Pamukkale est l'une des merveilles naturelles les plus extraordinaires de Turquie.
La grande attraction est une vaste falaise blanche avec des bassins d'eau en forme de coquille Saint-Jacques et des cascades gelées. On dirait qu'il est fait de neige, de nuages ou de boules de coton. Les ruines de Hiérapolis sont l'autre attraction principale. La ville a été fondée en 190 avant JC par Eumène II, roi de Pergame. Enfin, vous pourrez nager dans la piscine sacrée (piscine sacrée de Cléopâtre) où se trouvent les ruines du temple d'Apollon. Cette piscine est riche en calcium et on dit que Cléopâtre a perdu sa beauté grâce à elle.
