Il tuo tour inizia presso la Statua della Santissima Trinità, da dove camminerai intorno alla magnifica Chiesa di Mattia, costruita nello splendido stile gotico del XV secolo. Accanto alla cattedrale puoi ammirare il Bastione dei Pescatori, una fantastica struttura da favola che offre la migliore vista sul Danubio e sul palazzo del Parlamento ungherese.Dopo una piacevole passeggiata per le antiche strade acciottolate, lascia il quartiere residenziale per recarti ai complessi del Palazzo del Presidente e del Palazzo Reale. Passeggia per i cortili e le fontane e osserva le orgogliose guardie fuori dal palazzo. Dalle terrazze reali puoi goderti le viste più spettacolari dell'altro lato della città attraverso il maestoso fiume Danubio, con vista completa dei suoi ponti principali: Ponte Margherita, Ponte delle Catene, Ponte Elisabetta e Ponte della Libertà.Dopo essere tornato dal Palazzo Reale, esplora l'altro lato del castello. Dalle mura medievali si ha una vista eccellente verso le colline di Buda, la parte occidentale della città con i suoi boschi e parchi naturali. Il tuo tour termina in seguito al punto di partenza del tour presso la Statua della Santissima Trinità, di fronte alla Chiesa di Mattia.

Our guide was excellent, the tour was well paced and she was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Group was not too big and there was plenty of opportunity to take photographs and ask questions.

Not quite what we were expecting. Guide excellent but castle not really a castle and only saw things from the outside. Meeting point a long way from ship. Tui need to be clearer about this when advertising shore excursions that are undertaken by other companies. There were a few problems experienced by other passengers on our ship due to this.

We did this tour on a very hot day after having walked around Buda before hand. The tour covered most of the outside areas at the top of the castle hill but no areas inside either the church or castle (now an art gallery). It was very informative but seemed very long for what we were looking at (only the outside of buildings) especially with already sore feet.

Our tour guide was excellent, unfortunately the Chinese dictator was visiting so much of the area including Fisherman’s Bastion was closed off. Nothing she could do about it. She personally walked us partway down the hill so we could find transportation. Much appreciated.

Good value . Well informed guide. Travel to the venue ..Walk (long) ....Tram and bus.......Taxi...Taxi expensive for the journey back. Lots of reconstruction work going on. The 'Old ' places you see are not as old as they seem (Neo Gothic) or reconstructed. Nice views.

A very knowlegable guide took us round the castle and city by coach and on foot. She really brought home both the beautiful architecture and history of the city and country under it's various rulers and occupiers and opened our eyes to the privations which Hungary suffered under the Russians.
