It’s recognised as one of Austria’s prettiest towns, thanks to its quaint, picture-perfect architecture and quiet riverside location. Tulip-yellow paintwork and wrought-iron balconies are mainstays of the houses, while vineyards and gently rising hills make for a charming backdrop. The tallest landmark is a duck-egg-blue and toothpaste-white bell tower. It belongs to a 15th-century Augustinian monastery, now the local church. You’ll have some free time to go inside and explore on your own, before heading back to your ship.
