Leaving the port behind, you'll begin with a cable car ride from Funchal to nearby Monte. Make sure you've got your camera ready because once you reach the top, on a clear day, the panoramic views are superb. From here, you'll take a slow-paced 10 minute walk to re-join the bus to discover some of the island's best viewpoints. The scenic drive will lead you to Pico da Torre – from here you can admire the 360° panoramic views of Câmara de Lobos. Then, it's time to head to the next show-stopper of the day, perched 1,165 feet above sea level, Pico dos Barcelos is naturally beautiful. Take in the stunning, sweeping views of the bay of Funchal before making the return journey back to the ship.
