La côte accidentée de l'ouest de l'Algarve est parsemée de falaises spectaculaires abritant des criques sablonneuses et des villes de caractère. Lors de cette excursion, vous aurez tout le temps d'explorer la ville historique de Lagos et de voir des endroits parmi les plus pittoresques de l'Algarve, tels que Sagres, le "bout du monde", et le village de pêcheurs de Baleeira. Beatriz, l'une de nos guides locales expertes, nous dit : "Lagos était un port maritime important au 15ᵉ siècle, pendant l'âge des découvertes portugais. Vous en apprendrez plus sur son histoire en flânant dans la vieille ville, dans ses rues pavées bordées de beaux bâtiments."Abritée par l'embouchure d'une rivière, la ville de Lagos jouit d'une situation privilégiée au bord de la plage et à proximité de tous ces paysages étonnants. Faites le plein de culture avec une visite de la ville de Lagos et du temps libre pour profiter des rues animées et des cafés. La visite guidée passe par la Praça do Infante, où se trouve la statue d'Henri le Navigateur, ainsi que le bâtiment qui fut le premier marché aux esclaves du Portugal. Vous pourrez ensuite choisir de passer votre temps à déjeuner, à faire du shopping ou à explorer.Ensuite, vous vous rendrez à Sagres pour admirer sa forteresse du 15ᵉ siècle. Vous pourrez explorer les lieux et admirer son architecture impressionnante, tout en découvrant l'histoire maritime de la région. Vous continuerez au Cabo de São Vicente, surnommé le "bout du monde", le point le plus au sud-ouest de l'Europe. Vous terminerez la journée en admirant des vues encore plus panoramiques sur le port de pêche de Baleeira.

The guide was knowledgeable; but spoke in several different languages and wasn't easy to follow. Adequate time at each place and able to take photos of the coastline.

We enjoyed the variety of places to visit, the scenery and tempo of the tour however found it tedious having to listen to the the 2 other languages each time before being able to understand our own English version. We felt that this could easily be resolved by having pre recorded narrations delivered via headsets in the listeners chosen language.

Would recommend The trip being in dual language wasted time at stops. The guide told us everything on the bus then again off the bus giving you reduced time to explore by yourself. In Lagos we wasted 30mins being told where to eat when it was clear there were cafes etc. Then the Musuem was full. We went away & paid to go into the Slavery Musuem then went back 40 mins later & got into musuem but had to rush round as it was closing 10mins later. Beautiful Scenery & places just not enough time.

The destinations were enjoyable. The coach was cramped. The party was mostly German and the guide spent most of her time speaking German. You knew you were missing out when the German description went on three times longer than the English.

The whole day was superb, the coach and driver were very good a nice steady pace able to see lots as we passed by , kept informed by the tour guide full of interesting information and told in a very nice joyful manner , felt the times between stops were well spent and the places we stopped at were interesting and showed the background and culture of this area of Portugal.

We went on a trip with Jose to the mountains and monchique. We had a wonderful time, food brilliant. Jose was so informative, considerate and very professional. We learned about the mountains, it's flora and fauna a wonderful experience with a fab guide

I really liked the tour and also learned a lot. We had enough time in each place to explore ourselves and the guide was excellent. I was annoyed that some guests didn’t respect the time we had to return to the coach. Also because it was in both French and English there was No pause between talking so it felt like we had been talked at a lot.

Great day out exploring the south western coast, taking in Lagos, Sagres and Baleeria. Our guide Lydia was exceptional, very knowledgeable, covering everything from it's historical origins through to the typical cuisines. At each location she was on hand to explain landmarks, places worth visiting and the best photo opportunities. We enjoyed our visit to the fortress at Sagres. A real sense of historical Portugal and the onsite exhibition centre is worth a look around.

Comfortable coach, with air conditioning which was very welcome. Guide was very informative, despite switching languages between English and Dutch. Time at each stop was fine however I would have preferred slightly longer at Ponta De Piedade. Worth the short guided time in Lagos but other than that the day was our own and flowed nicely. Weather was lovely and coach drive had water to purchase if required. My only criticism was changing our coach on the return journey and only having French guide

It was a duel speaking tour shared with Dutch passengers. I understand the economics but I think you only get half the experience due to guide having to do everything twice.

My wife and I very much enjoyed the places we visited. The coach was modern and comfortable and the coach driver and guide were very good friendly and professional. The trip was very interesting and informative. The only downside for us was that because we joined the coach first in Vilamoura there were a lot of other pickups before the trip got underway and we were also inevitably the last people to be dropped back at our hotel which made it a very long day. This is probably unavoidable.

The driver said that it would have been easier to pick me up from my hotel. Instead he had to pick me up at your suggested hotel. I had to walk to the pick up 20 minutes

A lovely day trip, lots of places visited, but not too much driving time. Each of the places we visited was interesting and the guide gave us the highlights without being overbearing. We could have done with an extra hour in Sagres as we didn’t get to see it all, but loved Lagos and wouldn’t want that cut short.

The guide, Vasco was very knowledgeable and humorous. He made the trip and the places we visited, come alive with the information given. This was my first holiday to Portugal and I learnt so much from this tour. The views were breathtaking and Lagos was a beautiful, historical city which I hope to revisit. The trip enabled us to see several places in one trip that would have taken several taxi rides if I had organised independently.

The places we visited were beautiful. The tour guide and coach driver were excellent. I would have liked more time at the Fort as we didn't get to see around the museum or much of the area inside the Fort walls.

Guide (Jose)was very knowledgeable and interesting. He was also caring and attentive to the needs of customers. Good driver. Comfortable coach. Enough time to look round areas we disembarked. Lagos is a lovely town and would consider holidaying in the area in the future.

It was a fantastic experience. Franz was very informative, friendly and we learned a lot of interesting facts about Portugal. He has a great personality, is very approachable and knowledgeable. There was just enough time for everything and even the bus ride wasn't boring as there was always some commentary along the journey. If there is one experience I'd recommend in Algarve is this one and Dream Wave.

Nice trip to Lagos and Sagres. So much to do and see on the tour with an excellent guide. Would loved to have spent longer exploring Lagos and all it had to offer. Well worth the experience to see one of the nicest places in the Algarve. Would highly recommend this tour.
