What to expect
Discover the archeological site of Ingapirca, located 80km north of Cuenca. You'll admire each of the buildings built by the Cañaris and Incas, mainly the fascinating Temple of the Sun, an elliptically shaped building that served to perform ceremonies and rituals for the Cañari-Inca culture.
Next to the ruins, you'll find the museum of Ingapirca, where more than 150 pieces found in the area can be seen, such as ceramics, textiles, jewelry and more.
After a day of learning and mystical Andean landscapes, you'll return to Cuenca.
