Molto prima che i greci o i romani prendessero in mano un mattone, in India esistevano templi magnifici. Viaggiando nell'autentico modo indiano, vi recherete in treno ad Hampi per scoprire uno dei suoi siti storici più preziosi: l'antica città di Vijayanagar. In questo tour di tre giorni vi aspettano villaggi graziosi, verde e storia.L'avventura inizia con un viaggio in treno, una vera esperienza locale. Costeggiando il fiume Tungabhadra, potrete ammirare splendide vedute del terreno roccioso prima di fermarvi ad Hampi. Da lì, vi dirigerete verso il sito di Vijayanagar, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO.Un tempo ricco regno indù, è ricco di palazzi e monumenti fatiscenti che avrete molto tempo libero per esplorare. Tra le gemme spiccano i pilastri musicali in pietra del tempio di Vitthala e il tempio di Virupaksha. Dedicato alla dea indù Vishnu, vanta una torre alta 50 metri utilizzata ancora oggi per il culto. You need to warn clients that they will lose 2 days of their vacation, which they will spend on the road! I lost my dinner, which was paid for in my independent hotel because Hampi was omitted, I had to spend extra money! Due to the train delay, we had to hire another transport to get back to GOA, which again required additional costs! Talking to others from our group, I found out that your price is higher than online from other companies! But, Hampi itself was cool, of course, if you are nearby

Excellent

We were well looked after and Hampi was fabulous and fascinating. Not impressed with the hotel in Hospete (different to the one advertised) and not enough free time in Hampi itself. We had a very long delay on the train journey home so I would only recommend this trip if you have 3 weeks plus in Goa, and also you need to be resilient for the India Railway experience. We still loved our guides and Hampi.

Great

The middle day at Hampi was outstanding, and made even better by both the 3 day guide and the local Hampi guide. The rail journey of 8 hours each way on a local Indian train and the mobility issues around Hampi need to be better emphasised pre-sale to highlight the obvious issues. The TUI rep should do this trip at least annually if not already the case to provide current and up to date info. Consider selling the train journey (experience)as part of the trip rather than the method to get there!

Excellent

The Rep from TUI who looked after us was fantastic . The guide in Hampi was fab as well . Train journey was an experience but that’s real India . Toilets I didn’t like and the delay of 4and 1/2 hours delay on train but can’t be helped . Overall fantastic trip .

Excellent

Amazing experience. Hampi was like nothing we’d ever seen before and has to be visited to be appreciated. Our guides were excellent. The train journey was an experience, be prepared for a long hot journey (8hrs each way), but one you’ll never forget - you will be in amongst it and not in some cushy first class carriage. Also be prepared for it to be tiring as well, with v early starts. More info in advance of the itinerary would be helpful, but this was well worth it.
