Go off-road on a 4x4 adventure that will take you well and truly off the radar. You'll bump down dirt tracks, bounce over potholes and drive through blink-and-you-miss-them villages. Plus, you'll tick off plenty of must-sees on the way. Your driver actually doubles up as a guide, giving you the insider's track on Crete's hidden gems as you go.You'll kick off this full day tour just as you mean to go on – driving along country roads and tracks to experience the real Crete. You'll head for the mountains first, stopping off for photos and a coffee in a village, before reaching Spili, home to the 25-head Lion Fountain and some gorgeous views.Now you'll really get to grips with the land as you go off-road towards the village of Kerame where you'll be treated views over the south coast. There's a beach nearby where River Kourtaliotis flows into the sea, Preveli Beach, which makes an idyllic spot to take a dip. A Cretan lunch then awaits before a walk between the vertical cliffs surrounding Kourtaliotiko Gorge.

Wycieczka ogólnie fajna. Mielismy swietnego przewodnika – pan z Anglii, który mieszka na Krecie od 34 lata. Samochód (jeep) niestety nie mial klimatyzacji, ale mozna bylo otworzyc okno, wiec dalo sie przezyc. Jeep jest 5-osobowy, ale sa tez 4 miejsca w bagazniku. Nas bylo 8 osób, wiec moze sie zdarzyc, ze ktos bedzie siedziec z tylu na kanapie. Po drodze to jeszcze ok, ale w górach bardzo trzesie i jest malo Mogloby byc wiecej czasu na plazy – bylo troche za krótko.

The whole day from start to finish was fantastic. The guide had the best personality and made the day top notch. The route was just brilliant and I truly believe that we saw the ‘real’ Crete. The farm was a real treat and the beach was beautiful. My only gripe is that the beach was small and perfect but was so crowded. However, we made up part of that crowd so it is what it is. I will look to do this kind of experience again wherever I go now. Brilliant

Najlepsza wycieczka w jakiej uczestniczylem na Krecie. Bylem te na Santorini i w Knossos ale ta byla zdecydowanie najlepsza. Duzo przystanków wysoko w górach, super widoki, gdzie mozna zrobic mnóstwo zdjec. Swietna plaza na koncowym odcinku gdzie mozna zobaczyc dosc spory las palmowy. Kierowca jeepa dodatkowo opowiadal rzeczy po angielsku których poslkim przewodnik nie powiedzial. Goraco polecam

Super toffe dag. Vooral door onze gids stavros die op zijn eigen toffe ontspannende manier zoveel verteld heeft over Kreta en de natuur. Heel toffe mens. Super toffe uitstap met lekker lokaal eten. Het strand was te druk. Je blijft beter aan het strand van de taverne. Stadje ook tof.

Unser Guide Nicos hat uns mit seinen Erklärungen einen sehr schönen Tag bereitet. Auch das Essen in der Taverne war Prima. Nur, wir hatten laut Tui Flyer ein 4x4 Offroad Abenteuer gebucht. Offroad waren vielleicht 15 Minuten mehr nicht. Und auch die geforderten 99,-€ p.P. sind trotz Nikos und dem Essen ein stolzer Preis.

Alt var godt, suveræn tur, mega god guide Leo der også var en fantastisk fortæller. Fed tur og dejlige oplevelser med at se gribbe, smage olivenolie og kiwi marmelade, de og dufte til krydderurter fra det fri samt bade. Den inkluderende frokost var fantastisk. Vi sad 8 i jeepen. Meget bumpet “veje” der fik os alle til at grine da vi hoppede i sæderne. Gå ikke glip af turen.

We hadden een super leuke vrolijke gids Stavros. Hij sprak Nederlands . Hij wist ons onderweg heel veel te vertellen over de mythologie van Kreta. Het was zeer boeiend . Niets was teveel en hij nam alle tijd voor de groep. Het was top!

Tolle Guides die mit viel Humor und Witz interessante Einblicke zur Insel und zum Leben auf der Insel geben konnten. Ein toller Tag mit einem sehr guten Essen in einer Taverne. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Abholung, Zeitmanagement, Platz im Auto, alles sehr gut organisiert. Top!

Enjoyed getting to drive around & see the more traditional side of Crete. How locals used the land to make a living from olives, fruit, goats cheese etc. Was nice to have a mix of guide info, beach, cafe. & shops. The only thing I would say about s that we don’t get vultures back home & seeing them in Crete was new for us so maybe some info on them

Leuke uitstap, zeer veel gezien met extra uitleg van een zeer ervaren vriendelijke en nederlandstalige gids! (Stavros) Aanrader voor iedereen die Kreta beter wil leren kennen. Waar andere jeeps voorbij raceten nam Stavros de tijd om ons extra uitleg te geven over de lokale gewoontes. Zeker een aanrader!

We hebben een fantastische dag gehad met de gids. Super voordeel is dat de gids Nederlands sprak. In je eigen moedertaal is het veel toegankelijker om eens een vraag te stellen. Geen minpunten en de lunch was heerlijk! De tussenstops waren ook heel aangenaam. Een mooie omgeving. Aanrader aan andere reizigers.

Ich fande es super viel über die Insel zu erfahren. Die Guides haben immer für tolle Fotos gesorgt und sich super gekümmert. Am ende nach dem Mittagessen hat sich die Tour jedoch etwas in die länge gezogen und der rückweg war anstrengend. Würde die tour jedem weiterempfehlen

Das war ein tolles Erlebnis! Absolut empfehlenswert. Unser Fahrer war ein Grieche, der perfekt Deutsch konnte. Dementsprechend hat er uns gut unterhalten und wir haben viel über Kreta erfahren. Die Landschaft ist sehr vielfältig und abwechslungsreich, man sieht Schafe, Ziegen und Gänsegeier. Während der Fahrt fühlt man sich immer sicher, auch wenn der Jeep über kleinste Straßen fährt, die ein PKW nicht mehr meistern kann.

Our guide Andreas was amazing! He made the trip memorable, made everyone feel special, gave equal time to each party within the group, and showed us the real "Crete" with lots of history, cultural, natural history, as well as personal insights. Our only issue was with 8 adults booked on the trip, the four adults in the back of the Land Rover were extremely cramped, particularly with each adult having baggage. The frequent stops helped, however, it may be worth considering limited to six adults.

Ich fand es einen super Ausflug. Der Guide war toll. Es war sehr eindrucksvoll zu sehen, erleben wie es ist in Kreta ausserhalb vom tourismus ist , wie die Einheimischen Leben. Würde ich wieder machen und empfehle ich jedem Urlauber wo nach Kreta geht ??

Es ist ziemlich unbequem die ganze Zeit im hinteren engen Bereich eines alten Landrovers sitzen zu müssen. Andere Gruppen hatten neuere Fahrzeuge, die zwar "nur" 2 Plätze im hinteren Bereich haben, aber dies ist für den Komfort um einiges besser. Die Fahrzeugflotte sollte des Dienstleisters sollte nur solche Fahrzeuge haben.

Excellent trip across the mountains to the beach with a few stops along the way, our guide Costa (Konstantinos) was very knowledgeable, and had lots of information on the area and flora and fauna. The coastal path to the palm beach is quite steep, but there is a beach by the carpark if you don't want to make the hike. Lunch was very good, and more than enough food for all of us. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Der Guide Christos war absolut genial, tolle Erklärungen, sehr motiviert und super sicherer Autofahrer, egal in welchem Gelände. Die 8-köpfige Gruppe hat einen wunderschönen Urlaubstag verbracht, viel Spaß gehabt und viel Neues erfahren, woran Christos einen riesengroßen Anteil hatte.

Wir haben uns entschieden, die Tour mit dem auch angebotenen Minivan zu buchen (anstatt dem Jeep). wir waren froh, hatten wir doch ein bisschen mehr Platz und Aircondition. ohne lange Anfahrtszeit war die Tour abwechslungsreich, das Essen sehr lecker.. inklusive Wein.. und der Tourguide (Nikos?) war amüsant, witzig und hat uns bestens über vieles informiert.

Es war alles sehr gut organisiert, fühlten und zu jeder Zeit sicher und haben viele schöne Eindrücke bekommen. Die Strandzeit im Süden der Insel hätten wir allerdings nicht gebraucht und demnach war die Pause auch etwas lang Ansonsten waren wir aber mit allem sehr zufrieden.

Guide war super. Die Ausflugsziele war die Reise nicht wert. Auch die angekündigten Gänsegeier wurden lediglich kurz in der Luft gezeigt. Nach der Werbeveranstaltung musste man davon ausgehen, diese hautnah zu erleben. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend, vorfallen bei dem überteuerten Preis. Das war die erste und letzte Reise mit TUI!

De natuur en omgeving zien van het eiland en de gids die vanalles weet te vertellen over het eiland. Alleen het eten, het vlees durfde bijna niemand te eten i.v.m het warme weer. De rest van het eten was goed. De 4x4 Vito is eem uitkomst voor mensen met rugklachten, maar ook voor iets corpulente mensen

Die Tour war klasse! Wir haben ein wildes, ursprüngliches Kreta erlebt mit Guides, die Spaß an ihrer Arbeit zu haben scheinen. Der Strand von Preveli war eines unserer Highlights in diesem Urlaub. Gerne wieder!

Der Ausflug war genau so wie vorgestellt. Der Guide war sehr aufmerksam, informativ und konnte sämtliche Fragen beantworten. Das Mittagessen während des Ausflugs sehr umfangreich, landestypische und sehr lecker.

Toll das der Fahrer so gut Deutsch konnte. Die Haltestopps waren gut ausgesucht. Super wäre es unterwegs ein Wasser zu bekommen. Insgesamt ein wunderbares Erlebnis.

Leftaris ist ein toller Guide!!! Er hat uns sehr viele Infos über Land und Leute gegeben und uns sicher im Landrover von Ziel zu Ziel gefahren. Er spricht sehr gut deutsch. Auch die Verkostung von Olivenöl und Honig war toll sowie auch das leckere Mittagessen. Toller Tag mit ganz vielen Infos und wunderschönen Ausblicken.

Die Guides (Nikos und Andreas ) waren authentisch und einfach top. Nikos, gebürtig aus Heraklion, studierter Deutschdolmetscher mit enormen Fachwissen. Der Mercedes Vito mit Automatikgetriebe bot maximalen Fahrkomfort.
