Wir hatten das Glück, das wir den Fahrer und die Reiseleiterin schon von einer anderen Tour kannten und schätzten. Natürlich wurden wir pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt. Wir besprachen die Schwerpunkte der Tour, da uns auch verschiedene alternative Schwerpunkte vorgestellt wurden. Von der vorherigen Tour kannte die Reiseleiterin schon unsere Vorlieben (Klöster) und berücksichtigte dies entsprechend bei den Zielen und Stops. Der Fahrer hatte allerlei verschiedene und gekühlte Getränke und Obst dabei.
