What to expect
Join a guided tour with transfer from and back to Hanoi to discover the mystical, watery beauty of Tam Coc, also known as “The Three Caves” region.
After meeting with your English-speaking guide and driver, you'll leave from the capital and move in the direction of Ninh Binh. Approximately 110 km later, it will be time to exchange the car seat for a more aquatic-based touring, continuing the exploration of Tam Coc on a sampan. Enjoy the beauty of imposing limestone structures lying amid rice fields as you move along the Ngo Dong River and through the caves.
After having lunch at a local restaurant, you'll visit the ancient capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu, where the impressive temples of the Vietnamese royal dynasties of Dinh and Le will be waiting to be explored. The three-level Bich Dong pagoda built in the 15th century will offer you some fascinating views, as well as the temples of Dinh Tien Hoang and Dai Hanh.
