You will travel onboard an air-conditioned coach from Verona with a professional tour guide, and a private motorboat along the Giudecca Canal will take you to St Mark’s square!A guided walk will allow you to see the most beautiful corners and the most famous attractions of this magical city, such as the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs.You will then have some free time at your disposal to explore the city on your own, enter St Mark’s Cathedral or the Bell Tower, take a romantic gondola ride or try the original Spritz, before meeting again with the guide and return to the coach by private motorboat.

The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. It would have been good to know the cost of the extras in advance and that they could only be paid in cash. The schedule was jam packed so not much time for leisurely exploring Venice if you chose to take part in more than one of the extras.

Venice is a unique city and is certainly worth visiting once. However it was very crowded, even on a Thursday in June, and there are very few (free) places to sit down. However, the trip was interesting and well organised.
