Zante Turtle Spotting Boat Cruise

Cruise Zante's waters in search of her most famous residents – loggerhead sea turtles. These graceful creatures have been nesting on the island's beaches for thousands of years but, sadly, they're now a rare and endangered species.Cast out to sea, you'll start by sailing towards Marathonisi, a pine-clad islet nicknamed ‘Turtle Island'. The reason's simple – one of its beaches is a favourite nesting site. Keep an eye out for loggerheads and for dolphins, too. You'll stop at a sea cave for a refreshing dip in the blue waters, before anchoring near Marathonisi for a spot of snorkelling.What's more, conservation group Archellon will be on board to tell you about their work. The tour comes to an end at Agios Sostis port, where you'll disembark.
