Avec de longues étendues de plage vierge et un riche patrimoine culturel, Sal a tous les ingrédients pour une belle journée d'excursion. Cette excursion vous fera découvrir les meilleurs sites, tels que le lagon de Buracona et les salines de Pedra de Lume. Pour couronner le tout, un déjeuner capverdien traditionnel est prévu et vous aurez un aperçu de la vie locale décontractée à Espargos et Palmeira. Rodrigo, l'un de nos guides locaux, explique : "Pedra de Lume se trouve au milieu d'un cratère volcanique et on y accède par un tunnel. Vous pouvez parfois ramasser des cristaux de sel compressés de la taille d'une balle de golf, tandis qu'à d'autres moments, le sel est si dur que vous marchez sur les bacs à sel."Le plaisir commence par une visite à Espargos. Vous explorerez la capitale colorée de l'île et admirerez son art de rue fascinant, avant de vous rendre à un point d'observation pour des vues surélevées de la ville. Ensuite, vous vous rendrez à la lagune de Buracona, célèbre pour une illusion d'optique appelée "l'œil bleu", causée par la lumière du soleil. L'excursion se poursuit au village de pêcheurs de Palmeira. Vous pourrez vous détendre dans un café pendant que votre guide vous révèle des histoires sur le passé du village.L'heure est venue de se régaler, car une table vous attend dans un restaurant familial qui sert un plat spécial de homard capverdien. Il existe également d'autres options savoureuses. Après avoir fait le plein de cuisine locale, nous rejoindrons les eaux de la mer morte de Pedra de Lume. Vous pourrez vous allonger et flotter sur l'un des lagons les plus salés du monde, avant de vous arrêter au jardin botanique de Viveiros pour découvrir une végétation exotique et un zoo pour enfants.

Guide war toll. Viel Wissen vermittelt. Was das aber mit Vip auf sich hat keine Ahnung . Kleinbus war voll. Als 1.92m Mensch sehr unbequem. Fatamorgana nur sehr schwach, das blaue Auge war an diesem Tag ein schwarzes Loch. Am schlimmsten war das Essen. Kalt und überteuert. Salinas und Botanischer Garten waren schön.

Tony the guide was very knowledgeable, courteous, approachable with a good sense of humour. Overall a well organised trip, mixing an insight into island life & sightseeing with different aspects. Lunch was OK a bit disappointing with the lobster having paid extra.Although enjoyable though it was overpriced..

The tour guide was helpful and very knowledgeable about the island. He made the experience very enjoyable. The sights and time spent at each location was good. The only thing that slightly let it down was the lunch as I would have liked something more traditional and not frozen chips!! I'm guessing it was more due to convenience than overall experience. All in all it was a good day and I would recommend it as a great island tour

The trip was absolutely brilliant, really funny and very educational. Ramiro knew everything about each part of the areas we drove through because he grew up on the island. He was very funny explain things and his knowledge about the land and just general knowledge about things was very impressive. He is a funny and intelligent man. Would highly recommend this tour and hopefully get Ramiro as your guide. Top top class day out

Tour an sich war toll, unsere Tourguide Philipa spricht ausgezeichnet deutsch und hat alles verständlich erklärt. Fragen wurden alle beantwortet. Sie hat hervorragendes Wissen über das Land und die Kultur. Als Kritik möchte ich anmerken: wir hatten das Lobstermenü gebucht und da gab es leider kein richtiges Lobsterbesteck, man konnte den Lobster nicht richtig aus dem Panzer essen.

Wij hadden Nando als gids en mijn partner en ik vonden de tour vele malen leuker dan we hadden verwacht. Onze gids was super, hele aardige man die veel interessante dingen had te vertellen over zijn eiland! Er zit veel meer achter Sal dan alleen “woestijn”. Wij zijn echt heel blij dat we dit hebben gedaan!

Wir hatten mit Filipa eine hervorragende Tourleiterin , die mit viel Herzblut und Enthusiasmus von den Kapverden zu berichten wusste. Bei unserem Fahrer hatten wir das Gefühl , dass er wirklich jede Unebenheit auf der Straße kannte . Das Essen hatte jedoch Luft nach oben .

The tour guide Tony was excellent. Having lived all his life on the island he was able to supply a fabulous insight into the history and life on Sal. He was cheery, always happy to answer any question and made sure we were safe and secure. The driver was excellent, he too ensured that he was available when required and our belongings were safe.

Tony our guide was full of knowledge… just felt comfortable with him as soon as we got on the coach … the driver of the coach ( I forgot his name ) whilst we stopped he was cleaning the coach inside and out… overall the whole day was good … chilled and relaxed

Our guide 'Eddie' was superb...he was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the trip. It was nice just to have a mini bus so felt more personal. With it being adult only I think a better choice of drink as it was only beer or soft drinks (wine with your meal) and if you don't drink wine or beer an alternative would've been nice. The meal itself was ok but would've been better if you would know before going what the 3 courses were. Instead of do you want fish or chicken not offered lobster.

Our guide (Heber) was very entertaining, friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of different experiences - village tours, blue eye, lunch, drinks, botanic gardens and a float in the salt lake. Transport comfortable and safe to leave belongings in minibus whilst sightseeing. Well looked after with plenty of water provided.

Fantastic day out visiting the sites in Sal. Our tour guide Ramiro Lima was an absolute delight and full of wonderful information and thoroughly engaging throughout the day. The transport was clean and comfortable and arrived dead on time. The food provided for lunch was well cooked and tasty. We paid a little extra for the lobster, which was delicious. The setting on the beach was beautiful. A trip to the salt lakes was great, despite the long walk back up the hill to the coach.

Der Einstieg in den Sal-Urlaub, eine tolle Tour mit großem Umfang und wunderbarer Tourleitung. Philippa führte mit sehr viel Herz und einem ständigen Lächeln durch die Tour, danke dafür. The tour guide Ronaldo and also the driver (did not catch his name) were very profrsssional and made the trip fun ! They gave out all the relevant information and remained upbeat through the day thank you ! The lunch section was AMAZING the food was SOO good and the service from all staff was fantastic food came out quickly everything was efficient and you could see they all worked together. It also happened to be my birthday and they brought out a cake which was a beautiful touch to the day

We had a wonderful time, Tony our guide for the day was grate. We had a long wait about an hour half, at the blue eye because so many outher tours, but we did get to see it The botanical garden was very nice and also the meal. We would have like to look around the capital, but we only went to the one shop for taster, that .might have been because of the long wait at the blue eye

Enjoyed knowledge and passion of the tour guide (Donnie) and driver was excellent. Good hearing about how the locals live and seeing their community (hopefully improving much better for them in future). Lunch was disappointing especially the ice cream. Starter was poor ,mean course overwhelming and ice cream was not ice cream.

I cannot remember the tour guides name but he was funny and knowledgeable about Sal. We saw the blue eye, where he took photos for us. Lunch was very good and the salt works was excellent also. The best part was the Botanical Gardens, which although small shows what can be done with the dry environment on Sal given the time and effort. The gardens are like an oasis in a desert. I would definitely say visitors to Sal should go on this day trip.

The tour was a great way to see all of Sal. Our guide, Antonio, was knowledgeable and clearly loved his country. Every stop off was interesting. Lots of drinks available at most stops we did, and the meal was very filling. All in all do this tour if you want to get a taste of the island.

The overall experience was great for all aspects of the trip. Eddie the tour guide superb, knowledgeable and personable, driver was very good also. Blue lagoon trip to have set appointment time so not having to wait too long at busy times.

Ramiro the guide was the best. Time wasted on trip just taking photo in the middle of nowhere. Rushed at salt lake only ten mins floating time, very disappointing as it was the better part of the tour. Sold as lobster lunch but a reduction should be made for chicken. Would I do this again the answer is No.

Our guise was absolutely brilliant with telling us so much information, making the whole day enjoyable from start to finish. The food we had at lunch was just brilliant, recommending this experience to anyone that flies tui to Sal/Cape Verde

Guide Eddie was excellent really engaging and answered lots of questions. Lobster lunch was excellent. Timings a bit off for example linger in some areas and not enough time at others, but I have been on several like trips and I know you will never get that right for everyone

Also unser Guide Rony war echt der Hammer. Er hat uns mit seiner höflichen und freundlichen Art alles wissenswertes übermittelt.Man hat gemerkt er liebt sein Land,die Leute und die Kultur und hat dies mit seiner guten Laune immer gezeigt.Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Guide vorstellen können.Er hat uns dadurch eine unvergessliches Erlebnis geschenkt und wir würden ihn jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Das einzige was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat ist der Ablauf beim Essen,dieser war viel zu schnell.

Die Tour war rund um einfach super, wirklich zu empfehlen. Ein großen Dank an den Tourguid Rony, er war einfach super, und natürlich der Busfahrer der super gefahren ist.Nicht' auszusetzen, weiter so.Immer wieder gerne

Our guide (Xavier) was brilliant and really made the tour for us. Xavier had a wealth of factual knowledge, a great personality and nothing was too much trouble.

The visit to the salt mine included a long steep climb back to the car park. My wife has a replacement knee do the guide arranged a lift in a tui landrover back to the top. Very helpful.

Tour was mega expensive for what it was. The guide was lovely and very helpful but most of the tour was more about him than the history of the island. We paid an extra €20 each for a lobster lunch which overcooked and dry with freezing cold chips. Not a good experience at all.

We enjoyed the full day from getting to know the history of the island and seeing all the sights. The food was lovely and plenty of drinks provided. The salt mine was fabulous and then relaxing in the botanical garden before making our way back to the hotel

Couldn't hear the guide because of the noise of the bus. Wouldn't recommend the lobster, five days of us ordered it and couldn't eat it, it was disgusting.

Tony our guide was very informative and absolutely full of knowledge. He was such a wonderful person made us all feel at ease with each other we started as strangers and ended as family. Give this man a pay rise couldn’t speak more highly of him
