Excellent
The pick up was prompt, driver and guide gave a warm welcome and were very knowledgeable. We were kept well informed throughout the trip and didn’t spend too long on the coach. The right balance between guided tours and free time. Bojan made the day very interesting and brought history to life. The food and drink was plentiful and authentic-a lovely experience. There was nothing we didn’t like and would highly recommend this trip to others.

Our excellent guide, Ratko, was the best thing about the day. He is very knowledgeable and humane, even humourous in a foreign language! However, three places in one day is to one too many. We had very limited time in Pula, not enough! Driving to lunch etc took about 3 hours of the day. I'd cut this. There was more time in Rovinj than Pula but still not enough. In sum, too much time on coach, not enough in Pula and Rovinj. Cut the lunch excursion, have some in Pula instead.

Ratco, the guide, is exceptionally. His knowledge and passion are superb. The lunch was great. Thank you to the owners for making the food dairy free for my daughter. The driver drove well and safely. Excellent trip.

Our guide Tin was amazing. It was a very hot day and he made sure we drank enough and kept us in the shade were possible. He had so much knowledge and although he has been a guide for over 20years, he was still so enthusiasic and answered questions. The day was fully packed and our free time at both places was ample. Our lunch, well what can i say, absolutely superb. Im dairy and gluten free, and food was beautiful. Driver was brilliant.

Well paced tour. We were never on the bus too long and the three destinations were all great. Food at the lunch was lovely. Our guide was very knowledgeable, engaging and humorous. I could have done with a bit longer free time at the magnificent Pula Amphitheatre, but that only a minor note.

The guide and driver were both very nice and the guide was very knowledgeable, if anything there was too much information to take in. During the 45 minutes between Porec and Pula and the entire time we were at the amphitheatre he barely paused and left almost no time to explore for ourselves, at the lunch stop there was no real insight into rural Istria other than it's slightly remote location on what was probably once a busy working farm. We could have missed lunch there and eaten in Rovinj.

We had a great day of exploring, Our guide Tin and Bus driver Davos. very knowledgeable and accommodating of the groups needs. Tin made the trip fun and engaging to the range of ages present. We also loved the Lunch at the rural tavan food was delicious and the atmosphere was authentic. We felt we would have liked maybe 10 mins of our own time at the amphitheatre and we would have like a little more time to explore Rovinj (perhaps another 30 mins) Will recommend to others to try out.

We enjoyed the whole experience, learning about the region and it's fascinating history. The bus driver David and the guide Tin were exceptional, with Tin having a wealth of knowledge about the area and it's history. Highly recommended.

Driver and guide were excellent, and the destinations were brilliant. The Amphitheater in Pula is especially worth the visit, but so were the typical Istrian lunch and the town of Rovinj. No real downsides

Lovely day out. Knowledgable and pleasant guide. Good sites to visit. Nice meal provided. Just a little long for us - would have been happier with less free time at the last town; but that's personal taste.

Excellent start & finish to day in Pula & Rovinj, although for me it was a steep walk up to the church in Rovinj. There wasn’t really any free time as such to explore either Pula or Rovinj. What we weren’t happy with was the so called lunch with a family up in the hills, which was misleading & not as described. It was a restaurant ( couldn’t tell it was a farm at all) & no interaction from them in any way other than to serve the food. The food itself was simple but good.

The tour guide, Tin, was fantastic. Knowledgeable, funny, informative, helpful, energetic, passionate and just wanting to be asked questions. Did this tour about 5 years ago and this time learned so much more than we did the first time. Only thing I think that is a little high is the price. But it was not overly expensive in the long run I guess for the experience that we had.

The guide, Philp was knowledge and helpful. The coach driver and coach were excellent. However, in my opinion, the lunch provided was of poor quality and we the hosts were inhospitable. It would have been better it there had been more free time allowed.

All the historical sites were interesting but it was very rushed, especially in the Pula amphitheatre- not enough time to take photographs or buy gifts. We almost lost the guide on the way out. The visit to the restaurant took up too much time - took ages to get there. We would have preferred more free time in Pula and Rovinj.

Loved the trip got to see a lot. As a suggestion it would have been really good if the trip was seeing pula in the morning and Rovinj and giving us more free time in each place with maybe an option to visit the Istrian farm for much of wanted? Also we were staying in Vsar and were first for pick up, seemed unnecessary to be first as we then picked up north of the coast to come back down again. A trip to Porec would have been good to add to your trips. Just a thought ??

Fabulous places to visit and the lunch in the farm was great. Not ideal being picked up first from Vrsar then going back up to Porec then back down to Pula, made the journey very long. Would have liked more time in the places we visited

The tour itself was pleasant and the guide was very entertaining on board and off The lunch was an added bonus eith the scenery being very traditional My only criticism would be that we did not have enough free time to explore pula independently

Great tour, went very smooth and tour guide (Ratko) was very knowledgeable! Good local architecture seen, amphitheater was amazing to see. Went for lunch to a beautiful restaurant, food was great - maybe something else for kids needed as they food wise as they were expected to eat what the adults were. Free time was good in places we stopped although maybe a bit rushed. (45/50 mins at each stop) Would recommend!

Rovinj in the morning was great as the narrow cobbled streets were relatively quiet. We were informed that it gets very crowded later on. We headed to the church & bell tower, 4€ 189 steps is optional and we were pre warned of it's state, not for the faint hearted or those with vertigo but good views from top Really enjoyed the relaxed lunch, food was good and plentiful with the local wine served. Pula has a great history too, loved the Arena, Recommend this trip.

Overall it was a fabulous trip. Our guide, Tin, was amazing - really knowledgeable and interesting to listen to, as well as having a good understanding of what would make an enjoyable day for the group. He really made it! There was a really good balance of time on our own and being shown round and having the history and culture explained. The only thing I would change is having a little longer in the amphitheatre in Pula. Otherwise it was perfect, and they even catered for a vegetarian lunch.

One of the best excursions we've been on, after many years of travelling with Tui. The guide (Tin) was absolutely brilliant. Friendly, enthusiastic and full of useful and fascinating information about history and life in Istria. The places we visited were great and the lunch excellent. Definitely recommend this trip.
