Ein wirklich schöner Ausflug. Was doch aus meiner Sicht nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist, ist das Fahrzeug und die Art und Weise wie man darin sitzt. Die Knie fast an den Ohren ist für meinen Geschmack etwas das heute nicht mehr sein muss.

Zeer leuke gids Paulo en prima chauffeur. De proeverij in het dorpje Rabil en de fotoshoot van het scheepswrak waren oké. Het bezoek aan de geitenboerderij vond ik minder leuk en de lunch was van mindere kwaliteit. Je ervaart wel hoe de lokale bevolking leeft en het rijden langs de heuvels is mooi, maar de wegen zijn gedurende de hele uitstap zeer hobbelig, een beetje teveel van het goede!

Leuk : enthousiaste gids Paulo was zeer leuk , antwoordde op elke vraag, beleefd en respectvol in zijn praten en handelen. Zeer sympathiek, hij maakte de ervaring tot een groot succes. Proeverijtjes met de nodige uitleg, de boerderij en hoe die slim opgebouwd is, , geitjes vastnemen, moeder melken, de kaasmakerij en het proeven van de kaas Het gevarieerd landschap De ervaren chauffeur Minder leuk was dat da chauffeur duidelijk heel erg verkouden was .

This was a brilliant tour, lots of interesting places to visit and much more about environment and way of life of local people. The new student we had with us was excellent and made the tour for us. Loved milking the goats and holding the kid. Tasting the goats cheese and visiting the hadicraft museum were all great. Loved this tour x x

Becky, die Reiseleitung ist sehr freundlich, lustig und sympathisch. Der Tag war sehr informativ und alles in allem wunderbar. Nur statt der Seifenfabrik könnte man sich künftig eine Alternative einfallen lassen. Hier gibt’s nichts zu sehen, was interessant ist.

Paulo is een geweldige gids vol met informatie, data en achtergronden. Hij neemt je mee alsof je zijn reisgenoot bent en hij staat erg dichtbij alle mensen op straat en de bezochte locaties. Bij de 4x4 chauffeur Emanuel zie je hoe goed hij iedere kuil en bocht kent, fantastische tocht, mooie uitzichten en erg lekker lokaal eten. Tour met kleine groep van 8 maakt het gezellig en intiem. Bij de geitenboerderij en zeepmakerij waren we zelf anders nooit terechtgekomen. Kortom, leuke tour, top gids!

circuit très bien conçu , très interéssant qui permet de sortir des sentiers battus et de mieux cerner et voir la population des villages. la ferme expérimentale était très intéressante à visiter. Le tour était en Anglais . Mon amie qui ne parle pas Anglais a beaucoup apprécié que le guide prenne la peine de lui faire les traductions en très bon français.

Nous avons apprécié la visite mais... il serait peut etre plus.judicieux de nous garder 1h de plus et faire les choses sans courir! Nous retirer nos plats alors que nous sommes.toujours entrain de manger n'est pas.agreable! Etant opérée de l'estomac je dois manger lentement et pas tout en meme temps j'ai du donner mon dessert! Nous faire sortir du 4x4 juste pour nous refiler 1 savon... autant nous le donner dans la voiture. Sinon dans l'ensemble belle decouverte

Keine Auskunft über die History des Landes und bei Nachfrage sehr spärliche Antwort. Besichtigung einer Seifenfirma, die Regale sind leer ansonsten keine Auskunft. Im Fahrzeug, könnte man für die Fahrgäste zum trinken Wasser anbieten. Fahrzeug, das ist was für junge Personen aber gar keinen Fall über 60 da ist es eine Zumutung.

Biggi als Guide war wieder sehr gut.Es hat viel Spaß mit ihr gemacht.Da wir in der Gruppe nur zu sechst waren,hat es sich diesmal etwas bequemer gesessen.Die einzelnen Stationen der Tour waren interessant.Sehr saubere Dörfer.Das Mittagessen mit einheimischen Spezialitäten war,wie auch das zweite Frühstück sehr schmackhaft.Dank auch an Dill,den Fahrer,der uns so gut über das Land gefahren hat.

Man hat den Eindruck die Tour soll so schnell wie möglich durchgezogen werden um baldmöglichst wieder zurück zu sein. Eine laut Beschreibung angekündigte Zeit zur freien Verfügung in Fundu das Figueiras wurde komplett ausgelassen. Von dem Dorf haben wir so gut wie nichts gesehen.

Guide was very informative of the island and was interesting to find out more of how the locals lifes are our of the luxury hotel complex with a few tasters of local foods , farm visit was interesting and how different these are compared to the uk. Shipwreck is eroded a lot now but lovely to see the scenery.

The northern villages 4×4 day tour was the experience we went on (not sure what 'postcards' means in the title of your questionaire). Anyway our 4x4 trip was great, we had a great time, we enjoyed seeing the real Boa Vista, I even had a kick about/football with a young lad in one of the villages. A packed day. Our guide Stefan was great, my only criticism was I wish he would have alternated vehicles between stops so that we could get info in the car (he was always in lead car which was annoying)

Jammer dat er nauwelijks tijd was om te stoppen om foto’s te maken van het bijzondere landschap. Op ons verzoek is de chauffeur af en toe gestopt maar wij zaten achter in de jeep waardoor het moeilijk was om foto’s te maken. Een bezoek aan een school en aan Sal Rei zou zeker een meerwaarde zijn/ een upgrade van de excursie. We hadden het gevoel dat we ons tot aan de lunch constant aan het haasten waren en dat is geen prettig gevoel als je op vakantie bent; dan liever wat vroeger vertrekken.

Aufgrund des Feiertags wäre die Tour in dieser Woche ausgefallen - unser TUI-Betreuer hat die Tour extra vereinbart, dadurch waren wir nur 4 Personen - die Tour wurde mit geändertem Ablauf durchgeführt, war aber trotzdem schön - manches haben wir vermisst, aber alles in allem okay für uns Besonderes Dankeschön an Becky/Tourguide und Dill/Fahrer für den schönen Ausflug - beide waren großartig

Es war ein sehr schöner Tag mit unserem Guide Becky. Erster Stop in Rabil, danach ging es abenteuerlich zum Schiffswrack. Die Santos Farm ist ein echtes Highlight und das Mittagessen war sehr lecker! Der Stop um Seifenladen ist super. Man kann schöne Seifen kaufen, als Souvenirs für zu Hause.

Leider glich es mehr einer Verkaufsfahrt, als einer wirklich kulturellen Veranstaltung. An jedem Stopp war ein Souvenir-Shop aufgebaut und gezielt auf die Möglichkeit zum „nette Mitbringsel für zuhause shoppen“ hingewiesen. Auch das Highlight des Schiffswracks ist bei Weitem nicht mehr so spektakulär, wie es die Fotos vermuten lassen- es ist nämlich nur noch die Hälfte davon da. Nächstes Mal würden wir eher eine vergleichbare Tour mit Einheimischen in kleinerem Rahmen und mit mehr Kultur buchen.

Super gids, alles netjes geregeld, veel gezien en geproefd van de lokale specialiteiten, goede chauffeurs die denken aan de veiligheid van hun toeristen, de kleine attentie die al de dames op het einde van de uitstap hebben ontvangen werd ten zeerste geapprecieerd. Uitstap ten zeerste aan te raden.

Had to pleasure of having Paulo (Denzel Washington Jr.) twice on our tours as guide. What an amazing guy! His humour brightens the tour every time and makes it so pleasant. The tours itself were amazing, the local culture, food and people were very interesting. The roads can be (very) bumpy so not recommended for pregnant women!

Es war alles sehr gut. Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis hat gestimmt. Beim Mittagessen hätte man generell Wasser für alle auf dem Tisch bereitstellen können Ja auch die angepriesene Seifenfabrik hätte man anders benennen sollen. Hatte in den Sinne nichts annähernd mit Fabrik zu tun....Aber war ja sonst alles Stimmig.

Alle Themen waren sehr oberflächlich gehalten. Es könnten z.B. keine speziellen Fragen zur Landwirtschaft beantwortet werden. Der Museumsaufenthalt war sehr kurz. Der Preis war zu hoch. Es wäre wünschenswert, das nicht TUI, sondern die örtlichen Akteure vom Gewinn profitieren.

I did not enjoy the farm. So many animals cooped up inside. The cheese making experience was disappointing. No one explaining what was going on. The local food tasting was a bit of a let down. Seeing the villages was interesting and the we had seen the ship wreck on a different excursion.

Farm war Tierquälerei Hühner und Ziegen auf engsten Raum! Essen im Restaurant war nicht gut. Guide war ok allerdings wurde von Judith die gute Ort am hotel war das falsche Essen aufgenommen somit hatten wir das falsche Essen! Becky guide ging darauf nicht ein.

Der Ausflug war so im ganzen sehr interessant. Einzigstes Manko: Da man auch Offroad fährt findet die Fahrt in einem Jeep statt. Viel zu Eng und zuviele Personen drinnen. Für große Leute und welche mit Knie oder Rückenproblemen wäre diese nicht geeignet da es im Jeep arg eng ist. Das Highlight meiner Frau war die Santos Farm. Dort konnte sie Baby Ziegen streicheln und auf den Arm nehmen. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker.

This 4x4 trip around the island was very uncomfortable especially on the 'road' to the shipwreck. There was no lunch at a beach stop as promised and in fact the lunch provided caused food poisoning which spoilt the next 2 days of our holiday

Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Tour selbst schön. Man konnte etwas über das Leben der Locals erfahren. Jedoch würde ich die Tour kein zweites Mal machen. Wirklich besonders war sie nicht. Op de luchthaven moest ik nogmaals belasting betalen. Volgens de douane kreeg ik dit terug kon vorderen met recu van Tui. Dus niet. Ondanks het feit dat ik dit aantoonbaar heb gemaakt met factuur en recu. Klacht bij klantenservice leidde tot niets. Tui maakt misbruik dubbel van alleenreizigers door prijs met 100% te verhogen en dubbel luchthavenbelasting te betalen.

Proeven locale specialiteiten was ok. Mooie rondrit in het noordelijke deel van Boa Vista in gesloten jeeps (toch een voordeel als de zon de ganse dag schijnt). Middagmaal was wat minimalistisch. Alles verliep vlot met aandacht voor locale projecten.

Too expensive. Compare that with full day experience in Cyprus or such. Restaurant staff doesn't know english and is not much flexible on menu choices. To make it worse, when making booking, your staff doesn't give all menu choices. At the price TUI charged, making guests pay beyond first drink is extortion.

Very enjoyable day thought that the 4x4 was going to be uncomfortable but it was actually really comfy, you get to see the villages that the locals live in and it is very eye opening loved going inside the church in the little village and having a walk around, the guide was excellent and the trip was better than expected, stopped off for a lovely lunch in a little bat the staff couldn't do enough for you would highly recommend, I am going back to cape verde in Sept & will do trip again

We booked the tour but we’re not aware it was going to be an off road experience,at 78,though reasonably fit for my age I found the part of the trip to see the shipwreck somewhat hard on my bones. Lunch was great and there was too much of it,spoilt for choice. Basically I would say it should be clearer what the excursion involves.

Der Ausflug hat uns im allgemeinen gut gefallen, Reiseleiter hat uns alles gut erklärt und auf unsere Fragen geantwortet. Das Mittagessen war auch gut. Die Fahrt selbst war nicht so gut, wir saßen zu neun Personen mit dem Fahrer im Bus zusamen gedrängt. In den Bus passen aber nur 7 Personen und Fahrer. Es war sehr ungemütlich bei der Wärme.

Leuke eiland tour met voldoende tijd om zelf rond te lopen in de kleine dorpjes en het lokale eten te proeven. Jeep is niet heel comfortabel voor lange of oudere mensen, je zit op smalle bankjes aan de zijkanten. Wel overdekt, dus comfortabeler dan de open pick-up trucks van lokale tour aanbieders.

Ik vind het PURE GELDKLOPPERIJ! ER IS NIET TE ZIEN EN NIETS TE BELEVEN. Dat wrak is een aanfluiting. De geiten/kippenboerderij is Zielig, Vies & Smerig. Je wordt gedropt in een dorp waar niets te zien is. Een vervallen kerk, waar je nog geen kaarsje kan aansteken, tenzij je zelf een aansteker meeneemt. De authentieke 2de ontbijt was lekker en de authentieke lunch was ook best te doen maar dan moet je geen pietlut zijn met eten. TUI GA JE SCHAMEN OM DIT ALS EXCURSIE TE VERKOPEN!!

A good mixture of activities demonstrating the lifestyle in Boavista. Two 4x4 vehicles with the guide permanently in the other vehicle - perhaps he should divide his time between vehicles so we could learn more about the island on the long drive sections. Stopping in Sal Rei rather than a random village for a ‘loo stop’ where everyone just sat in the village square waiting to go again would enhance the day. Be warned - very long, very bumpy ride out to the shipwreck!

Eine sehr schöne Tour, man muss aber so weit beweglich sein, um in die Geländewagen hinten einsteigen und auch sitzen zu können. Die Sitzplätze im hinteren Teil des Autos sind schon sehr eng bemessen und als großer Mensch wird es da schnell eng.

Insgesamt war es ein schöner Ausflug. Wir hatten extra einen deutschsprachigen Ausflug gebucht da unser Englisch nicht besonders gut ist. Jedoch wurde im Museum alles auf englisch gesprochen. Der Reiseleiter war nicht bereit für uns zu übersetzen. Das hat uns sehr geärgert.

L'île de Boa Vista n'offre pas grand chose à voir mais le guide nous appris énormément de choses sur l'île, ses habitants et le Cap Vert. J'ai aussi beaucoup aimé certains paysages. The shipwreck, travelling around the island, visiting the nature centre to hear about the turtles and wildlife were great. Lunch was fabulous. Amazing food. Stefan, our guide was superb. Stopping at the farm was pointless, but I understand why it was done to show how the local farm contributed to the island.

Heel leuke en gevarieerde uitstap ! Zowel zee als binnenland, als tasting met muzikale omkadering, komen aan bod. De moeite waard. Een aanrader. Zeer goeie gids (Stephan). Het enige dat ik jammer vond, was dat er géén enkel flesje water voorzien was in zo'n hitte. Voor deze prijs had dat zeker mogen aanwezig zijn in de jeep.

Great tour, guide was very informative and knowledgeable. Every stop was well thought out and engaging with good local history. The only thing that let this down marginally was the heat, it was a very hot day and the 4x4 has no AC with long periods of slow driving so little air moving around.

Loved every minute. My only complaint would be to ask the question why, as my husband has epilepsy, which was put in our booking, we were initially put on the second floor ? We eventually were moved to the ground floor after asking if we could move.

This was a great tour, allowing you to see a lot of the island and get a sense of what it’s like beyond the resort walls. Stefan, our guide, was friendly and energetic and all the stops offered something different for you to experience. I particularly liked starting the day with local snacks and music in Rabil and our visit to the farm. It’s a long, hot day but definitely worth it.

Gruppengröße (10 Personen) top, Guide Jose sehr freundlich und herzlich, gute Deutschkenntnisse, konnte alle Fragen beantworten. Good trip to see most of the island. Only criticism would be that there was no commentary from the driver at all to inform us of what we were seeing on the road whilst driving. Most tours I have been provide a running commentary. Therefore suggest booking with one of the locals for a more personal experience.

Die Fahrt in den Jeep's war schon recht anstrengend, aber die Tour selbst hat sich 100% gelohnt! Man hat die Insel und die Einheimischen kennen gelernt! Unser Guide " José " war einfach nur super!!! Freundlich, witzig, ehrlich, höflich und sehr aufmerksam und kompetent ??

Nous avons trouvé le guide très intéressant et très gentil ! Il nous a partagé pleins d'anecdotes sur l'Histoire du Cap Vert, la vie des locaux, les traditions etc. Nous aurions aimé faire un arrêt à Sal Rei au lieu de juste y passer avec le 4x4.

Enjoyed the entire day. Our guide was very informative and professional. Our driver was lovely and helpful and I felt safe at all times. Each stop off gave us a new experience into Cape Verde culture, history, current development and future plans and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. Local lunch was amazing. The food was well cooked, delicious and plentiful. Even the choice of drinks available was of good quality. Very good tour.

Carlos the guide was knowledgeable. But in our welcome meeting 14/5 the TUI rep said this was in her top 4 best excursions you'll see lots of beaches etc but we didn't we saw 1 beach where the shipwreck was then villages, I wish I done the quad bikes instead of this trip. Also 8 adults were squat in the back of the 4x4 with nothing to hold on to while going across the rough roads & sand dunes. A lady fell out the back of the jeep as the steps are not wide enough and got her foot caught.

The overall day was a great experience. Back of our 4x4 very very cramped, designed to fit 4, no idea how that would’ve been possible with 4 adults. The guide Carlos was fantastic however the actual driver in our 4x4 didn’t speak a word all day. Believe the other 4x4 had much more involved commentary when travelling

We enjoyed the experience of having visiting the wreck and the information on the ship wreck, but they don’t give you enough time to relax when you get there, they only gave you around 15 minutes to have a walk around and that’s not enough time for us to stretch your legs when traveling in a 4x4 cooped up with other passengers, would have experienced it much better if they was no rooftop on the vehicle at least you could get some fresh air.

Mooie kennismaking met dorpen, scheepswrak en natuur in W-N-O Boa Vista. Het had wel iets comfortabeler kunnen zijn met minder dan 9 toeristen in een Toyota jeep. En de geitenboerderij leek ons niet écht een operationele boerderij waar dagelijks gemolken en kaas gemaakt wordt, maar eerder een toeristenval.

De benaming Postcardtoer zou voor 1/2 moeten omschreven worden als shop toer. De tijd om te genieten van postcardzichten van het robuuste binnenland ( dus even uitstappen en wat foto’s nemen) wordt besteed aan te lang luisteren naar een bandje en shops bezoeken ( die allemaal hetzelfde verkopen). De kapel aan de zee reden we voorbij, het wrak en het duinen landschap was de moeite waard! Het middagmaal was lekker!! We hadden een Nederlandstalige toer geboekt, maar moesten in een Franse jeep !!

La visite de l'épave, présentée comme la partie majeur de l'excursion, est vraiment ce qu'il y a de moins intéressant... Un bout de métal rouillé enfoui dans du sable, avec l'interdiction formelle de s'en approcher (des policiers surveillant l'endroit). Heureusement que le guide était sympathique et connaissant parfaitement son sujet, et que le reste (visite de ferme, de village, ...) était là car sinon, cela aurait été une journée gâchée

Es war eine relativ kleine Gruppe , 10 Leute das hat mir gut gefallen weil man so den Reiseleiter viel fragen konnte. Die Reiseleitung war sehr gut und Tuncay wusste auch sehr viel über Boa Vista. Das essen hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt und war ausreichend. Nicht so gut gefallen hat uns der Transport, mit 1,90m hatte ich hinten im 4x4 Auto absolut keinen Platz plus es gab nichts zum festhalten wenn es mal abseits der Straßen ging.

Onze gids Simone is geweldig en weet heel veel te vertellen. Het eerste bezoek is een klein dorpje bij het vliegveld. Proeverij was wel leuk. Daarna naar het wrak. Moet je eigenlijk wel even gezien hebben. De geitenboerderij is gemaakt van een stapel pallets en stelt niks voor. Ook de hygiëne aldaar is ver te zoeken. De lokale lunch was prima. Wild live centre zijn wat posters met uitleg. Maak je op voor een hobbelige rit. De wegen zijn niet best.

Ein netter Tagesausflug der eher auf der ruhigen Seite sich ansiedelt, die rauen Straßen bringen ein wenig Abenteuer in die Tour ansonsten genießt man die Umgebung auf Boa Vista und die netten Leute. Man kommt in Regionen der Insel die man so vielleicht nicht entdeckt hätte. Gerade die Aussichten, Strände und Ort die man entdeckt haben einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen. Wer nach einem schönen Tagesausflug sucht ist hier richtig. Auch für Familien geeignet.

Tui needs to improve its saftey methods and speak to all staff. We were in a confined jeep with a woman who decided she wanted to fight another couple in the car, she was trying to physically attack someone and the tui driver didn’t even stop the car. It was a long journey and I felt severely unsafe.

Enjoyable tour and a very good guide. Was fun, educational, and a good tour to see the island and its people. The shipwreck was worth seeing after a very bumpy ride, so if you suffer from back problems, this isn’t a tour for you. Overall a good tour and not as long as the full day so good for little ones too.

Whilst giving a taste if the island it was fairly obvious that you are struggling to find points if real interest for visitors. Good tastes if local food on mid morning stop but lunch fairly standard fair. guide and local knowledge excellent and well put over. Drivers very skilled at the torrane .

The excursion was well organised. The downside was the sadness from witnessing hungry dogs that followed us during the tour through the streets of the town. At the end of the tour following a sit down meal we were greeted by the same dogs that just wanted some food. In hindsight, we would have taken food and water for the dogs. Hele leuke gids, jong meisje maar perfekt op de hoogte. Ook de chauffeur enorm betrokken en gaf ook dingen aan vanuit "zijn eiland". Leuke tour en veel gezien, de jeep ook zeker nodig om door de zandlandschappen te kunnen komen. Dat gaat niet lukken met een huur jeepje :-)

The guide and the drivers were very good. A taste of general local life on the island was good. The 4x4 vehicle we were in was very cramped and uncomfortable. Seating along either side of the vehicle meant only being able to see in one direction. Far too long was spent on bumpy roads. The turtle conservation place was very underwhelming. Lunch was OK but not a lot of it!

Schildkrötenzentrum ist für einen Raum mit einer Hand voll Plastikschildkröten eine etwas eigentümliche Umschreibung. In diesem Museum gab es noch je einen Raum mit Vögel Walen und Haien. Infos eher spärlich. Das Mittagessen geschmacklich gut, die Menge eher Überschaubar. Gut, dass es bei der Ankunft im Hotel an der Snackbar noch etwas gab. Aber man bekam einen Überblick über die Insel.

Wij hadden gekozen voor Nederlandse reisleiding. Deze man kon goed engels en frans, maar niet meer dan 10 woorden Nederlands. Schildpadden centrum is niet meer dan een educatie centrum waarvan de beheerder alleen maar frans kan en lang niet alles uitlegt.

Generell ist die Tour aber preislich zu hoch angesetzt, für 50€ wäre bei der Tour alles perfekt! Wir haben es trotzdem nicht bereut.

Veronika war eine sehr gute Reiseleiterin. Sie hat viel über die jeweiligen Orte erzählt. Die Mahlzeiten waren sehr lecker. Jedoch hätten einige Orte nicht sein müssen, wie z.B. auf einem Platz zu stehen, dort Pause zu machen, um etwas im Souvenirladen zu kaufen. Genauso wie über eine Straße ca 500m zu laufen. Wir waren ca 7,5 Std unterwegs. Irgendwann konnte man den Input, den man bekam, nicht mehr aufnehmen. Trotzdem war es ein schöner Ausflug.

Stefan, our guide was amazing. He was knowledgable and showed us how resourceful local farming communities were with irrigation systems to maximise harvests. Our driver was courteous. Only downside was the lunch - food was plentiful but we were hounded by flies and there were no covers for the food so a lot was wasted as we couldn’t keep the flies off the food. That is why it doesn’t get full marks for value for money as we couldn’t eat what was provided because of flies contaminating food.

Die Fahrt mit den Jeeps war schön, die Route nicht zu lang, Die Stopps zeitlich ausreichend lang so das man sich nicht gehetzt vorkam. Angenehme Gruppengröße (16Pers) 2 Jeeps mit je 8 Personen. Die Tour hat meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Reiseleitung war sehr nett und kompetent, bei den Fahrer hatte man ein sicheres Gefühl.

Veronika und die Fahrer waren sehr nett und es hat mit ihnen Spaß gemacht. Ich hätte mir gewünscht dass auch in unserem Auto ein Guide gewesen wäre, weil wir so die Fahrt über keinen Ansprechpartner hatten. Außerdem wäre es toll, wenn die Autos klimatisiert wären und die Sitze zumindest bei so langen Fahrten etwas bequemer wären. Hatte tags darauf noch Rückenschmerzen.

Tolle Tour mit schönen Stops und leckeren reichhaltigen Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen um einen Eindruck über das wahre Leben der Kapverdianer außerhalb der Hotelanlage zu bekommen. De tour, de begeleiding en de uitleg door de gids waren prima. Wij hadden het geluk dat zij bij ons in het voertuig zat. In het volgvoertuig had men dit niet. Zij verplaatsten van punt naar punt zonder de uitleg van de gids. Dit werd deels gecompenseerd op een stop omdat daar nog wel werd verteld wat je had gezien maar wanneer er één gids per auto is, of een chauffeur die wat uitleg kan geven (de chauffeurs spraken voornamelijk creools) dan zou dir een grote meerwaarde hebben.

Stefan the guide was AMAZING! He was very knowledgeable about the area, spoke good English and really friendly. He did make the experience. It wouldn’t have been the same without him. We enjoyed seeing the island, capital and beaches. After a few villages we felt like we’d seen them all to be honest and weren’t interested in seeing other villages. However the tour felt padded, we stopped off in a number of (quaint) villages with nothing really to see - especially problematic at noon in the heat of the sun with no shade (I think we stopped in 4 villages and another one for lunch). The turtle part was very underwhelming and lasted about 2 minutes with us standing in a room looking at display posters. The ship and the beech where pretty but plastic covered

Lovely day out, touring Cape Verde by Land Rover. Got to see lovely villages, taste local delicacies for breakfast and a lovely lunch, meet the locals and had beer in a village square, The guide was very helpful, informative, answered everyone's questions and great humour. As there were two vehicles on the tour our driver was super good pointing out things we should look at on our travels and what everything was (out guide was in the other vehicle but don't think we missed out at all) even stopped for photos on 'Route 66' and took photos for us rather than having to do the 'selfie'! which he didn't need to do! All in all I would recommend this tour as a lovely day out of the hotel, meet lovely Cape Verdians and enjoy the vista that you don't get to see on the airport transfer! All in all I would recomend

Met 8 mensen achter in een 4×4 gepropt over onverharde wegen worden rondgereden over een eiland dat eigenlijk geen bezienswaardigheden heeft. Te weinig zitruimte voelde onveilig en oncomfortabel. Eigenlijk was er ruimte voor 6 personen. Compliment voor de gids die er toch wat van probeerde te maken. De lunch met lokale gerechten was karig en niet smakelijk. Op verzoek van de groep eerder terug gekeerd naar het hotel.

Sehr schöner Ausflug! Jederzeit zu empfehlen, doch Achtung nix für Menschen mit Rückenbeschwerden.Da die Straßen zum Teil keine sind , sondern schotterpisten. Man wird schon ziemlich durchgeschüttelt,da in den Jeeps nur spartanische Sitze sind ! Ansonsten ein sehr guter Tourguide , alles verständlich erklärt, sehr interessant! Carlos was a fabulous tour guide. He was really knowledgeable about the local area and gave us loads of great information. He also answered every question we had, and was great with my 6 year old son. We booked the tour on my birthday and Carlos pulled out all the stops to make sure I had a special day. We also really enjoyed the nature museum (even though it is small) and the guide there was also really informative. Definitely worth a trip. The restaurant for lunch was lovely and friendly and felt authentic. On the negative side, I'm not sure it is really worth the long and bumpy ride out to the shipwreck, as there isn't really anything to do or learn once you get there - but then you don't know that until you've made the trip! Also we had food served to us almost as soon as we started the tour, which is right after breakfast. It might be worth telling people not to eat too much for breakfast as they're probably all in all inclusives and you naturally do fill up before a day out! Finally, one of the seatbelts in the van didn't work properly, which wasn't ideal for such a bumpy ride!

Da wir Hobbyfotografen sind, haben wir diesen Ausflug gebucht und sind davon ausgegangen, dass speziell solche „postkartenmotive“ angefahren werden. Der Ausflug war dann eher nach dem Motto „Land und Leute“. Der Ausflug war gut, wir haben viel gesehen und einen schönen Tag gehabt. Der Titel des Ausfluges ist halt etwas unglücklich gewählt ansonsten alles gut.

It was a lot longer in the landrover then expected. The villages were lovely which we visited but I wouldn’t do the trip again as there really wasn’t much to see. We went to the shipwreck and there was so much rubbish. I think TUI should encourage their staff to pick up litter on their visits instead of standing around and saying how much there is!!

Wij vonden dat er te weinig te zien was. Ok het eiland heeft niet veel te bieden par toch. Bv wanneer we naar het scheepswrak gaan kijken zijn waren er verschillende punten die volgens ons de moeite waard waren op eens te stoppen om een foto van de kustlijn te nemen en tevens van het wrak vanop afstand. Dit gebeurde op verschillende plaatsen waarvan wij dachten , hier kan je een mooie foto trekken (postcard) maar niets van aan. We reden dan naar verschillende dorpjes waar eigenlijk niets te zien was bevat spelende kinderen. Ik kan aannemen dat men de locale wil steunen na deze moeilijke periode maar ik denk niet dat dit de manier is. Bij het museum van de walvissen en haaien stelde mijn vrouw een vraag aan de gids dewelke antwoorde dat de persoon van het museum dit antwoord kon geven?! Nee dus. Feit dat we met een jeep gereden hebben door de woestijn kar het scheepswrak was top. Voor de rest was het spijtig genoeg zeer mager. Mvg

Zimmer war bei Ankunft nicht fertig. Musste dann ein anderes Zimmer beziehen. Koffer dann erst mal "verschollen" w/Zimmerwechsel. Safe im Zimmer nicht funktionsfähig - wurde am zweiten Tag repariert.. Reklamation beim TUI-Mitarbeiter erst zögerlich bearbeitet.

Enjoyed the ride, a very helpful and pleasant driver. I would not recommend a guide - very little information about island provided during a tour. I was also concerned about a local band playing for tourists that included 2 children - why weren't they at school? I understand locals need money but no need to use children, in my opinion. Our first stop was to taste some local food, that was rather unreasonable after a breakfast just a few moments before.

It was a good tour to explore the island and see some of the sights. The shipwreck is really worth seeing. It was a shame to see the beach littered with plastic waste. The off road journey is not for everyone, very bumpy with 8 people cramped in the back of a Toyota Land Cruiser doesn't make for a comfortable ride. The 2 restaurants on the tour were excellent giving us a chance to sample some local food and drink along with traditional music. Really enjoyed this. It was interesting to see the villages but there wasn't a lot to see in the small environmental centre. Perhaps spending some time in the capital and museum there would be better and offer more to the experience. The guide was super and very knowledgeable he made the tour really rememberable. Overall it seemed good value for money.

The guests on our tour were all over 70 and the trip was totally unsuitable being bounced over sandunes in a 4x4. We were sold a postcard trip of the island and didn't see anything worth taking pictures of as we only went to the shipwreck, we were told it was virtually three tours in one. A total ripoff at 75euros each and we will never book another trip with tui

Das Hotel karamboa kann man sehr gut weiter empfehlen.Die ganze Anlage war sauberer und im guten Zustand. Das Personal war super nett. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag aufgeräumt und es gab immer frische Handtücher. Auch für Familien ist dieses Hotel empfehlenswert. Die ganze Woche über gab es deutschsprachige TUI Mitarbeiter,die einen weiter helfen wenn es nötig war. Wir würden wieder diesen Urlaub buchen.

Hier stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht. Die angebotene Zeit zw. 4 und 8 Stunden ist die Zeit-Differenz viel zu groß. Unter "Besuch eines Schutzzentrums für Schildkröten" bzw. Schildkrötenzentrum erwarte ich etwas NUR mit Schildkröten und lebendigen Tieren >>> KEIN Museum über Fische und Schildkröten. Sorry >> aber hier fühlten wir uns über den Tisch gezogen Die Jeepfahrt / das Schiffsfrack / die örtlichen Begebenheiten / und die verschiedenen Eindrücke sind ein Erlebnis wert.

Man muss sich damit abfinden, dass Boa Vista keine besonderen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu bieten hat. Die Ziele die angefahren werden sind der verzweifelte Versuch eine Tour zusammenzustellen. Und Postkarten Motive muss man schon suchen. Fahrer, Reiseleiter und die Verpflegung ( am Anfang eine kleine lokale Verkostung und ein Mittagessen) waren gut. Stopps wurden in 2 Dörfern, dem Schiffswrack, einem Museum und an der „ Route66“ eingelegt. Die meiste Zeit verbringt man im Jeep. Meist auf einfach gepflasterten Straßen und auch durch Sanddünen ( was auch Spaß macht) . Ein Dorf reicht und das Museum könnte man sich schenken. Die Tour war nicht so schlimm, wie es vielleicht den Anschein macht, aber zu lang. Für Kinder würde ich sagen nicht geeignet.

Die Postkartentour war Sehenwert. Viele Einblicke über die Insel Boavista. Das einheimische Mittagessen war nett gestaltet und hat auch gut geschmeckt. Das Schiffsfrack ist auch so wie auf den Postkarten. Die Jeeps sind alle prima aber mit 8 Personen etwas wenig Sitzfläche da wären 6 Personen besser gewesen.Bei der Schildkrötenstation hätte ich mir auch einen deutschen Reiseleiter gewünscht und nicht alles in Englisch zumal die Tour als deutsch gebucht war. Es ist auch eher nur ein Haus in der Stadt so wie ein Museum wo zum Schluß ein Film im Fernseher läuft. Trotzdem war es ein schöner Tagesausflug.

Fantastic taste of life on the island; we got to sample local food and modern history, we were taught about how essential services operate with such enthusiasm and love for the guide's home. We got to experience being driven by 4x4 across dunes (Jorge should be competing in Paris-Dakar 2023) and got to see the conservation centre where we found out about the challenges facing the very impressive wildlife on land and sea that visit.

We did the full day tour of Boa Vista and would recommend this to anyone visiting the island for the first time. The island is still developing and this needs to be borne in mind. But there is much to be enjoyed in the nature reserves and local villages. And, as everyone will tell you, the local Cape Verdeans are unbelievably friendly and easy going. Would also like to thank our guides, Stefan (I think) and Paolo on our earlier half day tour of the south - also to be recommended. One comment - much of the trip is off-road so expect to be bumped around in the vehicles. Above all….Enjoy!!!

J’ai été déçu par la journée qui m’a foi est surfaite… Comparativement à la précédente de quatre heures. Il y a beaucoup de route pour très peu à voir. Est-ce nécessaire d’aller passer une heure pour prendre un petit déjeuner local…Alors que nous mangeons à l’hôtel. Par contre, le déjeuner de midi était très bon. Je dois souligner la compétence et la bonne humeur de Lili notre guide, ainsi que la serviabilité du chauffeur.

Plus: Het etentje, de Santa Maria en een dorpje bezoeken, route 66 Min: verschillende dezelfde dorpjes, soms zelf eens een zeer korte tussenstop in een dorpje waar we het nut niet van inzagen (uit jeep/in jeep). Tijdens de langere ritten had ik meer info over het eiland/bevolking verwacht van de Tui-hostesse.... weinig uitleg. Ik dacht ook dat we bij locals thuis eens gingen komen maar was niet het geval. We onthouden vooral de positieve dingen, no problem. Maar dus van ons 10 jaar uitstappen doen met Tui was deze iets minder maar net niet gebuisd.

We visited local church, were the first presidents tomb is, the ship wreck on beach, museum about turtles, stopped for lunch, there was something to keep everyone interested. Price could be lower, Stephan was our guide very knowledgeable and friendly.

Le tour inclus différents aspects du Cap Vert, ce qui est très appréciable.
Lili est un très bon guide aussi.
Seul point négatif est que les 3 villages que nous visitons en fin de journée sont très similaires. Nous faisons dès lors beaucoup de route pour ne pas découvrir de nouvelles choses.

Het is een leuke manier om een beetje van het eiland gezien te hebben. Het eten was ook lekker. En gids was gewoon goed. Maar prijs-kwaliteit verhouding klopt niet helemaal naar ons gevoel. Beetje duur voor wat je ervaart. Gelukkig wordt het geld dan wel terug in de bevolking geïnvesteerd
