La Tower Bridge Experience vi offre l'opportunità di esplorare il Tower Bridge come un monumento vivente del passato di Londra, attraverso video, display interattivi e mostre individuali. Percorrete le passerelle panoramiche sul nuovo spettacolare pavimento in vetro, ammirando la capitale – la Cattedrale di St. Paul, Canary Wharf, il Greenwich marittimo e il London Eye – dall'alto di questo celebre ponte vittoriano. Da non perdere anche le sale macchine vittoriane, dove potrete ammirare le macchine a vapore originali che un tempo sollevavano i bilici del ponte. I suoni e gli odori vi trasporteranno indietro nel tempo, mentre un affascinante ascensore virtuale del ponte vi svelerà come i bilici si sollevino ancora oggi per permettere alle navi di passare sotto le passerelle. Per completare l'esperienza, una mostra creata in collaborazione con il Southwark Arts Forum e da artisti della comunità locale esplora il tema "Maree of Change".
Cosa ricordare
Il terzo sabato di ogni mese, il Tower Bridge apre le porte anticipatamente per chi preferisce spazi più tranquilli, come persone con autismo, sindrome di Asperger e ansia, nonché per i loro fratelli, familiari e tutori. L'ingresso al Tower Bridge è chiuso dalle 9:30 alle 11:50.

At the beginning we were a bit unsure of what we had to do/see exactly, and there wasn't many staff to ask, so we just followed the signs and it got quite clear just by reading the signs as we walked up the stairs. All the information on the walls was very interesting. The engine area was interactive and self-explanatory. Amusement for kids was great. Plus we were extremely lucky as the bridge opened while we were visiting and managed to see it from the glass flooring at 63mts high. Amazing!

Wartezeiten waren ok. Mitarbeiter waren überwiegend freundlich. Die Yeoman Warders Führung war zwar beeindruckend, jedoch für den nicht perfekt britisch/englisch sprechenden Besucher sehr schwer nachvollziehbar. Der kostenpflichtige Audioguide war eine bessere Alternative! Das Menü des Audioguides war grds. super und auch vollumfänglich Informativ, sofern der Guide denn technisch funktioniert hätte. Bei dem einen war die Lautstärke defekt, beim anderen das Kabel...insgesamt trotzdem toll.

Superleuk om te doen.Wees er op tijd bij,maar niet te vroeg,je wordt echt aan de tijd gehouden die op je kaartje staat. Voor kleuters van 4 is het ook heel leuk,vergeet niet de stempels te verzamelen.

Splendida esperienza. Il percorso totale è di circa 1 ora, con tante spiegazioni e tante foto da fare.
Abbiamo dovuto aspettare circa 10 minuti oltre l'orario di prenotazione per troppo affollamento.
Importante utilizzare le scale e non l'ascensore per non perdere i vari livelli delle Tower.

Nervig die Wartezeiten am Eingang. Inhaltlich interessant, insbesondere der begehbare Glasboden ganz oben im Brückenelement. Da muss man einfach rüber und runter schauen.

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis da oben und eine herrliche Aussicht. Auch der Glasboden, an dem man auch vorbei gehen kann, ist prima. Die Entstehung der Towerbridge wurde durch Fotos und Text (engl.) ausgestellt. In den beiden Gängen gibt es kleine Fenster zum Öffnen und Fotografieren.

We chose to take the stairs, so many historical facts along the way and the best advice given by a staffer, take your time. The stairs may seem daunting (recovering knee surgery and arthritis!) however, by taking it slowly, resting at platforms, it was an amazing experience

The experience was great , the only issue was no female assigned toilet available despite two male toilets. Women had to ho out of tge building to find the pump room ( no signage) we gave up looking and went to Starbucks loos near by that were disgusting, addressing the loo situation is a must .

Ik raad het iedereen aan om een ticket voor een bezienswaardigheid in Londen VOORAF online te boeken. Je hoeft dan niet in de rij bij de kassa te staan en hoef je deze alleen nog maar te verzilveren. Veel plezier!
