Cosa aspettarsi
Osservare da vicino la vita locale di Khao Lak vi ricompensa con una comprensione culturale più profonda in questo tour vario. Incontrerete la gente del posto, imparerete un po' di thai boxe e sarete benedetti dai monaci buddisti. Poi scambiate la cultura con la natura con un pranzo in spiaggia e una visita a un centro di recupero delle tartarughe. Malee, una delle nostre esperte guide locali, dice: "Vi divertirete a imparare le mosse della Thai Boxe, ma lo scopo originale della Muay Thai non era il divertimento. È nata secoli fa, quando l'esercito ha sviluppato tattiche di combattimento sul campo per il combattimento disarmato. Queste antiche tecniche di combattimento si sono poi evolute nello sport popolare che conosciamo oggi".In questo tour si tratta di conoscere il lato autentico della Thailandia. Per prima cosa, ci fermeremo nella scuola locale per vedere come i bambini thailandesi svolgono la loro routine mattutina. Poi si prosegue verso un tempio per offrire ai monaci buddisti una piccola donazione in cambio di un buon karma e di un braccialetto sacro. C'è tempo anche per dare un'occhiata al colorato tempio e scattare qualche foto.Dopo la calma del tempio, alzeremo il ritmo e proveremo i calci e i pugni potenti della Muay Thai boxe in una palestra. Dopo tanta azione, sarete pronti per un pranzo tipico thailandese presso il ristorante della cascata di Sai Rung. Avrete un po' di tempo per riflettere al Memoriale dello Tsunami, prima di una sorpresa speciale: la possibilità di conoscere gli elefanti di un vicino santuario sul mare. Concluderete la giornata con una visita al centro di recupero e riabilitazione delle tartarughe per conoscere il loro lavoro.

La scuola locale sarà chiusa dal 25 marzo al 16 maggio, quindi visiterete la Fondazione dell'Orfanotrofio come alternativa, mentre dal 1° aprile al 10 aprile visiterete il memoriale dello tsunami.

Wir hatten praktisch eine Privattour mit 4 Personen. Unser Guide Mike hat uns sehr viel über Land und Leute erzählt und natürlich auch über die entsprechenden Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Tour war sehr interessant und kurzweilig. Auch unser Fahrer Mr. Palm war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

De gids en de chauffeur zijn geweldig. Als iemand je wat kan vertellen over het land de dieren en religie dan moet je bij haar zijn. Heel erg gedreven om ons iets te kunnen vertellen. Nogmaals bedankt jullie twee.

Great day, nice being local too so although it was full on it wasn’t too long a day. Such a nice experience especially being bless by monks. Tour guide, Pookie was lovely and spoke very good English.

Wer etwas Kultur, etwas über den einheimischen Kampfsport erfahren/ausprobieren möchte, und schöne Orte zu Gesicht bekommen will, sowie auch Tiere liebt ist hier genau Richtig. Super informativ, abwechslungsreich, und man fühlt sich wohl. Einfach ein super Ausflug.

Die Tour war schön bis auf den Besuch eines Kinderheims. Wir fanden das die Kinder tressiert wurden uns zu gefallen,sie kamen direkt auf uns zu haben die Hand genommen und nicht mehr los gelassen, wollten nur auf den Arm oder uns umarmen. Ich habe selbst Kinder und kenne viele Familien mit Kindern ,aber noch nie habe ich erlebt das Kinder so zutraulich auf fremde Erwachsene zugehen. Das wirkte schon sehr einstudiert und hat uns nicht gefallen. Dieses Verhalten ist für Kinder nicht normal

The Buddhist temple blessing wasn't as I thought. It was done at a plastic table,plastic seats outside and in a group. The best parts were the lunch served in a river and making food and feeding the elephants.

Dejlig tur. Vi fik ikke brug for badetøj, men vandresko til turen til vandfald. Måske skulle I tilføje dette.

I would check people’s mobility we had an elderly lady on our trip who wasn’t very mobile so the trip had to be tailored to her needs which meant that our experience was different

Reiseleiter Dong (?) großartig! Informiert mit viel Witz und ist sehr engagiert! Jederzeit würden wir wieder eine Tour mit ihm buchen. Die Tour war auch inhaltlich absolut toll zusammengestellt. Gerade wenn man wie ich zum ersten Mal in Thailand ist, lohnt sich diese Tour!

I enjoyed the trip but I was extremely disappointed that due a national holiday there was no trip to the school or the museum This should have been mentioned at the time of the booking. I thought the guide was really good and it was value for money but I wouldn’t have booked if I would have known there was no trip to the local school I was really looking forward to it.

Der Reiseleiter sowie der Fahrer waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Reiseleiter konnte alle Fragen beantworten und hat von sich aus viele interessante Informationen über Land Leute und Religion erzählt.

Die Reise war sehr kurzweilig. Der Reiseleier „ DONG „ sprach sehr gut Deutsch und war sehr engagiert im Umgang mit seinen Teilnehmern. Alles war harmonisch und schon fast Privat. Auf alle Fragen hatte er eine Antwort. Auch sein Fahrer passte sehr gut ins Team. Ich kann die Reise und den Reiseführer bestens weiterempfehlen. Hat er super gemacht .!!!

The temple blessing with the monk was good. Thai Boxing was very fun. The Tsunami police boat was informative and sad as you would expect but important to see. The elephant feeding was fun. The turtle sanctuary was good to see. We ended up going to an orphanage, the facility we stopped at was fine and the children looked ok but we were sat in front of them whilst they were sat on the floor, being at the back while they did a class for instance would have been much nicer, it felt really wrong.

We werden veel te vroeg opgehaald, waardoor we overal te vroeg aankwamen. De school was gesloten, het weeshuis waar we dan naar toe zouden gaan was ook dicht ivm een feestdag. De monnik moesten ze opbellen want was er niet, de tempel was nog dicht dus hebben we niet bezocht. Zelfs de gids het gevraagd om later te vertrekken, maar mocht niet. Dus al met al te duur voor deze trip.

For the waterfall visit, we were told there would be somewhere we could change into our swimming costumes, but when we got there there wasn’t. At the restaurant where we had lunch the toilets were disgusting. There was a lack of opportunities to visit the toilet during the first part of the day. Otherwise the trip was great.
