What to expect
This is the perfect tour that will allow you to discover the beautifully famous Irish countryside if you are short for time. From Dublin, you'll travel in comfort and visit the Wicklow Mountains! This region is also called the 'Garden of Ireland' because of the many wildflowers that can be found here and that constantly change colour.
You'll visit St. Kevin's Monastery in Glendalough National Park, where you'll learn the story of its legends, crosses, churches and circular towers. There, you'll also be able to walk to the two stunning glacial lakes, which have been used for the settings of many films.
The next stop will be at the Powerscourt Estate with its neoclassical villa, where you'll have time to stroll through its Italian gardens and discover its pet cemetery, Rapunzel tower, winged horses and miniature Japanese garden.
When you've finished taking in the peace and quiet of this area, you can go for some lunch (optional) at Johnnie Fox's pub. This is probably the most hidden and curious pub in Ireland. You'll have the opportunity to try the traditional Irish Stew sitting by the peat-fed fireplace.
