Wat te verwachten
Als je 's ochtends op pad gaat, is het nog fijner om je daarna uit te strekken op je zonnebedje. En als je dan toch onderweg bent, bekijk je Ibiza-stad en alles wat het te bieden heeft. Je hebt een paar uur aan jezelf om te shoppen, het oude fort te bekijken of neer te strijken bij een terrasje voor een kop koffie terwijl de wereld aan je voorbij trekt.Nadat we je naar Ibiza-stad hebben gebracht, heb je een paar uur om precies te doen waar je zin in hebt. Je snuffelt rond in de boetieks en traditionele winkels voor de perfecte souvenirs en designer's kleding. Of je nipt eerst van een kop koffie op een zonnig terras voordat je op pad gaat.Het oude fort midden in het centrum is ook de moeite waard, al is het alleen al voor de selfies die je maakt met de jachthaven beneden je. Om dan via de geplaveide stegen naar de haven te gaan waar we op je wachten om je terug te brengen.

The tour guide was wonderful and the town was quaint and charming. We walked around by ourselves. Hard to get lost when the Marina is so conspicuous. I love the shops and the variety of merchandise available. No regrets about this.

The bus was 25 minutes late. There was no guided tour - it literally was directions when we arrived. It was therefore less than 3 hours in old town as it was late. Basically paid 100 euros for a bus journey for a family of four for half an hour which is a lot. Would not recommend. The lady who was the ‘guide’ wa really lovely though.

Unsure of role of tour guide as she simply indicated the direction of the old town and where to get the return bus. Set off could have been earlier (and was 30 mins late) to avoid midday heat and ensure we return in time for the lunch we have already paid for. Value for money is scored low as a taxi would probably have been cheaper.

Basically a coach ride to Ibiza Town and back on coach which works out cheaper than a taxi. (About 40 mins each way). Nice surprise to found we had longer than we thought ie coach left at 1.15 pm. Guide pointed the way to old town and shopping district. Quite a lot of traffic there and back.

Great trip, a must visit. Basically a bus service to the location, nothing more. If there is more than 2 of you it might be worth getting a taxi so there is no time restraint on your visit. Definitely would go again, a lovely place.

Pick up was on time Rep explained about the pick ups en route When we got to Ibiza town she explained pick up time for return Also about go left at Cherry restaurant for Castle right to new town Cautioned on the slippy cobbles and making sure we knew to keep drinking water and keeping cool

There was always a TUI rep available when advertised. However, the trip to Ibiza town stated it was a guided tour. Apart from being on the coach, we weren’t given a guided tour at all. We were dropped off, told to the left was old town and right was new. This was our first visit so went on the tour as thought the guide would give information, show us around but it wasn’t as described and had to find our own way missing out on things. Very misleading information.

Just a lot of pick ups along the way , We were too far away to get a taxi which is my preferred option but the bus trip was the only other option . What should have been a 40 min trip was over hour and a half each way because of all the pickups

The tui guide could have gone a little further, we went in to ibiza town, but as first timers I thought our guide would have spoken over the microphone what places we was traveling through and a little about them, but nothing, I was not impressed as I would have liked to have known a little about the island we was visiting. When we booked the tour in our hotel, we thought it sounded amazing, but for the quietness of our guide, we decided it was rather alot of money, we won't do this again.

Great trip and highly recommended, only comment is re the timing. When we arrived most things were closed. Like most holiday places, shops and such like only opened from 11. So the first hour and half was largely spent walking round an empty town waiting for shops to open. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but when our time there is only 3 hours, half of that time is waiting for the town come to life and places to open. Would be much better if arrival was 10:30 /11am.

A beautiful place to visit , trip well organised and in my opinion it needs to be a bit longer as by the time you have walked up to the top, it doesn’t give you much time afterwards to look around the shops

When we arrive should be given a little map and some popular food and touristy must see spots so that we can choose from a few. The time slot needed to be a 5 hour slot and more from 10.30-3.30 as opposed to 9.30-1.30 as most places were still shut and empty and closed. As we were leaving it was livening up and staff were saying to come in to their place or restaurant or bar. The price for children and adults should offer all of the above.

Transfer met bus was ok. De gids heeft ons begeleid tot begin centrum en gezegd daar is dat en daar is dat enz. Wij hadden wel verwacht dat de gids samen met ons een stadswandeling zou doen en uitleg zou geven. De gids heeft niet veel moeten doen. Maar ja dat was haar opdracht waarschijnlijk en heeft ze niets verkeerd gedaan.

Der Ausflug war sehr schön. Fanden es im Nachhinein für knapp 30€ für nur den Transfer relativ teuer. Der Guide war ja "nur" im Bus und bei der Rückfahrt da ansonsten war man alleine unterwegs.

Resort was fantastic for families only disappointment we had was at the beach restaurant which was a fantastic experience which we paid for did not include all the drinks so if you wanted a G & T you had to walk to one of the all inclusive bars which was strange but wine and beer were included.

This is basically a coach to Ibiza town and back, you get a couple of hours there. Just be aware that it’s absolutely baking hot in the summer and it’s a lot for smaller children. We walked right up to the top of the castle from the outside and went in the church, when we walked back down we came through the old town inside the castle walls and it was really nice, shops and restaurants. Back at the bottom there’s not much else to do, basically tat shops. Worth a trip out for 1/2 day

The hotel itself was very good, food good and staff pleasant. However the reason I would deter people form go there was the lack of space and sun beds around the two very very busy pools. In the week we were there we were unable to get a sun bed around the main pool. Towels covering all of the before 9, not something my girls and I would do! Also as the pools were so busy it was impossible to swim I have been to hotels half the size with bigger pools.

A great trip just the right length to do a bit of shopping and see the castle with time to go right to the top. Would have liked to know a bit of history possibly on the way the guide could have given us an overview.

Perfect way to spend the morning! We are a family of four with a 9 and a 6 year old and it was just the right amount of time to spend exploring, shopping and getting ice cream before heading back for an afternoon in the pool! Would definitely recommend. Only downside is that it’s quite pricey in my opinion, definitely cheaper to get the water taxi from the beach but still a fab morning exploring the old town :)

De ochtend om Ibiza stad te bekijken beviel ons heel goed: de temperatuur is nog niet te hoog en de tijd die je daar door brengt was ook lang zat. Wij hebben door het moderne gedeelte gelopen en dat was leuk en goed te doen. Het oude gedeelte ligt hoog en daar moet je goede schoenen en conditie voor hebben.

We were dropped off at the bus stop by the marina. It’s then an uphill climb to Villa Dalt and the cathedral. I found this fine but wear trainers not flip flops for this. The views from the top are spectacular. I then walked around the designer shops in a square to the right of the marina after obtaining a map from tourist information. There are also tourist shops as you climb up to the top. There are some lovely yachts in the marina. Plenty of time here to see the sights.
