Cosa aspettarsi
Non sono solo le spiagge incontaminate e le acque azzurre a rendere Alanya così speciale. Inizierete con un viaggio in funivia fino al Castello di Alanya, vi addentrerete nelle profondità della Grotta di Dim e pranzerete sulle rive del fiume Dim. Ahmet, una delle nostre esperte guide locali, dice: "Ogni regione della Turchia ha una propria tradizione, ma ad Alanya ne abbiamo una piuttosto speciale, che costituisce un ottimo souvenir. Essicciamo le bucce delle zucche e le intagliano per farne lampade e paralumi unici dipinti a mano".Inizieremo con un emozionante viaggio in funivia sulla scogliera e torneremo indietro nel tempo al Castello di Alanya. Risalente al XIII secolo, questa cittadella vanta mura difensive, viste panoramiche sulla terra e sul mare e una splendida posizione in cima alla scogliera. Poi scopriremo le usanze locali e assisteremo alla trasformazione di una zucca in una lanterna, prima di recarci sulle rive del fiume Dim per un pranzo al sacco. Ahmet dice: "Il Dim è una destinazione popolare per le gite in famiglia in estate, perché l'acqua è sempre fresca, perfetta per una remata in una giornata calda".Dopo pranzo, vi addentrerete nella grotta di Dim, dove entrerete in un mondo di stalattiti e stalagmiti spettacolari. Concluderemo il tour con una gita in barca lungo la costa per ammirare da una nuova prospettiva il castello sulla scogliera di Alanya. Il promontorio roccioso su cui sorge il castello è circondato su tre lati dall'acqua e le sue mura merlate sembrano nascere dalla roccia stessa.

There was so much included in the price, great value for money. The cable car, boat trip and cave were fantastic. A bit more time at the castle would have been good as we had to queue for over 20 mins to get back down, which took up a lot of our time. Also we didn't get to see a squash lamp being made as advertised. Our guide and driver were very friendly. Overall, a great way to see alanya from so many different perspectives.

Guide was excellent however the description of the trip needs to be updated to highlight how physical the day was. It is not suitable for young children or people with arthritis etc. It was a long day we were both exhausted because of all the stairs

The guide was great, transport was clean and modern. Very interesting and well paced tour overall. The lunch venue was fun but the food was not very exciting and felt very touristy in a ‘tourist trap’ kind of way.

Really great trip and very well organised. The amount of time at the castle was perfect to wander around, the pirate boat was great and the lunch spot was lovely with very nice food. The trip to the local shops after lunch was a really lovely addition to the day with great products on offer

This was a great trip with lots packed into the day. The views at and from the castle are great. The cave visit was really good. The boat tour around the castle promontory was short but enough to enjoy the experience and to see some nice views, including some pirate caves. The picnic lunch was a buffet with some lovely food, including vegetarian choices. Although not mentioned on the website, we heard swimwear should be taken as you can take a dip in the refreshingly cold water of the River Dim!

Great experience, the tour guide was informative & friendly. The views from the castle are amazing, lunch by the river Dim was lovely and a much needed dip in the ice cold river was needed. Beautiful place to visit. We stopped off at a village shop and tasted apple and pomegranate tea which was delicious. Its a long day end to end in the heat but worth it if you want to see some beautiful places.

Excellent tour and very well organised from start to finish. Learnt a lot about Turkey which was an added extra fir us on our first visit. Unfortunately for us there were lots and lots of steps which we were not aware of. Especially lunch which had many steps down to the eating area. There was no lift. We left 10 minutes early to get back up in time. The caves also had many steps so we just completed a small part of it. Boat trip was lovely and we loved the range of boats . Short trip but really

If using the same restaurant let people know there is an opportunity to swim. The cave has a lot of steps and van be slippery make sure people are warned.

Interesting day, enjoyed the castle and caves, the fruit stop was fun! Loved the restaurant on the river and the freezing cold water! Boat trip was ok, seemed to wait a long time for other coaches to join, lots of loud music and not enough spaces to sit down. The boat didn’t actually go very far and was a bit disappointing.

Compliments to our guide she was knowledgeable and professional. The tour went beyond our initial expections. We were never rushed and had enough time at each location to embrace the surroundings. The views from the castle were extreme, caves and finished with the boat trip. Lunch is included however take cash for drinks. We'll worth the price.

Brilliant trip from start to finish. Walking around the castle ruins, looking at the amazing views across Alanya, then sailing around the castle. On to lunch in a river was quite an experience. Lunch was buffet style and was good. Desserts were lovely but had to pay for those. Visit to lamp maker was fascinating. Visit to fruit farmer was surprisingly interesting as he made his own juices. The caves were stunning! Beware there are lots of steps up and down throughout the cave. Rep was brilliant!

Multiple activities during the day. Seeing the castle, driving through Alanya’s city, going for a pirate like boat trip, having lunch in exciting setting and going into the cave… I had some concerns it will be too much for my 4 and 6 yrs old kids but they’ve done very well. We’ve all really enjoyed the day out.

Guiden som talade engelska var trevlig och engagerad. Då det blev storm på havet och vi inte kunde få båtturen som ingick försökte han göra det bästa av situationen. Gav tips om shopping och fanns i närheten under en timme. Jag bodde nära hamnen i Alanya, att rekommendera. Lite märkligt att den enda svenska kontakten med Tui var genom en person som ringde från Palma. Men hon var trevlig. Hade varit bra att veta att det finns två terminaler då min transport släppte av mej på fel.

The trip was lovely, we enjoyed it all. I wouldnt recommend if you cant handle alot of stairs. The boat trip was really nice. One issue was that there was no drinks included we wasnt expecting fanta or coke but there was no water available. Otherwise great trip.

It was a fun packed day the only thing that I was a little bit unhappy about is that I thought it was for 12+ and there were children on this excursion which was a bit frustrating as it was a long day for them and it did start to affect us .

The castle was great to see and listening to the history is amazing. The stops in between were also surprisingly good. Word of warning about the cave though, the lighting is poor so you need to be careful with all the stairs of which their are lots, it is also incredibly humid so you will come back out wet. Saying that the cave was interesting and something different to see.
