What to expect

You will begin the tour by visiting Broby bro, one of Sweden’s most famous Viking burial grounds, where you will learn about Viking burials, both pagan and Christan. Hear what the runestones of this site can tell you and learn more about Estrid, a mighty Viking woman. After this you will move on to Jarlabanki's bridge, an old partly reconstructed Viking bridge. Be told about Vikings lord, their power, bridges and road buildings, learn more about the mighty Jarlabanke kin group and their influence. After, you will head on to the Arkil Assembly site, a Viking Parliament. Hear about Viking laws, the society of the Vikings and how decisions where made in the society and how disputes were settled.
End the tour by going to the beautiful wooden town of Sigtuna, also the oldest town in Sweden. Walk among the medieval church ruins, possibility to visit the museum and walk along the big street who still have the same stretching as in the Viking age.
