Your guide is an expert on Renaissance art, so they’ll tell you the story of how the legendary artist crafted this piece, which is widely regarded to be artistically perfect. There’s a bunch of his other statues on show here, as well, along with paintings from the 15th century. You’ll take a break from art for a bit as you make your way to the other gallery on the itinerary, the Uffizi Gallery. The journey there takes you through the Piazza del Duomo, home to Florence’s 800-year-old cathedral, and the Piazza della Signoria, where Florence’s government is based. Finally, when you reach the Uffizi Gallery, you’ll be shown around the collection, which includes work by Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Caravaggio and more.
