What to expect
The first stop on your food tour will be the Casa del Dulce de Leche. You'll enjoy a guided tour of this historic specialist shop, learning how they make their delicious star product, the creamy caramel-like treat called 'dulce de leche'. And of course, you'll get to taste different varieties too.
With a sweet taste in your mouth, you'll head to the Mercado de San Telmo. Since its opening in 1897, this food market has played an essential role in the Buenos Aires food scene. You'll soon discover why as you see the different stalls selling meat, fish, fresh fruits and vegetables; the finest quality ingredients that form the base of the most popular dishes in Argentinian cuisine.
Ready for a drink? The next stop will be at the Tierra Mendocina winery, where you'll spend 55 minutes enjoying a wine tasting of two different Argentinian wines: a red Malbec and a white Torrontes. The delicious wines will be accompanied by a local cheese board. Cheers!
From the winery, you'll make your way to the Revire Brasas Bravas restaurant for the finishing touch on your Buenos Aires culinary experience. Indulge in a traditional Argentinian dinner of three mouth-watering courses plus a drink.
At the end of your delicious dinner, which will last around an hour, you'll be taken back to your hotel for around 10.00 pm.
