De 2 de dag viel erg tegen en betaal je veel extra in verhouding met wat je krijgt. Om 13 uur was alles afgelopen en maar liefst tot 17 uur moeten wachten voor we terug vlogen. Zonder uitleg oid

Ein fantastischer Ausflug! Nach pünktlicher Abholung am Hotel um 4h und einem 30 min Flug im Propellerflugzeug nach Mwaseni standen schon die Jeeps bereit. Unser guter Fahrer zeigte uns schon bis zum Mittag aus unmittelbarer Nähe alle Tiere (Löwinnen, Elefantenherden, Giraffen, Zebras, Flusspferde, Antilopen, Wasserbüffel, Vögel …). Um ca 15/16h fuhren wir zu wunderschönen Bungalows. Der 2. Tag mit Bootstour war als einziges Boot auf dem Fluss ein Genuss, weil wir sehr nah an die Hippos kamen.

The safari drive and Bush walk were fantastic - 10/10. The river boat tour was a pointless drive around a lake on a boat that stunk of diesel. The luxury lodge was no luxury: 2 stars at best. No ectricity or hot water. We had to take a torch to dinner and were then escorted back to our hut at 7.30 where we had to go to bed as there was nothing else to do in the pitch black and we were not allowed to sit outside because of the animals. Due to the accomidation this trip was not worth the money.

Upgraded accommodation greatly appreciated. Staff and facilities were awesome. A very memorable 60th birthday. Game viewing was phenomenal, saw everything on the first day land safari. Boat safari - would have preferred another land safari instead. Felt the boat safari was OK, but maybe the break on the river bank could include coffee/tea/biscuits, otherwise no point in getting off the boat midway as nothing to see...wasted time.

It was an amazing experience. All on time, and smooth journey. Saw animals from as soon as we got off the plane at the air strip. Full day safari drive in a jeep was amazing, saw lots of animals and the guide was really good. Mostly jeeps were for 6 people so felt like a nice personal experience. The overnight accommodation site was charming with nice service and food. The room was nice, only criticism was the bathroom was partitioned by a curtain that didn’t close properly so not very private.

Jätte dålig tur med båt dag två. Helt onödig tittade på samma ödlor i 2 timmar . Hade sett att man fick Safari två dagar då vi inte såg alla djur första dagen. Stod inte tydligt alls när vi bokad e att de skulle vara så. Även turen med massajerna va dålig. Väldigt tråkig för våra barn.

Pour ce qui est du Safari, c’était incroyable ! Guide et chauffeur au top ! Par contre, dans le lodge, la piscine était à l’abandon alors que le représentant TUI, nous vantait une piscine agréable… Le confort du lodge est plus que rudimentaire, moustiquaires trop petites laissait tout. Mais repas excellent. Pas prévenu qu’il y avait une promenade guidée dans la savane avec baskets indispensables.

Really enjoyed the experience of the safari and how well the guides spotted animals, really enjoyed our accommodation but the aircon wasn’t working so it was as comfortable as we would have liked

Een super leuk programma en waar voor je geld! Bij aankomst in Selous stonden de jeeps al meteen klaar en zijn we een volledige dag in het park geweest. Ontbijt en lunch ook in het park en eind van de dag incheck in de Lodge die ook goed was. 2 zwembaden en heel leuk opgezet. Volgende dag Bush walk met gids en nog een bootsafari. Daarna nog even relaxen bij het zwembad en weer teruggevlogen. Leuke ervaring ook met zo’n klein vliegtuigje waar zo’n 25p in kunnen. Bij twijfel echt doen!

The overall trip is amazing from the unique flight to the mainland landing on a mud airstrip. The park is huge and you get to see a variety of animals and scenery. Some moments really are breathtaking. Don't be put off by the long drive in on the main road. Once you head off the side tracks you get the real safari experience. The flight is fun but the terminal is abit of a free for all with so many tourists not really knowing what or where to go. Just relax until they call your flight.

Die Safari ist ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Die Reise ist komplett durchgeplant und super für afrikanische Verhältnisse organisiert. Dennoch trüben manche Sachen die Tour wie der Flughafen in Sansibar. Die Angestellten suchen fadenscheinige Gründe das etwas nicht mitgenommen werden kann und möchten dadurch ein Bestechungsgeld auf der Rückreise ein ähnliches Spiel dort wird wieder die Krankenversicherung abgefragt die viele der Reisenden nicht mitgenommen hat und auch hier durch ein "Tip" Einreise

Variëteit aan dieren gezien, prima lunch in de bush en mooi camp. Alleen jammer dat door vermoedelijk bouwvakkers/wegwerkers plastic flessen buiten het camp in de natuur worden achtergelaten

All staff encountered couldn't do enough for us. Not suitable for anyone with disabilities or mobility issues as journey on vehicle very bumpy and arduous also no toilet facilities as you would expect on game drive. Food very basic and no air conditioning in lodge was a challenge. However very exciting, saw many of the animals we wanted to see and more. Learnt so much about the culture and ways of life of the people of a Tanzania, including Masai, saw beautiful scenery. A trip to remember.

Der erste Tag war wirklich perfekt , unser Guide hat sich große Mühe gegeben uns alles über das Land und die Tiere zu erklären. Wir hatten das Glück einige Tiere zu sehen. Der zweite Tag hätte morgens ruhig mit einer kurzen pirschfahrt starten können, die Bootssafari hätten wir nicht gebraucht. Es war zwar ganz interessant aber eine Prischfahrt ganz früh am Morgen hätte vmtl mehr Sinn gehabt. Es waren am zweiten Tag auch zu viele „Wartezeiten“ dazwischen.

Lite mera info gällande transport att man sitter i bilen hela dag ett och att man går till fots och åker båt dag två . Bra att få veta hur lång tid varje tripp tar . Bra att det delades ut vatten under färden . Bra guide. Frågar om man mår bra under resan .

We throughly enjoyed this experience. We loved the full day safari tour and accommodation on the first day and were made to feel very welcome and relaxed with food and drinks after a long day. The guides and staff are very friendly and full of knowledge and the second day bush walk and boat safari was just as good and enjoyable and we are very grateful for all of the service received in such a wonderful and restful place. `Thank you to the Selous Game reserve, its really a special place.

Fantastic time and would highly recommend. Really great way of getting to see loads of different animals. First day is game safari and second day is bush walk and water safari. We loved it! The lodge we stayed in was fantastic too.

Die Safari war wirklich super und kann ich so nur weiter empfehle. Toll geplant und organisiert. Leider haben wir vor der Safari überhaupt keine Informationen erhalten und sind dementsprechend „blind“ in das Erlebniss gestartet. Ohne jemand anderen der die Safari bereits gemacht hat wäre es garnicht möglich gewesen da uns nicht mal mitgeteilt wurde das wir unseren Reisepass mitnehmen müssen. Erlebnis toll, Service von TUI leider sehr mäßig

Die Safari und Fahrt auf dem River waren toll. Am Abreusetag sollten wir um 6 Uhr aufstehen damit wir um 7 Uhr eine Buschgang mitmachen sollten.Dann haben wir nach der River Safari von 11-15 Uhr in der Lodge verbracht.Wir sind davon ausgegangen das Nachmittags nochmal eine Safari startet.

Eine Erfahrung die wir nicht missen wollen. Am 1. Tag mit dem Landrover durch den Nationalpark war unser Highlight. Der Fahrer war bemüht uns so viele Tiere wie möglich zu zeigen. Der 2. Tag mit der Bootsafari war nicht mehr so spektakulär, ein leicht bitterer Beigeschmack war für uns, die Info dass wir in ein einheimisches Dorf gehen. Auf das waren wir nicht vorbereitet und war uns auch etwas unangenehm. Trotz allem ein Ausflug den man auf jeden Fall gemacht haben muss, wenn man in Sansibar ist

Everything was out of this world! The game drive, the river cruise, the staff, the tribes men, the journey across from Zanzibar to Tanzania. The only thing that I can say that wasn't perfect was being told last minute we were going to visit a local village, no problem with the visit but we had local children coming over to us and we had nothing to give, no sweets, no food, no toys, nothing as this wasn't advertised to us at the time of booking.

Die gesamte Organisation war super. Unser Fahrer am 1. Tag ist mit uns quer durch das Reservat gefahren um uns möglichst viele Tiere zu zeigen. Es war einfach grandios. Der 2. Tag mit Dschungelwanderung und Bootsafari war nicht mehr ganz so spektakulär. Das Essen im Camp war landestypisch und geschmackvoll. Lediglich die Übernachtung in einer Buschhütte war nicht so gut. Es roch muffig. Strom/Wasser war nur von 17.00-07.00 Uhr verfügbar. Trotz allem super empfehlenswert.

De eerste dag was geweldig (2x game tour), veel dieren gezien en genoeg gelegenheden gehad om daar leuke foto's van te maken. De tweede dag was een bootrip over de rivier en een bezoek aan een dorpje. deze dag was betrekkelijk saai en had voor ons achteraf niet gehoeven.
