Discover Bali's Mount Batur volcano by trekking up to its peak, having breakfast at the summit, watching the sunrise, looking out for monkeys near the crater, Balinese coffee, and herbal teas made in a traditional way on this full-day tour.
Starting from your accommodation in south Bali, you'll meet your driver and make your way to Mount Batur Volcano. Then, from Toya Bungkah village, you'll enjoy a 2-hour hike, including several stops, upwards experiencing, how the mountain stands with an altitude of 1,717 meters above sea level. Learn how this volcano is known to be one of the most sacred mountains in Bali.
Next, once you have reached the top, marvel as you sit on a chair overlooking the village rooftops, sipping a hot drink, eating a banana sandwich and hard-boiled egg that's cooked in the volcanic steam. After breakfast and taking several photos, admire the rim of the crater and see if you can spot monkeys below. Then, it's time to relax as you visit a traditional Bali coffee processing plant to witness how Balinese coffee is made. Gaze out at the tropical plantations, and sample some of the local herbal tea, which is described by many as the best in the world, to complete your experience.
