Cosa aspettarsi
Circondarsi di bellezze naturali durante una crociera fluviale da Dalyan è un ottimo modo per rilassarsi. La destinazione è una delle spiagge più incontaminate della Turchia, con soste ai bagni di fango e a un ristorante lungo il fiume. Ceren, una delle nostre guide locali, dice: "La spiaggia di Iztuzu è anche conosciuta come la spiaggia delle tartarughe, perché qui nidificano le tartarughe marine in via di estinzione. È un luogo magico con pochissime interferenze umane". Negli anni '80 la spiaggia era destinata a essere sviluppata con nuovi resort, ma per fortuna la conservazione è stata privilegiata".Navigate lungo il fiume Dalyan su una barca ecologica, che non danneggia la vita marina, e divertitevi a spalmare l'argilla anti-età nei bagni di fango. È ottimo per rendere la pelle più luminosa e si ritiene che Cleopatra vi abbia fatto visita per farsi coccolare dal fango liquido ricco di minerali. Concludete con un tuffo nella calda piscina sulfurea prima di attraversare il fiume per un pranzo a base di piatti locali preparati al momento. Aggiungerete poi un po' di storia e cultura al mix, proseguendo sulla barca fluviale e passando accanto alle tombe rupestri licie - risalenti al 400 a.C. - scavate nelle scogliere.Quando il fiume si allarga in una laguna, avrete la possibilità di osservare gli uccelli prima di attraccare alla spiaggia di Iztuzu. Questa striscia di sabbia dorata lunga 4 km divide il fiume dal mare, un'oasi naturale che è un vero rifugio per la fauna selvatica. Riparata dalle montagne, la spiaggia degrada dolcemente in una baia tranquilla, dove vi aspetta un pomeriggio di puro relax. Concludete la giornata con una rilassante crociera fluviale di ritorno a Dalyan.

Fantastic trip and incredible value for money. Advice. It's a long 2 hour coach journey so be prepared. Take your flip flops to the mud bath. Lot's of painful stones when walking between treatments. Showers/hose down are cold. You won't see many or any turtles in November. Positive. Great guide, basic but lovely meal, stunning river wild life, invigorating treatments, unbelievable tombs and wonderful secluded beach. Incredible value for money

We really enjoyed hearing about the ancient tombs. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The mud bath was pointless first thing in the morning in october as it was absolutely freezing and from the description expected it to be at the end of the tour when the sun was out. The river tour was lovely. Not enough time at the beach and 2 hour transfer on a bus each way was too long. This should be made clear when booking.

The trip itself is good, although the boat ride could have been made much shorter if the boat picked up the speed just a little bit. The main disappointment is that we had to travel to the boat for 1,5 hrs (and same time back) however there were boats departing to the same destination a 20 min walk from our hotel. Had we known, we wouldn’t have purchased from tui and used a local provider. Also the toilets on the way back weren’t free and no free water even during lunch which was mediocre

Beautiful scenery, beach is really lovely. Food was nice. Experience of mud was good, was busy. Unfortunately photographer was very busy so being a solo traveller was not able to prove my experience. Lovely day only downside is alot of travelling from marmaris to boat and to beach.

A great day out. Our guide, Genghis, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The transfers were smooth, and the mud bath and thermal spring were incredible. It was an early start to the day, but it did mean we beat the crowds at every stop! We spent some time turtle spotting and did manage a sighting, and then another one during swim time at Turtle Beach. The lunch was nice, if a little basic. You were expected to buy your soft drinks on the boat, which proved expensive on a very hot day.

The sights we saw were amazing. Tui should advise how long the coach transfer to the boat is 1hr 20 mins should be mentioned. Also the fact that no drinks were included is fine but to not be allowed to rake your own drinks is terrible, as a family of four we spent an absolute fortune staying hydrated. When we had bottles of water with us that we were not allowed to drink.

We thought at first it was quite expensive but for what we got throughout the day it was worth every penny enjoyed the whole day tour quite gave us a lot of informative information all the way looked after our bags was very professional the only thing we didn’t like really was we got wrong for taking the large bottle of water which was bought from the bar beside the mud bath but when we went for food he was quite abrupt toilets before bus had to pay we had no money lovely tor guide payed for us

Excellent from start to finish. Would have loved an extra hour on the beach but there was just so much to see and do. Viewing the turtles was amazing and the mud bath was such a unique experience. Transportation felt safe and the driver was excellent - thank you. Would thoroughly recommend this excursion :)

Guide friendly. Nice relaxing day with equal time given to activities. Particularly liked cruise to turtle island. Down sides..Blue crab stop was horrible. Guide held up a DEAD crab from the tank as an example to show how beautiful they are. Whole experience here seemed a bit inhumane! Food was ok but the toilet facilities at the venue were beyond disgusting..smell horrendous. I would recommend this trip however as plus points were great. We were an hour late back to hotel.

Reading the description, I thought that 'drinks not included' meant alcoholic (my perception and therefore my fault), I do think water should be included to make sure people are hydrated. Also an obvious one with the mud baths to bring towels (we didn't, but our fault again) We loved the experience and Jengis, our tour guide, was brilliant. Be patient on the boat and you will get to see turtles.

Great day out with plenty to see & do. Safety measures could be improved when disembarking from boat. Another passenger fell when going from boat to jetty resulting in a deep cut to the arm and grazes & bruises to the head and a leg.

The river was beautiful- exceeded expectations and so peaceful, also the turtle watching was a highlight. The beach was a bit crowded, not like the pictures but very safe for swimming and the cafe etc were reasonably priced. The mud bath was fun and seeing the tombs beautiful also. The only downside was the long journey there, perhaps a short stop somewhere on the way would break it up? We loved it overall and would recommend. It was one of the best days of our holiday.

Guide was great at adjusting day to take account of the time, queues and what we might enjoy. Certainly he had a great sense of humour!. We even got to see the turtles. I would however have liked to have known before arriving on holiday that this venture was repeated as a last day event to get closer to the airport. Housekeeping could be improved, water, tea and coffee not replenished, bear minimum done daily. Loved the bands on Sat and Wed. Sunday entertainment was shockingly bad. DJ’s were good but there was no interaction with the audience. Staff very helpful, setting is amazing, love the fact there is a quiet pool separated from the activity pool. Would definitely come back

Overall very good excursion. Our guide was excellent very knowledgeable and clearly cares and loves what he does. Boats were fine, drinks were cheaper on boat than they were at restaurant or beach. Food at restaurant was nice and better than expected having read other reviews. Boat trip and mud bath were fine and tombs were interesting and beach was fine. Just felt like it was a very long day in the end.

The guide was very knowledgable and full of interesting information. The food was good for lunch. The whole day was fantastic, we felt in safe hands and informed about what was happening all day. The place is an amazing experience, just a shame we didnt get to see many turtles this day. It was expensive but worth it for the professional tour, plenty others run this trip much cheaper but this one cares for the environment using a silent boat with minimal impact on the wildlife.

Staff and our Gide especially were informative and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed during our trip to relax. Having a local guide meant that we got told about the local area we were passing and any landmarks/features of note which I liked. (Genghis was his name I think pronounced Jenghis). Good value for money I thought as we done multiple experiences as part of this experience we selected. Lunch was good and great scenery along the Dalyan River & Turtle Beach.

Me and my sister booked onto the Dalyan boat trip last minute, for the price we were looking forward to the range of activities included. We were amazed overall by the friendliness of staff, the detail and history given by the guide, they also kept it light and entertaining, the mud bath and viewing the turtles was the highlight of our trip, and we would definitely recommend to others!

The Mud bath was a little more engineered and felt rushed given the space, the sulphur spring is more the attraction here. The food was nice, but had the feeling of being hurded in and out school cafeteria - rather than taking more time to enjoy at any table and take in the atmosphere. Other than that a great experience

Loved the mud bath and hot springs experience. The guide was lovely and the transport worked well. Lunch was really nice but please bring money for drinks. On the bad side we were freezing most of the day so please recommend people layer up if it’s not summer. The boat trip was really boring and the turtle beach was not impressive. Only saw one turtle by sheer luck. I think this part of the trip was mis-sold. Overall I’m sure at the right time of year this would be a great trip but not in April!

We really enjoyed the activities on this tour. The mud bath (you'll need your swimming costume), the Necropolis, Kournos and turtle beach were all really worth seeing. Lunch was well made and tasty. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the day fun. There was a good mix of activities and chilling time and we came away feeling we'd absorbed some Turkish culture and had a good day out.

Our guide was fantastic, his knowledge on the Turkish history was phenomenal. And he made the knowledge really interesting. The mud baths were a great experience, made my skin feel great. Then lunch . Very tasty. Back on the boat to pass the Lycian tombs carved into the rocks and into Kaunos . We had a good walk around the ruins and took some beautiful pics and to the turtle beach where we saw them swimming next to our boat. Definitely worth the money.

The room was a good size with a very large bed, though the view from our room was not that great as itwas of the main road, but not the end of the world though. Everything in the room was fine though the fridge never really got cold. The hotel was very roomy with a nice pool and backed onto the sea, the entertainment in the evenings was very good considering we went in September but stopped at 11pm, but some of the acts were first class. The choice of food was amazing with lots freshly cooked.

Amazing experience. Beautiful river views, well worth the trip. We had tasty lunch in one of the Riverside restaurants. Tour guide was the best. Boat driver was very skilled and friendly. Tractor ride was fun. This trip is must do if you are in marmaris. We saw plenty of carreta caretta turtles.

A very interesting event filled day that was enjoyed by my family (Grandad, Granny, Mum, Dad and 2 Grandchildren aged 8 & 6). The guide was very knowledgeable of the numerous sights visited and was able to keep us all interested in an entertaining manner. The lunch that was provided was very good and the children particularly enjoyed the visit to Turtle Beach to see the turtles. Overall an excellent day out and a great way to see and explore some of the wonderful sights.
