Mit dem Club MoBay VIP Service kamen wir sehr schnell durch die Passkontrolle bei der Einreise nach Jamaika. Da es für uns das erste Mal nach Jamaika ging und es für uns unbekannt war, hat sich dieser Service definitiv gelohnt.

Hat sich gelohnt, weil die Condor 3 Stunden Verspätung hatte. Ansonsten ist die Zeit wahrscheinlich zu kurz, da sich im Abflugbereich doch noch einige Sachen entdecken lassen. Die Lounge liegt im Keller, 60er Jahre Charme. Ansagen über Abflüge werden jedoch gehört. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Das Speisenangebot ist spärlich, die Löffel etc zur Speisenentnahme schon sehr verschmutzt. Leider keine Getränkekarte. Möglichkeit zum Duschen vorhanden.

Chaos beim Check-In im Hafenterminal Motego Bay für den Rückflug, dauerte bis zu 2 Stunden. Rückflug um fast 2 Stunden verspätet abgeflogen, aber leider keinerlei Informationen über eine Verspätung am Flughafen Montego Bay, man stand fast 1,5 Stunden am Gate rum.

Die Lage und der Strand sind toll. Das Hotel ist schön, die Zimmer toll und alles sehr sauber. Aber das Essen ist maximal 3 Sterne Niveau. Außer an den Tagen an denen man eine Zufriedenheitsabfrage bei den Gästen macht, dann gibt es eine ganz andere Qualität des Essens. Die Themenrestaurants, bei denen man keinen Tisch reservieren kann/muss, aber man keinen Platz bekommt, wenn man sich nicht um 18 Uhr in eine Schlange einreiht um dann an der Tür gesagt zu bekommen, das Restaurant ist voll und man bekommt einen Pager, Sorry das geht überhaupt nicht. Bei der Motivation der Service-Kräfte ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Als sehr positiv ist hier Julian als Gästebetreuer von RIU zu nennen, der sich um alles kümmert und dessen Aussagen auch zutreffen.
