Nog voor beide activiteiten te betalen, wat je betaald hebt is enkel de busrit. Filerimos Hill is echt niet de moeite om te bezoeken, kost bovendien 10euro/pers als entree. De vlindervallei is wel een mooi stukje natuur te midden het droge eiland Rhodos, maar er zit slechts 1 soort vlinder, dus na 100 meter heb je het ook gezien…

Also, ein rundum schöner Ausflug vor ein paar Tagen der sich absolut! Lohnt ( ich, 30 & meine Ma, 63) haben den gebucht weil ich gern ins Butterfly Valley wollte (vorab bitte informieren, es handelt sich nicht um die direkt klar auffallenden Schmetterlinge wie wir sie gewohnt sind , man muss ein gutes Auge haben dann sieht man viele ). Das Butterfly Valley ist echt schön die Anlage ABER man muss gut zu Fuß sein ! & Eine Strecke ist mehr als 1km! Taverne oben etwas überteuert aber hübsch.

Paid out nearly €50 euros in total to get to the butterfly valley after nearly an hour on the coach only to be told after paying to get in that there was no butterflies for another two weeks. At no point where we told this, in fact the tui rep even said there would be plenty of butterflies there at this time. Felt like a bit of a waste of money and a wasted trip when if we knew this beforehand we could have used our time and money on something more worthwhile, felt like a bit of a scam.

De chauffeur was stipt op tijd, het was leuk om te zien en te wandelen. Maar er waren geen vlinders. Als je op google kijkt is te lezen dat de vlinders er alleen in de zomermaanden zijn. Deze info staat niet bij de excursie zelf. Om teleurstellingen te voorkomen is het handig als dit toch vermeld wordt.

Transport and driver was spot on really lovely man. We loved where we went however it would of been good to know the church was closed at FILERIMOS hill which meant no toilets and there was no butterfly’s in the butterfly garden due to the time of year

Sehr netter Fahrer mit deutschen Hintergrund. Die Gegend auf dem Hügel mit den Kloster ist sehr schön anzuschauen. Auch das Schmetterlingstal ist schön. Man sollte aber gut zu Fuss sein. Viele Stufen aber auch Rast Möglichkeiten. Wir waren leider am Ende der Schnetterlingssaison und konnte nur ein paar erblicken. Trotzdem ein Erlebnis.

Filerimos Hill is a fabulous, must visit, little spot. Butterfly Valley is Matlock Bath with Jersey Tiger moths (no butterflies); loads of them admittedly. But.. 2 hour bus ride from pick up to Filerimos, 1 hour at Filerimos (nowhere near long enough), an hour drive to Butterfly Valley where you stay for 1½ hours, then 2 hour ride back to hotel (we were first pick up and last drop off), really killed the excursion for us. In conclusion, worth doing but check timings first if possible.

This tour gives nice insights into the natural beauty of the island. I booked it mainly to see the butterflies, but Filerimos Hill with the peacocks was nice as well. There is only one or two species of butterflies (actually moths) in the valley and they can be seen only during June and August. But I saw millions, which was magical. I believe it could be better highlighted that this is quite a hike uphill, but also that one does not have to go up to the top to enjoy the butterflies.

Mukavan pituinen retki. Taitava kuski, joka ilmoitti asiat selkeästi. Filerimos Hill oli upea, Butterflies Valley jotain vielä enemmän. Henkeäsalpaava. Ei sovi huonojalkaisille. Paljon kävelyä vaativassa maastossa. Suosittelen.

Driver and transport good. Monastery visit nice and interesting, could have been longer to visit the range of things of interest. Butterfly Valley is over sold and not made clear in the sales how the site is laid out. Should there be a link to more detailed information?

1 hour at Filerimos Hills was too short, with the monastery and the grounds this should be doubled to allow enough time to visit. The journey was easy, the coach perfect and the driver very friendly.

Butterflies was busy, understandable, but to get to the top in the heat only to find cold drinks only available, no food, was disappointing. It left us no time to get food more than ice cream at the mid point where our bus was. At Filerimos to have to pay the entrance to the Church just to use the toilet was also a bit annoying.

We hadden een hele correcte buschauffeur. Hij communiceerde duidelijk hoe lang we stopten en waar we weer moesten verzamelen. Daarbij hield hij zich keurig aan de verkeersregels, was niet met zijn telefoon bezig en controleerde nauwkeurig of iedereen in de bus zat.

Pick-up time was as advertised, however all the pick-up locations appeared to be described as being on the opposite side of the road. Driver was friendly and minibus was comfortable. Kariba called us to inform us that the date of trip had changed because butterfly valley was not yet open but the TUI app didn't appear to have been updated. As the valley had only just opened for the season most facilities were closed except a toilet near the entrance. Very few butterflies but lovely countryside

We payed 27€ per person and I think it’s a correct price for what you get. We didn’t have a guide, so you pay for transport. We enjoyed the trip and we think you don’t need a guide for the butterfly valley. Overall it was a fun activity to do and we were back at the hotel around 2 PM. They picked us up around 9.30 AM outside the reception at our hotel.

Detta var en två-stopps resa. Första stoppet var vid ett gammalt kloster/kyrka vilket inte stod i beskrivningen men det var över förväntan. Mycket fint och värt 6 eur i inträde. Butterfly valley var också häftigt men varmt. Observera att denna upplevelse endast är transfer och inga inträden.

Twee hele leuke plekken om naartoe te gaan. Netjes opgehaald op het aangegeven punt. Chauffeur vertelde wat over de gebieden waar we waren en gaf duidelijk aan hoe lang we hadden. Fijne bus voor transport.
