you are told when you book to arrive 10 mins earlier than pick up that the driver should have waited 5 mins then go on as other guests are waiting.

Our family loved it as a day out, the experience of snorkeling and swimming with the starfishes and stingrays, seeing the Caribbean sea and having that experience together was amazing. Mama Hen our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable. For myself the only drawback was not many vegetarian options.

The coach journey back was the worse experience I’ve ever had. I understand the guild wanted to make people happy but the karaoke was absolutely awful. Out of tune men singing of the coach PA system was to much for us. Yes 95% of the coach loved it but the people from our hotel didn’t appreciate it.

Went on this trip 4 years ago and loved it so went again and it was below standard, very poor service from guide who left us at the harbour for an hour without explanation “food” on Saona Island was bearly edible it was really bad. The area of the island Tui say is exclusive itself seems run down from the last visit which is surprising considering the amount of money this trip generates you’d of thought decent washroom facilities would be available and a food offering fit for human consumption

We enjoyed everything about the day and Danny our guide was brilliant, none stop entertaining from him all day. Him and the other guys on board were great, got you up dancing and singing on board so made the journey enjoyable. Once at the island it was paradise, lunch was great with plenty to choose from and plenty to eat. Everyone was friendly too

The rep was awful, little communication and no interaction, he actually slept on the way back on the catamaran. The catamaran was awful, no seats and no lovely netting to lie on which was what we were told to expect. The crew on the speed boat on way were great, really entertaining and looked after us really well. Food on island was ok, but over cooked. On the way back they ran out of beer half way which was disappointing especially as only a handful of guests were drinking it.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and good fun. Street sellers at the harbour were a nuisance. Boat trip was very good. The section of beach that was allocated to us was at first sight beautiful, but the walk into the water was very rocky and obstructed by large beds of seaweed. We walked about 100 yards further down and it was a lot clearer. We were the last group to arrive and as such last to get access to the barbecue. To be honest this was very poor but overall a good day.

In no particular order... 1. Guide was useless, BJ was his name. He had very little interaction with our group. He did his job, but did not seem interested. He actually fell asleep on the return boat trip. 2. The return catamaran ran out of beer and only had little mixers, only Rum. So our party was not happy. 3. All Boat staff were fantastic, the island beach was Beautiful and the island food was great. The only thing was that the cooks practically thrusted the tip jar you.

As it was a very early start, we didn't have time for breakfast. We were given a selection of snacks (4) on the boat to the island but they weren't very substantial. The toilet on the island wasn't very hygienic and there was only 2 of each to serve the large amount of people visiting. Our guide for the day was very entertaining and knowledgeable so 10/10 ( Castro). Overall a great day out.

We were promised a private beach but on arrival we were herded like cattle to a tiny part we were allowed to use. There was only meant to be two boats at a time but there was easily six. The was very basic. We were left stranded on our boat for forty minutes as they didn’t have a boat to take us ashore. Meant to be a quiet trip but it was like a party boat. Transport arrangements were poor having to chop and change coaches. Just an awful experience and not worth the money.

we enjoyed the trip the island was amazing staff where really good , my only criticism is parts of the experience felt like they were rushing you . we only got a few minutes snorkelling, then a few minutes at the blue lagoon, we weren’t on the island long before the boat came to pick us up . overall we a great time i’m just being honest .

Rafael and the boat crew were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.The snorkelling was disappointing: only around 20 minutes in a crowded harbour with very few fish.The natural pool was the highlight, with clear water and lots of starfish.The private beach was busy, pebbly at the shoreline and had a lot of seaweed, although once you got past that, the water was lovely.Food was limited and average. Despite a few disappointments, we still had a lovely day thanks to the excellent crew.

Promised an open bar for the whole day on the boat and at the island. Had the smallest cups on board the catamaran where one gulp and it was gone: that ran out before we got to the island. Get to the island and there’s again no beer for 2 hours: you can’t advertise something and then not get what you have paid fork. Shocking, paid for the most expensive of trips when others from The hotel or getyoirguide were cheaper by over £50 each and didn’t get what we paid for

Ik vond het eiland zelf mooi en de tocht er naartoe ook leuk. Terug met de snelle boot was heel fijn. Slorkelen stelde niet veel voor. Op het eiland zelf ook niks te zien in zee. Zeesterren wel gezien. Zitplekken op catanaran niet comfortabel. Er zijn luxere. 160 euro voor deze trip veels te hoog. Daarnaast gingen ze op de bootn echt langs met een fooienpot terwijl je al aardig wat hebt betaald. Vind ik niet de bedoeling. Het moet wel spontaan gegeven kunnen worden.

Highly recommend booking with Tui, our guide Danny was exceptional from start to finish and made the day. A great day at Saona, the boat trips each way were great and the people on the boat couldn't do enough for us, from food, drink and great entertainment. Well worth the visit to the island , a beautiful place to visit.

I loved the host mama hen, she was lively, lovely and passionate. The boat crew on the boat trip was amazing!!! Endless rum and music!!! Take tips for boat there and back!!! Maybe a little more history while on catermarang would of been nice. The snorkeling was great on boat, but if you can take a snorkeling set for island as this wasn't provided which would of been good. But the island atmosphere and food was great!!

Food and drink good. Was expecting fast boat to Island and catamaran with party atmosphere on return but we had catamaran on way out and fast boat back . The snorkeling was just where we boarded catamaran just on edge of marina only few bit of coral and only odd fish. The trip was not worth the high cost as there are lots of other similar ones cheaper. They sell it with the private beach but its not worth the extra money. We had a good time meeting other guests.

Saona ist eine schöne Insel aber davon war nur ein schlechter Strandabschnitt zu sehen, der Preis war auch übertrieben hoch , das Essen sehr einfach ,die Toiletten zum nicht mehr wieder kommen. Leider haben wir uns mehr versprochen,da ich die Insel schon mal gesehen habe , da war unser Hotel-Strand sehr viel schöner. Nur eine Massenabfertigung noch .

The guide was excellent im keeping the group together and safe, the hospitality from the boat crews was fantastic and the service on the island and quality of food was brilliant, just a little bit over priced for what you get, £60-70 is a more realistic price than £100

We were totally mislead regarding this experience. Were told it was a private tour with small number of people on our own private beach, not true as other excursions there at the same time. The promise of lunch and unlimited drinks also misleading as the meat at the buffet was rationed and asking for a drink was met with a tutt and rolling eyes. Catamaran on the way home was not private as another excursions was added to our boat, again not private as promised. I would not recommend this trip.

What a beautiful day! The staff were amazing on every leg of the journey. Our guide was Johnny, and what a credit he is to TUI- funny and informative!! We had drinks, snacks, dancing and lunch the only thing we had to pay for were the Pina Coladas on the island but they were the best ones we had ever tried- worth it!!. Boats were not shabby at all and coach transfer looked pretty new. If I am lucky enough to return to DR I will be doing this tour again.

Really enjoyed the experience even though we have been before. Jonny our guide was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. He made the experience all the better because of his banter. Even though we have been before we went again as it’s a day from the hotel. I would have to say it was very pricey For two adults the cost was £272 and there was 6 of us in our group so would have thought we could have had a discount. We did ask but was told it would have to be 10 or more or book 2 experiences

Th boat trip was fine but the first stop in the natural pools wasn’t what was expected. Very busy and brief. Once we got to the beach we had to sit around a big table with people we didn’t know to eat a buffet lunch which wasn’t that good. In all we had about 30 to 40 minutes to enjoy the island and beach. Not worth £136.

Throughout the whole day we were offered no water, the snorkeling experience was 10 mins in the harbour cloudy water and no fish. Tiny little snacks on a far to small catamaran no space to lay out and relax. Swimming in natural bay was ok but over crowded. Disappointed with Saona island nothing special you could lay on a sunbed for 2 hours. Overall too expensive for what it was, wouldn't recommend this trip to anybody

Even though the island is beautiful we really didn’t think it was worth the amount we paid the open bar consisted of really small cups myself and my partner don’t drink but other guests was not happy as half way there they ran out of beer on the boat so the only choice of drink was Run and coke I managed to get 2 small cups of coke on the long boat ride to the island and 1 on the way home the food on the island was very limited it was very rocky getting into the water on the island

I asked the rep if price was negotiable for the excursion. She said no because she gave me a discount since we booked a one & the pineapple drinks are expensive at $10 each so she made it sound like they are included. She told us we didn’t need to take any money, so we didn’t have any for shopping at the end. Also need a snack on the catamaran that’s too long to go without eating. We didn’t get back until 8pm. A diabetic would have issues with this. The island and staff during trip were great.

Superb excursion, guide Rueben was very knowledgeable, spoke at least 4 languages and gave clear instructions and information, keeping group together when snorkeling and on Saona... private beach a winner! Food again was amazing. The only negative on this excursion - catamaran was small compared to the Sharky catamaran run excursions. Crew were fantastic on catamaran and fast boat. TUI bus transfer was very comfortable and Frank the driver was excellent.

Obama was our tour guide was fantastic, very knowledgable and enthusiastic. The trip itself was in a quiet area with only around 100 people for a 1 mile long beach strip. Was more than the normal trip but definitely worth it as we have no negative comments to leave.

The snorkeling wasn't up to scratch (still in the dock area, a few rocks, a couple of fish (nothing to write home about), smelt of diesel. Beautiful pool area where we had stingray and starfish. The beach at Saona Island was stunning, enjoyed watching the Pelican feeding. Seating for lunch was not enough. Got told off by another rep for sitting in the wrong area (where were we supposed to sit?)

Visiting Saona Island is a must do experience …. You wouldn’t go to Paris without visiting the Eiffel Tower, so if visiting the Dominican Republic you have to visit Saona Island. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The tour guide was excellent, service was great, speedboat & catamaran transfers were so much fun … and the island itself was pure paradise with some stunning snorkelling spots along the way. Take the trip, you won’t be disappointed.

The staff was brilliant, organised white roses and gave us space to say goodbye to someone. They were fun and the DJ was great. Jennifer our Tui rep is the best rep I have ever had. She went beyond her job and is the main reason I would use Tui again. I did nearly drown though in the naturally stand up in the sea and it was actually far too deep and spoilt a major part of the trip and was hoping for proper netting area on the catamaran but was let down. Overall it was a great trip though.

It was really excellent experience me and my wife enjoyed the whole day. Jonny the guide was funny and very informative with lots of knowledge about Dominican culture and sanoa island and the boat crews on the speed boat and catamaran were both so entertaining. The only thing we would say is the time we was told to be in reception was 6:55 we got there early at 6:45 and was picked up straight away so if we would of got there at the time we were told we would of missed the coach

The transfer was extremely long and having to stop at the TUI office . The first boat - the speed boat was so cramped ! It felt like there was far to many people you couldn't even move. The stops were a joke because you couldn't even take off your clothes with out hitting someone . It was hard to get in and out of the water because it was so cramped ! The boat back was dirty and full of out of control drunks, transferring boat to boat was dangerous!

The beach was disappointing, the sea was too stoney to get into.Too tourisry and spoilt. The food was fine and well presented and nice choices. The Tui free bar was a bit basic , The outward journey was very good , exciting and good music on the speedboat. BEST PART !!! Return journey OK but music was not so good needs more reggae or upbeat stuff. It was a bit boring, but staff did try very hard.The journey back on catamaran was a bit long and drawn out, disembarking was poor we got left behind

Das Teil der Insel war sehr dreckig. Das Wasser an dem "privat Strand" war sehr dreckig und voller Algen. Die Steine beim reingehen waren ungemütlich/ schmerzhaft. Der Hotelstrand war im Vergleich deutlich besser. Für so einen Preis hätte man mehr erwarten können.

It was a good tour overall- the guide was great and the views were fantastic! The party catameran out to the island was incredible and the staff made it a great time. The only issue was that we were told there would be a 30-40 minutes of snorkeling on each end of the trip. The first stop they pulled us out of the water after only 10 minutes and then the boat broke on the way back, so we were dropped off 1hr and 15 minutes late and were not allowed to stop to snorkel to see the starfish. 6/10

Castro is a absolute legend. We was knowledgeable, funny, friendly and kept us all entertained. If I had 1 criticism about the day, the 2 hour catamaran journey is a bit too long. But thats me being fussy after a long day. Catamaran first then speedboat would have been better.

Had the best day ever, was definitely worth paying the extra money to go to a more private beach, no crowds at all. Food was good for lunch and the rum even better. The guide and the staff on the boat were brilliant. We had so much fun. Will definitely do this trip again if we come back.

Transfer to boat - comfortable enough, yay for aircon! Tour guide - Johnny, what a legend, such a lovely and informative guy The snorkelling and stop in the sandbank were lovely enough and i nice addition. The island itself was pristine and such a stunning place to be, it was so peaceful. Food - Food was okay at best. Potatoes and rice were nice but the bbq was not. My husband got some chicken which looked like a carcass with no meat on it.. he was then unwell for 4 days following?

Johnson guide war sympathisch und sehr lustig. Mit ihm hat die Tour Spass gemacht. Aus religiösen gründen müssten wir drauf achten, welches fleisch wir essen. Das essen auf der Insel war nicht beschildert und man wusste nicht genau, welche zutaten dabei sind. Es gab Spaghetti mit tomatensoße und man hatte das gefühl es sind fleischstücke mit dabei. Shrimps konnten wir auch nicht essen weil es irgendwie mit bacon gegrillt wurde (vermutung) obwohl wir nachgefragt haben ob es vegetarisch ist.

Stunning island and definitely worth a visit however may aswell have paid for the cheaper excursion as this was definitely not a private beach. Sold as we would have a private beach exclusive for our group on the boat however many other boats of people were also there making it quite busy. Food and drinks were very poor. But the tour guide Castro was brilliant!

An all day trip to a beautiful island. Snorkelling swimming and a fantastic guide who was fun friendly and informative. Yes it’s a long day but well worth a trip. Island is beautiful. Guide didn’t do a lot, multiple times guests were left at locations without checking to make sure everyone was on the bus. If it wasn’t for us other guests they would have been left behind! Couldn’t fault the staff on the boats, they were brilliant!! Excellent atmosphere on there. The island itself was beautiful. Worth a visit, just maybe not with TUI! Maybe in future, guide to call out everyone on the list to make sure ALL guests are on board. Other than that, it was great.

Island was spectacular. Guide was good to get us from coach to port etc. he explained everything well enough. We had a guy who seemed to come on the trip just to drink. It was a shame, as it resulted in foul language and him walking off when we were getting on the coach to return home, which has already been a long day.. could’ve done without him. Guide was unaware of the amount he was drinking due to being below deck on sail home.

Voor ons was het teleurstellend ,op de heenweg regende en onweerde het heel erg hard. We hebben niet kunnen genieten van het water en het eiland. Snorkelen en prive zwemmen zoals ze dat noemen, gebeurde in de regen. Bij aankomst hebben wij allemaal verkleund onder een kabana gezeten totdat het tijd was voor de lunch,rond 13:00uur Ontbijt waren wat kaasblokjes ,wraprolletjes en drank (werden al om 06:35 uur opgehaald,konden dus zelf niet ontbijten in het hotel) Om 14:30 uur gingen we terug

From start to finish fantastic excursion..we do this one on visiting everytime we come to DR as its just fab..Danny is so funny and amazing and a credit to Tui..There are 2 too choose from for the sanoa exursion but always do the private beach one if your goin with Tui as its only for the certain few so no where near as crowded on the island...Speedboat there and catamaran back... what a day..Highly recomend 10 out of 10

Schnorcheln direkt am Hafen für ca. 10 Minuten, das war’s. Mittagessen mit Verspätung. Auf der Rückfahrt gab es nur Getränke für Gäste die nochmals Baden waren, die an Bord bekamen keine Getänke mehr. Wir waren alle bei Ankunft im Hafen klitsch nass, und so ging es direkt in den Klimatisierten Bus und zurück in die Hotels. Das Deutsch vom Reisebegleiter konnte man größtenteils nicht verstehen. Das einzig schöne war der Strand mit klarem Wasser

The island is beautiful! Clear waters and the stop you make in the middle of the ocean is cool! However the snorkelling was rubbish and very hard to breathe. Changing boats seconds after setting off was frustrating! The food was cold when we arrived seem to get there late was told we would be snorkelling for 30 mins and 45 mins in the natural pool which we didn’t was less time, boat broke down on the way back and had to switch in the middle of the ocean! Then the toilets at the port - Disgusting

Alkoholische Getränke inclusive ? Es gab nur rum Cola oder für 10 Dollar pinacolada auf der Insel. Geht gar nicht. Dann soll es so auch kommuniziert werden. Die Fahrt mit Katamaran selber war gut. Die Insel ist sehr schön. Allerdings nicht wie versprochen exklusiver Strandbereich. Mehrere Gruppen waren vor Ort. Es war, so schnell wie möglich viele Menschen durchschleusen. Das betraf sowohl die Insel, als auch das Schnorcheln und die Sandbank. Zu kostenintensiv für ein exklusiv Angebot. Es ist Massentourismus.

We have done the trip 3 times before and each time we came away really happy and felt it was great value for money, this time however, we were really disappointed. Saona supreme should be better than the classic, the catamaran was tiny and felt budget like, we didn’t get drinks whilst in the natural pool, the was no photographer as we’ve had previously, it felt like the staff were more interested in getting tips than entertaining. The only entertainment we had was someone’s Spotify?

Absolutely fantastic day from start to finish. Would recommend this trip 10x over. Bbq on Saona was lovely, and the Pina Colada pineapple is the best we've had so far this trip! For the price though, we think the pina should have been included (10USD extra). Would recomend taking some water shoes for in the sea at Saona as the pebbles are quite sharp on your feet. Overall a really lovely day out and the views at the island are to die for. Fabulous day.

Our speed board runs out of fuel in the mids of the sea, poor feed back from the boat captain, no apology also. My wife and fearfully not knowing what will happen to us, our tour guide was great and the TUI was fantastic at the resort. God bless him

3e excursion à Saona en 20 ans, et malheureusement la moins ********** en rapport qualité/prix. Repas vraiment médiocre, plage “VIP” surchargée (+200 personnes), bateau aller annoncé à 70% mais rempli à plus de 100%, très inconfortable. Seul point positif : le retour en catamaran, très agréable. Dommage que la qualité ne soit pas au niveau attendu pour une excursion TUI.

The information from our tour guide Rafael Castro, he was invaluable to our experience during the entire day. The crew on the boats were very engaging and added to the enjoyment of the experience. The food and drinks that we received were of very good quality and plenty to go around the whole group. We would definitely do it again and recommend for anyone to experience the secluded beauty of Soana island and the overall experience. Not to be missed. Highlight of our honeymoon!

The trip was not as it was sold to us. I didn't think the guide was the least bit interested in the clients but more interested in selling us drinks once we arrived on the island. He intimated that us buying drinks through him would help the locals. One client asked him if there was a toilet nearby and we just turned on his heels and ignored her. He didn't have any information for the guests and didn't appear to want to be there.

Leider hat das Micro nicht funktioniert, deshalb gab es im Bus vom Reiseleiter nur die nötigsten Informationen, wie auch später ohne Micro. Es gab nur Informationen über Essen usw. aber nichts von Land und Leuten, überhaupt waren die Infos sehr spärlich. Das Stück Privatstrand fand ich grausam. Die Liegen in Reihe und Glied für mehrere Veranstalter da hin gestellt. Die Getränkeversorgung auf der Insel war schlecht. Der Catermaran der Rückreise hat nichts mit einem Catermaran zu tun den Ich kenne

L’excursion dur beaucoup trop longtemps et le confort à bords des bateaux est plus que spartiate! On vous fait plonger entre les coques des bateaux en mouvement, niveau sécurité on repassera!!! Franchement pour 160€ par personne, du rhum chaud, 2 malheureux vers de coca, un bbq avec de la viande sèche. Heureusement que les pinacoladas des locaux étaient excellentes. Une expérience que je ne recommande à personne et que je ne referai jamais.

Op zich was de excursie goed, maar erg duur. Wat ie er voor krijgt, is erg weinig tenzij je veel alcolhol drinkt. Snacks op de boot en lunch waren karig. Personeel wel erg vriendelijk. Maar nu het ergste. We hadden nog extra twee pinacoladas voor op het eiland besteld. Was lekker totdat ik in de ananas roerde en er een sigaretpeuk in vond. Kreeg een nieuwe, maar met alleen de tekst i’m so sorry. zeer slechte zaak dit. Ik heb dit ook bij de host gemeld in het hotel. Graag jullie reactie.

Sadly only one snorkel opportunity, this was when we arrived at catamaran just outside harbour. Staff on boat very entertaining and helpful.. Guide spent a lot of his time on his phone. For a English speaking trip , guide was very limited at English language. Saona Island very pleasant, but facilities were very poor ( toilets not clean and no paper towels to dry hands). Plenty of rum and beer on boats, drinking water very sparse, should have been more available as very warm.

The trip was well organised and I was kept well informed about pick up times. The snorkeling was ok but not the best. The catamaran ride to the island was very good. Once on the island I was very disappointed, the sea was very rocky and full of seaweed, there was also a bit of rubbish in the sea!! Lots of ants all over the sun loungers!! The food on the island was really good and plenty of it and a good choice. The sea at our hotel was far nicer than the island.

It was an extremely long day 12 hours which we were told, to long picking passengers up, on speed boat NOT CATAMARAN AS TOLD which was way to crowded,literally 5 mins before they did snorkeling - another 35 mins to swim area- nice and saw turtle and starfish, then another 40 mins to the island- for 3 long hrs, beach was dirty full of ants and flies- had food - didn't ead it fish was cold. On way back got onto boat to transfer to CATAMARAN for 2 very long, uncomfortable draining hours.

The island is dirty i cut my toe in something in the sand, I was told I bought the top package and was paying to have comfort and space- there would be 20 people max on the speedboat. on the way there there there was 55. I never got to sit on same row as my girlfriend as not enough space. I also came back from island with 16 mosquito bites when I previously had none after 8 days of my holiday

White sands, turquoise waters, and the overall vibe was what you dream of—definitely a highlight of any Dominican trip. Lunch could be improved. The meat was tough and overcooked and there wasn’t any salad dressing. Jonny was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable but would have been better if he was with us for the whole trip. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I’d definitely recommend it to friends.

Veel te luide muziek aan boord. Onnodige stops met de bus om de activiteit te rekken. Ze lieten ons snorkelen om zeesterren te zien goed wetende dat er daar geen zaten. Wanneer we verder met de boot aan het varen waren lagen er wel waarop de gids zei hier liggen er omdat het hier rustiger is. Als je promo maakt voor het zien van zeesterren waarom laat je de mensen dan niet in het water aan de zeesterren???

Guide and crew on boats were friendly and attentative. Disappointed to have people on the beach trying to sell massages and other items considering it was a ‘remote relaxing beach’. There was no mention of star fish and didn’t see any Good was great with a good selection of choice. The trip advertised 13+ but young children were on the trip The weather turned on the return trip causing choppy sea making transfers from boat to boat quite dangerous. Rain spoilt

The only beautiful thing on this trip is the clean water. The rest of it you can see anywhere. It is advertised as beeing the paradise but in the end the only "paradise" you see is the clear water. The sand and the palms are the same everywhere. (this is just my opinion)

Die Information des Guides glichen sich dem was man über Google erfährt fast eins zu eins, hätte ein wenig mehr sein dürfen. Auch hat er sich während der Tour sehr zurückgehalten, schon alleine einmal zu fragen „…und wie gefällt es euch?“ wäre sehr nett gewesen.

The guid and staff were great and full of fun and interesting information about the area. The only downside was not enough comfortable seating on the catamaran on the return leg,it was fine for us but I think a few of the elderly people struggled a bit. Die Fahrt mit dem Speedboot war sehr angenehm, auf Saona angekommen erwartete uns kein schönes Mittagessen, die Qualität lies sehr zu wünschen übrig, auch die Menge war bedürftig. Ein kleines Mädchen wollte gern noch ein paar Spaghetti die ihr nicht gegeben wurden weil die nächste Gruppe für das folge essen eingeplant war. Das Katamaran war nicht mit genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten ausgestattet und die Besatzung selber am Alkohol trinken. Im Hafen ist das Speedboot mit einem anderen kollidiert.

The food was fab and drinks were on tap. The staff on the island were fab too. Highly recommended this trip.

Säkerheten gällande flytvästar vid snorklingen kan ifrågasättas, vi var tvugna att ha dem, knutna vid foten, om vi ansåg oss simkunniga. Efterhand som resan fortgick var inte flytvästar alls av vikt. En väldigt berusad man vinglade kraftigt ombord och serverades ändå mer alkohol. Möjligen en svensk syn att då kanske det vore lämpligt att hindra honom från att dricka mer..Guiden var glad men hade väl mkt fokus på festande och hans nivå ibland var mer lämplig för ungdomar och inte barnfamiljer

To, co zepsuło tą wycieczkę, to byli uczestnicy - pomimo upojenia alkoholowego personel nadal podawał im drinki. Skończyło się to zabrudzeniem wymiocinami katamaranu i autokaru oraz dodatkowymi postojami w toalecie. Nikomu nie życzę podróży 3h w smrodzie wymiocin.

We booked for 3 people, one of us had got food poisoning so we were down to 2 & there is no way to cancel within 24 hours. As my son is 14, I had to pay a full adult price but the excursion treated him as a child.There was no advice from tui to say that when you go to Saona island it is critical that you take insect repellent… many of the party were bitten I had about 15 bites over my body. Being in La Romana, there was no Tui Rep however those from Punta Cana had a Tui coach and Rep on hand!

Die TUI Beraterin Ursula hat uns trotz meiner Nachfrage ob man auf der Insel schnorcheln kann mit JA beantwortet und das wir 4 Stunden auf der Insel bleiben. Fakt ist aber zum Schnorcheln ist diese Insel nicht geeignet. Der Strand ist wie im Hotel und für das habe ich für zwei Personen rd. 320 € ausgegeben. Außerdem waren wir nicht ganz 3 Stunden dort. Das Personal der Boote und der Reiseleiter waren super. Fakt: sehr schlechte Beratung weil falsche Tatsachen verkauft wurden.

All day party boat. More like an 18/30 experience with drunk idiots fawning over each other. No mention of over 13 when booking but even over 13s would be embarrassed by the drunken antics encouraged by the animation team (animation = feeding people rum). No health and safety. The guide even went home and left us to it on the way back!!!!!

Tour guide was well informed and entertaining. Snorkeling bit of let down as just outside of the harbour but safe. Lunch on Saona basic but sufficient. This is not a fine dine experience for those who complained about food! Journey back takes 2hrs take some covers as you may be exposed to sun for the duration. Saona island is spectacular, there is enough time to take great photos, have a cocktail and relax. The views are magnificent and extra price worth it as there was only few peiple around.

Ins Paradies und zurück. Johny- fantastischer Guide, spricht perfekt und fließend deutsch und englisch. Hat unglaublich professionell die Reiseleitung samt etwas Führung durch die Gegend übernommen. Saona Island beautiful, lunch lovely, see starfish but TUI experience not the best (viator much better). Guide didn't get off bus, we had to find him! Only 20min snorkel. First boat crew fab, Guide encouraged purchase of local $10 pina colada and tipping. His timings dodgy, told leaving Island at 1445, left at 1430. Trip back, cataraman sail ripped, took 2.5 hrs, crew not as engaging until want tip at end. Return coach dirty and full of empies and detour to drop guide off before last hotel!

The snack on the boat was limited, as were the drink options. The lunch stop on the island was unorganised and quickly ran out of options on the buffet. The drinks options on the island were extremely limited, with minimal communication from our guide. The seating on the return boat was really hard and uncomfortable, especially for the over 2 hour journey. The music was too load, with no area to relax and minimal shade options from the sun. Guide made his own way to the coach without the group.

Prijs verhouding klopt niet, veel te duur. 4x overstappen met de bootjes. Drinken op de boot met de catamaran is goed. Zit plekken zijn er gewoon te weinig of geen fatsoenlijke. Ook geen ligplaatsen dus je moet maar ergens kijken waar je zit. Eten op het eiland stelt ook maar weinig voor. De terug weg iedereen met de speedboten varen als gekken. Ook tussen de mensen die nog in het water zijn Max 10/15 meter vandaan….

Trip was leuk, maar busreis heen en terug te lang en laatste gedeelte een gevaarlijk rijdende chauffeur. Minpunt is het snorkelen en, dit duurt maar ongeveer 25 minuten en je bent omringd met llerei vaartuigen. Voor het snorkelen hoef ik dot niet meer te doen. Reisleider was een topper.

Heen met de speedboot. Op meerdere plekken gestopt om te snorkelen en te zwemmen. De bemanning maakte er onderweg een leuk feestje van. Het eiland is prachtig. Het was voor ons fijn dat onze boot als eerste aankwam, zodat het nog heerlijk rustig was. Het eten was oké. Terug met de catamaran. Helaas hele eind op de motor gevaren, terwijl het juist prachtig zeilweer was. De andere catamaran vanaf het eiland zeilde wel. Ook de muziek was op de catamaran te hard. Al met al wel een leuke dag gehad

Snorklingen i hamnen under all kritik såg inget och kändes inte seriöst att försöka se något där. Stoppet vid naturliga poolen fint men ingen fisk eller sjöstjärnor där o väldigt mycket folk. Saona iland fint o skönt med egen strand. ”Danny” rolig **********. Vi var mer ute efter snorkling o fin natur en ”partybåt” Turen kunde varit kortare o mer effektiv.

Das gesamte Erlebnis war gut, allerdings für den Preis nicht so privat wie es angepriesen wurde. Das Schnorcheln war ein Witz und es ist für die Masse gemacht… Die Insel und der Katamaran waren spitze auch das Essen war sehr gut, alle haben sich große Mühe gegeben. Ich habe es mir privater vorgestellt, so wie es auch angeboten wurde, für das Geld ist es so zu teuer.

Es war trotz aller Bemühungen eine touristische Massenabfertigung die in der TUI App wesentlich günstiger angeboten wurde. Das Mittagessen war mittelmäßig bis schlecht und der Strandabschnitt am Ende der Bucht wo wir hingefahren wurden, bot außer sich 2-3 Stunden auf den Liegen zu sonnen oder zu baden, keine Möglichkeit die Insel auch nur im näheren Umkreis zu erkunden.

Zu viele Menschen und Boote. Wir wollten keine Party , nur schnorcheln und Schwimmen. Schnorcheln war nicht zufriedenstellend- der Ort, wo wir raus gelassen und die Riffe waren tot. Sonst war alles toll! Die Insel Soana und das Meer ist wunderschön - Ausflug hat sich dennoch rentiert! Wir sind glücklich dort gewesen zu sein.

Dat onderweg op een ondiep stuk gesnorkeld kon worden was echt geweldig! Tip: Neem wel je eigen snorkelset mee, dat is fijner in gebruik. Gids had wel genoeg snorkelsets bij zich voor degene die dit niet bij zich hadden. Onze gids Raphael ''Castro'' was ook zeer vriendelijk en heeft veel verteld en maakte het leuk. Ondanks dat ik de Engelse taal niet heel machtig ben kon ik de gids in het Engels goed volgen en verstaan.

Die Fahrt ansich zur Insel war sehr gut, der Service an Board war auch sehr gut. Die Besatzung hat für unser Wohlbefinden gesorgt. Der Guide, der auch Deutsch sprechen sollte, hat alles sehr schnell runtergerattert. Ich musste mehrmals nachfragen was er gesagt hat. Das Meer war traumhaft, der Strand auch, nur um ins Wasser zu kommen sind wir über sehr steinigen Untergrund gelaufen, das war nicht sehr schön. Und auch beim Schnorcheln haben wir nur Sand und Seegras gesehen enttäuschend.

Wir haben am 15.03.2026 über TUI einen Ausflug zur Insel Saona gebucht und waren sehr enttäuscht. Der Preis war höher als in der App angegeben. Die Abholung verspätete sich um über 50 Minuten. Der Guide war unfreundlich, hat kaum Informationen gegeben und sogar geschlafen. Das versprochene Essen war bereits weg und wir sollten nur noch Reste essen. Der Katamaran entsprach überhaupt nicht den Bildern und wirkte alt und unsicher. Für diesen Preis absolut nicht akzeptabel.

Glad we choose the more expensive trip. It was a better experience from the activities, snorkeling and private beach. Poor value for money , not the snorkeling experience it's made out to be, took an absolute age to get there, on a catamaran, snacks on board where cheese on sticks and ham on sticks with fresh fruit on sticks for dessert, also a hand full of nachos, free drinks included, beer , rum, sprite and coke, we eventually got to the island and it's stunning really beautiful but we were then hurried to dinner of salad and barbecue pork chicken and prawns with free drinks as above, no fish in the area ?

Die Insel ist wunderschön, die Sehenswürdigkeiten unterwegs ebenfalls. Allerdings war die Reiseleitung sehr dürftig und schien recht demotiviert, Unterhaltung war nicht wirklich gegeben. Der „private“ Strandabschnitt von TUI ist kein Highlight (gibt schönere Abschnitte auf der Insel, waren in der Vergangenheit mit einem anderen Veranstalter dort). Allem in allem ist es ein schönes Erlebnis, aber die Veranstaltung via TUI würden wir nicht empfehlen (aufgrund besserer Erfahrung mit Anderen).

Long coach to boat and too much changing boats at sea, could be very dangerous. Finger weg vom TUI „Premium“-Ausflug – da war absolut nichts Premium! Gnadenlos überteuert, die Crew hat kaum Stimmung gemacht und der Schnorchelstopp fand bereits 5 Minuten nach Start der Tour statt – zusammen mit unzähligen anderen Booten und angefütterten Fischen. Die „All-inclusive“-Getränke wurden sowohl auf dem Schiff als auch auf der Insel stark rationiert und nur in Pappbechern ausgegeben. We did not enjoy the trip at all. The boat wasn't ready for half an hour after we arrived at the port. The snorkeling experience was very poor. Didn't much enjoy the sand bank & certainly not the experience described. If u didn't drink rum or fizzy drinks there was nothing else. The island however was beautiful & peaceful. For such an expensive excursion at $181.00 both boats were appeared old & poor - 2 hrs returning sat on the floor was not a good experience.

The food on the catamaran was poor. The guides did make a good effort to keep us entertained with drinks and dancing. The stop for snorkelling was poor. Once we reached the island we had time to ourselves before lunch was served which was adequate. The return journey on the speed boat was a terrible for the people seated in the right side of the boat. We also experienced an engine problem and a stop to look at rock formations that wasn’t necessary.

The island was beautiful but not a lot of difference to the coast line we were staying on. Bbq meat was dry and over cooked. The wine was disappointing, not really drinkable. They weren’t consistently topping up our glasses. The guys on the boats made our experience fun. Our TUI rep had a lot of knowledge but we felt he didn’t really want to be there. Long transfers and long day but overall fun experience.

Picked up early. Quite a long drive by bus. Picked up the boat. Offered drinks and snacks. Stopped off for snorkelling. Then stopped off again to get back into shallow water for rum and Coke in the sea. Back on the boat until we reached the island. Absolutely stunning. Our boat was there first so it felt so secluded. Had chance to relax and have a buffet lunch. Catamaran back. Dancing all the way back with plenty of rum. Great staff kept you entertained. Gorgeous day out!

There was no need to have a 5 minute snorkel stop as soon as we’d got on the boat . The sand bank stop was amazing and island was lovely but it was spoilt by poor lunch , being shepherded by a guide ( mesa ) who seemed only interested in himself , and who frequently reminded about tipping him !! & then poor organization for the way back . We got back to our hotel at 7.50pm ! There was no need to have set off so early a.m. as we went back on ourselves & the return was chaotic . Spoilt the trip

I have limited mobility. The rep who sold me the excursion was very aware of this. Told me if I could walk a few hundred yards, the trip would be OK for me to go on. What he didn't mention was having to walk into the water to board the boat, changing boats in heavy waves (more than once) all of which were quite disturbing. If not for some fellow tourists and boat crew manhandling me from boat to boat, I would probably have "lost the plot". Your TUI rep should NEVER have promoted this trip!

This experience was good overall although we found it to be a very long day . We appreciate that we had to get to the place but saying it was an 8 hr and it ended up being 12 hrs The last stop at the shop was not needed we were all very tired only to be told we were making another stop .

DieTour ist sehr gut organisiert. Der Guide war super. Der Transfer reibungslos.Die Bootsfahrt auf Hin-und Rückfahrt ein Höhepunkt. Der separate Strand mit eigenen Liegen einfach super. Empfehlenswert. Dagegen war das BBQ/Catering am Strand eine absolute Katastrophe. Das Fleisch alt und totgebraten, von dem Hühnchen waren nur noch die Knochen übrig. Die Zeit für das Essen war auf 15/20 Minuten begrenzt. Dann kam die nächste Gruppe.. Wenn etwas verändert werden sollte: Teilen Sie Sandwiches aus.

Extremely disappointing. Cheese and ham snacks on the way there. Rum coke or water. Elderly man had diarrhea all over the toilet on the boat and then washed off in the sea on the island. The food was awful and very limited choice for the price we paid. The pina coladas were lovely. The wine - no words- other than my husband vomited after a sip! The bar had very little choice to say the least. We waite on the catamaran for an hour until another group got on. No snacks and just rum coke or water!

We had such an incredible day on this trip, the fast boat was a bit of a tight squeeze with the amount of people which would be my only nit pick. I was impressed by the drinks and snacks on the fast boat. When we arrived to saona island it was stunning, having our own section of the beach made it even better. The food was incredible and plenty to go round. The guides were amazing, very knowledgable and keen to ensure you have a good time.

The only downside was the lunch the chef was cooking up loads of raw prawns with cooked prawns and he was putting the cooked ones on top of the raw ones and using the same tongues for both. I did think I shouldnt get them at the time wish I hadn't of done. I have now had upset stomach and 3 days ended up in bed on my last day of the holiday. Apart from this the trip was good

The overall trip was okay. The visit to the island was nice and the speedboat/catamaran were positives. However, our tour guide was very little help. He did not interact with the guests or offer information about the island or area. On the return journey, he sat on the catamaran with his headphones in and didn't engage in any conversation or offer anything insightful.

Pros: Timing and organisation and quality of guide was first class. Cons: Broken seats on the bus and l would suspect a worn wheel bearing. The food was not up to the standard needed to match a five-star holiday. Our Tui experience on the James Bond Island trip shows what can be achieved. Insufficient shade and seating on the catamaran.

This trip should be described as a boat trip as you spend more time on the boat than on the actual island! The guide was rude, constantly shouting orders at us. The island is not private at all, there was about 300 people on it. The food was terrible, me and my partner were ill the next day. My partner is an amputee, the guide had no consideration for him at all. I could say a lot more but I there’s not enough space! Overall I don’t recommend this trip at all! Complete waste of money!!

Both boat crews were very good. Guide was very poor with limited interaction, communication barriers and very little info or advice about the experience. The snorkel and shallow pool element was a complete let down, hundreds of people crammed in like cattle... a very impersonal, unauthentic experience. The island was OK, lunch was appalling unless you were a carnivore and the salad etc kept running out. Overall disappointing, but my wife and I made the best of a day we were committed to!

Aan het strand met palmbomen liggen kan in ons hotel ook. Voor 2,5 uur op Saona is dat een lange boottocht heen en terug niet waard. Bemanning boot was allervriendelijkst en communicatief, dit in tegenstelling tot de gids. Deze laatste communiceerde niet tot nauwelijks. Achteraf hadden wij liever een tocht het binnenland in geboekt en iets meer van het echte land gezien.

I recommend paying the extra to do the private trip, it’s definitely worth it with having longer on the island and having the more private beach! We were looked after by the team& they made the experience really fun from start to finish. Although it is a long day we left at 6.50am &didn’t get back until 7pm. The whole trip is very well organised & the island and stop off points were of course beautiful, we really enjoyed the food & drink on the island too which was included! Totally recommend!

Extrem enttäuschend und ärgerlich. Bei einem Preis von € 160,- pro Person wird man auf einem Partyboot (nur amerikanische Songs und DJ Ötzi und das bei unerträglicher Lautstärke) durch die herrliche Gegend gekarrt. Die Boote waren voll besetzt - 60 % Belegung wie bei der Buchung versprochen weit überschritten. Das Essen war grauenhaft - verbrannt, verdorrt und zäh wie Leder. This trip was over rated and cost far too much money. For VIP I expected more than two drinks on the boat. We got two each way. The snacks were insulting two little chunks of ham and cheese a small pitta bread rolled with ham and cheese it was like a sushi roll. We had no breakfast as trip picked up early. The food on beach was cold and we didn’t even get three hours there. Constantly asked to tip. This trip cost me £240 odd pounds for two people. On top of an already expensive holiday.

Picked up on time, but after one hour we stopped on the road and waited alone for the guide for about 30 minutes, which felt uncomfortable. The tour was advertised as 13+ and without mobility issues, but there were children and a woman with a walking stick. Playa Don Joe did not have white sand as advertised and was similar to the hotel beach.

Was told it was 15 mins transfer but ended up one hour. Guide was miserable. Speed boat was uncomfortable as was catamaran on the way back. Unaware of the transfer from speed boat to catamaran. Positioned on beech far from bar and food area. Unable to enter sea due to rocks and shells and seaweed. All inclusive was good if you like rum served in a paper cup the size of a shoot cup. Totally miss sold trip

Great experience overall, quite a lot of modes of transport in one day as we got picked up in a minibus then transferred to a coach, a small boat then the catamaran but totally worth it once you get to the island. Would’ve been better to get speedboat there and catamaran back for more relaxation time. Guide and crew were amazing. Food was good and lots of drinks. downside was the rep told us when we booked it we could touch/hold starfish but this wasn’t the case we just saw them from the boat

Told 45 min bus journey, 1 1/2 out, 1 3/4 back. Told paying upgrade gave better food, better beach, better drinks. Food basic at best. Tom, lettuce. Cuc. Spaghetti, pork chop, small prawns on stick. Small grilled piece chicken. Drinks coke or sprite with a little rum. Had one champagne but had run out when went back fir second. Private beach had 4 boat loads of approx 35 people per boat and only one bar. Told we should support islanders by buying their home made pina cold at 10 dollars each.

160 Euro ist zwar etwas teuer aber man bekommt etwas für das Geld. Bootsfahrt mit dem Schnellboot und Katamaran ist schon etliches wert. Die Insel ist auf alle Fälle sehenswert und der zwischenstop auf der Sandbank sollte man nicht verpassen. Kann man nur empfehlen.

The tour guide never smiled once ! The boats were overcrowded and uncomfortable, especially the catamaran. Not long enough at the 'highlight' the natural pool, we were told 40 mins and got 20. The beach on Saona was stony and hard to get into the sea The transfers from boat to boat at sea were horrible. This was not supreme! It was bargain basement. I did the Saona trip with tui in 2008 and 2010. Then it was a trip to rave over. Disappointed beyond belief

Although we really enjoyed the trip, the pick up was over 20 minutes late and the guide didn’t explain things clearly enough in our opinion. Also, once we arrived back in Bayahíbe, other trips had arrived at the same time so everywhere was crowded and the guide didn’t really make sure our group was together before walking back for the coach transfer, so the group was dispersed among other groups, causing quite a lot of uncertainty.

felaktig information om bussresan till båten, den skulle ta en timme men tog två timmar, vår buss hämtade folk på massor av hotell på vägen, guiden talade väldigt dålig engelska och var nonchalant och bussens högtalarsystem var katastrof. Däremot var båtpersonalen väldigt trevliga och roliga. Men vi kommer inte rekommendera resan för andra genom TUI Fly, finns mycket billigare och bättre alternativ har vi hört från flera kompisar på hotellet som köpt samma från andra företag

On our 1st week we stayed at Bahi Principe La Romana Grand. This was a lovely hotel. We booked one excursion through our TUI Rep to Saona Island We opted for the Supreme Tour after being advised by the tour representative that the cheaper option involved a crowded boat and long queues, particularly for lunch. For how it was pitched ...if we took on the supreme package - did not feel supreme or exclusive as there were A LOT of people - it sounded as though there would only be a handful of people (10 at most) to experience the exclusive beach and extra experience. This was all fine but I would say do not pitch it as something thats extra special and exclusive because that really did not come through - still a lovely trip.

The group of people that we were with est. 30 people, which was the perfect size group, mixtures of ages, couples, friends etc. There was mainly British people on the trip, which was nice, considering the lack of Brits at our hotel. The people made the trip (including guides etc). The island itself is stunning. More snacks choices on the catamaran would maybe be something that could be improved. Overall it was a great day out and I would highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant trip to Saone island, Johnny was an excellent guide with lots of information. I was worried about transferring between boats but all the staff were friendly and helpful so no problem at all. Swimming off the boat in Crystal clear water whilst drinking rum and coke was a new experience thoroughly enjoyed by all! The time on the island was lovely and the food was cooked well. I recommend this trip with tui above any other organisations here at the hotel.

The whole day was amazing from the trip out by catamaran to the return journey by motor cruiser. The island was a true paradise from palm trees, white sandy beaches to shallow safe swimming. My only downside was all the hawkers pushing and pushing for sales of items that really were shoddy or tacky. It was a bit pricey but if this little bit of paradise is saved then it's a price worth paying.

With all the other Hotel pick ups and pick at the Hub the initial coach trip was long. Once at the Port is was good and controlled boat trip to the Sand back and island. The island itself was fantastic but the food was very disappointing (1 out off 10), There was very little food that was Dominican / Caribbean style. Very limited BBQ food, it was like eating at a cheap school dinner. This food made us thinks we were in the UK not on a lovely Caribbean island. This was our 30th Wedding annivers

10/10, it was worth paying more for the private beech. Not crowded, plenty of food and drinks for everyone. Out in a fast boat and home on a catamaran. The captain and mate on each boat kept us entertained and filled up with food and drinks. The guide keep us on track and gave clear details of what to expect of the day when we got on to the coach. Safe driver who delivered us back to our hotel.

The advertised 20-minute snorkelling element was extremely disappointing (only lasted 10 minutes) and should be removed from the itinerary. The water was very murky, visibility was poor, and the area was overcrowded with numerous other boats. As a result, there was very little marine life to see. As a keen and experienced snorkeller, this part of the trip felt like a complete waste of time and did not meet reasonable expectations.

We enjoyed the beach and food at saona, it wasn't worth the money we paid for the trip. The boat itself was held together with gaffer taper, the sail was a patchwork quilt. The toilets were disgusting with no toilet paper in the ladies and the door couldn't close. The food on the boat was just hanging around, nothing was refrigerated.

The staff involved were very friendly, including the taxi driver who picked us up from the hotel, then the tour guide and boat staff. They were very attentive and entertained us all on the boat ride there and back. Great music and dancing on board, family friendly.

Everything enjoyable Only recommendation is to: Add a breakfast stop - it is long day and more often pickup times may affect ability to grab anything before 7am. Suggest to add some wood panel - shore where you get onto the uber boat for the catamaran as the area is very rocky and some glass was found so unsafe. . Recommend people to wear slip on mules or suggest area improvements. Staff and Saona was fabulous!

For the cost of the trip we really didn’t get a lot for that, on the boat we were told it would be drinks but that was a man with a bottle a rum & coke pouring it into plastic cups. Food offered on the boat was an inch of a cheese and ham wrap then later a piece of fruit on a cocktail stick. At the island food was cold, drinks had to purchased. No music was played on the speed boat back. The guide had either friends or family on there as he spent all his time with them. Everything was rushed.

We had an amazing experience with TUI on the Saona Island cruise tour. Everything was well organized, the staff were friendly and professional, and the island itself was absolutely beautiful. From the crystal-clear water to the relaxed atmosphere, it was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

Gut war die Org beim Anlegen der Boote einen Platz zu finden war leicht. Das Essen war sehr spät aber leider nicht fertig (gar). Das Chaos zum bustransfer war kaum zu überbieten 30 min zu spät eingetroffen im Hotel bei Abholung. Keine Kennzeichnung der kleinen Transporter das klappt bei schiffsausflügen deutlich besser.

It was a very long day as I got picked up at 06.30 and didn't return back to my hotel until after 19.00. That saying the island was beautiful. Didn't get to hold a starfish which I was told about and didn't rate the food as I had an upset stomach for the following 2 days.

Otrolig upplevelse, minne för livet! Helt underbart att få vara på en så pass fin strand samtidigt som en så liten grupp människor. God mat vid lunchbuffén samt väldigt bra service av såväl motorbåt- och katamaranpersonal och främst av guiden som satte guldkant på dagen. Hela upplägget får tio av tio. Vill man fila på små detaljer så kan man få bort det extra stoppet som bussen gör för att plocka upp folk vid ”tui centret”. Men i övrigt toppen!

The morning pick up is a bit chaotic. Lots of coaches arriving at the same time and no one really knows what they are doing. Would be so much better if the TUI rep was there at pick up. Over than that the trip was great. The catamaran was fab. The staff on there were so entertaining. Be careful of the food on the island I was really sick the next day, the meat is all cooked there but the rice and salad are out for some time. I would still recommend this trip

Topp service fra guiden som var full av energi og humør. Fint program. Veldig gøy med snorkling og bading i den blå lagune med servering. Fin båttur i frisk bris med underholdning av guiden. Deilig lunsj på Saona Island og enda mer bading på den vakre stranden. Topp opplevelse som jeg absolutt kan anbefale alle å få med seg.

Danny, our guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable, good fun and made the experience much more enjoyable. Speed boat was not quite a ‘speedboat’ and likewise the katamaran was not the typical image of a katamaran with the netting etc you’d expect. Minor things but 2nd time we have done this experience and nine years ago it was a little better for those reasons.

Bootsfahrten und privater Strand sowie Verpflegung waren ausgezeichnet. Einzig der 20-minütige Schnorchelstopp mitten im Hafenbereich war sehr enttäuschend und völlig unnötig. Kann getrost gestrichen werden, ohne das Tourerlebnis zu schmälern. Noch eine Anregung: auf die 500 Meter Fussmarsch vom Busparkplatz zum Bootanlegeplatz wurde vor der Tour nicht hingewiesen. Dies wäre für gehbehinderte Gäste von grosser Bedeutung.

Die Busfahrt war eine Katastrophe! Unendlich viele Stops bei anderen Hotels. Das Mikrofon war kaputt, die Klima zu kalt, der Reiseleiter ein absolutes Versagen. Die Versorgung mit Essen und Trinken verbesserungswürdig. Die Bootsfahrten waren gut. Der Strand war sehr schön, sich das Essen und Trinken ca. 100m weit holen zu müssen, unter aller....Das Essen war nicht gut, um ausreichend zuTrinken zu bekommen, muss man betteln? Für einen Merzedes bezahlt, einen VW Polo bekommen.

Ich habe bereits eine Bewertung über Google-Maps abgegeben. Wir waren positiv überrascht über die Anlage und den Service. Leider beginnt auf der Anlage der Dienst zwischen 3 und 4 Uhr Morgens. Man bekommt dann doch Verkehr mit und das Palaver der Abgestellten. Ansonsten super Strand, Service, Versorgung. Immer alle freundlich. Wir würden wieder kommen MfG Sebastian Schulze

Was een super mooie & gezellige excursie. De gids en het personeel op de boottochten waren super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op de terugweg werd er ook nog gedanst met het personeel. Zeker een dikke aanrader

Wir waren schon 3 mal auf Saona. Dieses Mal hat uns der Strandabschnitt nicht so gut gefallen, da er auch etwas steinig war beim Betreten ins Meer. Bei diesem Preis dürfte das Mittagessen etwas reichlicher sein.

The trip was great, loved the snorkeling, we saw some beautiful fish. The speedboat was great, the guide got everyone to sing happy birthday to my husband, thankyou, it made it more special as it was his 60th birthday. The catermarran was great, needs more entertainment, there was music but nobody was really enjoying it....I loved it!

Wir haben gesterm die Saona Tour gemacht, und wir und die anderen Gäste waren sehr glücklich über dieses schöne Erlebnis, top Organisation, sehr freundlicher Tourguide der auch recht gut deutsch sprach, die Insel Saona und der Naturpark an sich der absolute Hammer! Gerne wieder, TUI einfach Top!
