Cu Chi Tunnels & Vietnam Countryside Tour

With this double dose of adventure, you'll get to grips with the nation's wartime past and see how the locals live in the stunning scenery of the countryside. First up are the Cu Chi war tunnels, once used by the Vietcong. Digging deep into the past, you'll descend into a labyrinth of concealed trapdoors, living areas, weapon factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens, some several storeys below the surface. After lunch, we head into the countryside. Unlike the busy cities, the way of life here remains almost untouched by time. You'll drop by an organic herb garden, a cricket farm and a rice paper workshop in a local home.
