This was not a Tui tour so we had to make our own way to Buda Castle. The tour guide went over the specified time so we had to leave before she finished to ensure that we could get a taxi back to the ship for sailing. This added a lot of expense to the tour.The tour guide was knowledgeable however kept on talking throughout the tour about other possible events places of interest and the cost which wasn't what I wanted to hear from the tour.

Compared to all the other walking tours during this week (3 others) this was by far the worst. The guide, although a perfectly lovely person, was not enthusiastic or engaging. There were long periods when we just followed her with no information being shared. Typically on walking tours the guide will constantly be relaying facts and anecdotes, both while standing and walking.

Visited a very interesting area, high up on the “Buda” side of Budapest with magnificent views. Got a cab there as it’s a long climb up and then a two hour walking tour all outside the castle area ( which was in fact a Palace.) Excellent tour guide too.

La visita al parlamento è stata bellissima le audio guide funzionano benissimo nota dolente e per chi arriva non c’è segnaletica di dove entrare non è indicato nulla bisogna chiedere alle guardie il che non è simpatico e pochi cestini per immondizia anche se se è tutto molto pulito e in ordine

Our guide was excellent, the tour was well paced and she was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Group was not too big and there was plenty of opportunity to take photographs and ask questions.

Not quite what we were expecting. Guide excellent but castle not really a castle and only saw things from the outside. Meeting point a long way from ship. Tui need to be clearer about this when advertising shore excursions that are undertaken by other companies. There were a few problems experienced by other passengers on our ship due to this.

We did this tour on a very hot day after having walked around Buda before hand. The tour covered most of the outside areas at the top of the castle hill but no areas inside either the church or castle (now an art gallery). It was very informative but seemed very long for what we were looking at (only the outside of buildings) especially with already sore feet.

Our tour guide was excellent, unfortunately the Chinese dictator was visiting so much of the area including Fisherman’s Bastion was closed off. Nothing she could do about it. She personally walked us partway down the hill so we could find transportation. Much appreciated.

Good value . Well informed guide. Travel to the venue ..Walk (long) ....Tram and bus.......Taxi...Taxi expensive for the journey back. Lots of reconstruction work going on. The 'Old ' places you see are not as old as they seem (Neo Gothic) or reconstructed. Nice views.

A very knowlegable guide took us round the castle and city by coach and on foot. She really brought home both the beautiful architecture and history of the city and country under it's various rulers and occupiers and opened our eyes to the privations which Hungary suffered under the Russians.
