What to expect

Get a chance to capture the mystique and grandeur of Dubai’s desert landscape. This tour is ideal for thrill-seekers who are on a short layover or visit to Dubai. Choose from multiple time slots, suitable for getting a quick and comprehensive overview of the desert surroundings.You will be picked up from your hotel ready to embark on a journey to the Lahbab; the most remote desert place in Dubai. Feel free to ask questions to your expert guide about the history and culture of Dubai, its cuisine, and important monuments. On arrival at Lahbab, take a short break to enjoy camel rides or pose pictures with them while your guide deflates the tires for dune bashing. Once the vehicle is ready, experience the adrenaline rush as you slip and slide from one dune to another. The dune bashing will culminate at one of the highest dune points in the desert. Here you can take in the panoramic vistas of the desert landscape and marvel the sleek red color of the dunes. You can also try out the popular sport of sandboarding; this activity is suitable for all guests as there is no prior training or experience required. After the picture stop is over, you will head back to your accommodation.

Due to the nature of this activity, this activity is not recommended for passengers under 6 years or over 65 years, expectant mothers and guests with pre-existing medical conditions

You can choose between two options: Tour, which is a shared tour with other guests and Private tour, which is a maximum of 6 participants per jeep

Pick-up time will be within 45 minutes before the start time of the tour

Pick-up is available from any hotel or location in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Port Rashid (cruise terminal)

Please note that for pick-ups from Dubai Investment Park, Jebel Ali, Sharjah, Bab l Shams, Ajman there is a supplement to pay on spot of 400 AED per booking for the transfers and will be upgraded from shared to a private vehicle for both pickup/drop off

Toffe ervaring. Wel had de informatie vooraf wat duidelijker mogen zijn. Bijv. dat het eerst een uur rijden is naar de woestijn in Sharjah (en dus ook weer een uur terug). Eenmaal daar gingen we eerst kameel rijden (stelt niet veel voor, een klein rondje, maar leuk voor de foto). En als je wou, kon je ter plekke nog bijbetalen voor een halfuurtje quadrijden. Het dune bashen daarna was best heftig, maar niet té. Het is alleen niet aan te raden als je snel wagenziek wordt.

This excursion was by far the best we did during our time in Dubai. The guide was excellent and we had so much fun in the dunes. If you're debating booking this excursion, just do it! You won't regret it.

The driver Najeeb made the trip special he was friendly and helpful the ride in the dunes seemed frightening but he was such a good driver I felt safe all the locals for example the man who led the camel where also friendly and helpful there was nothing about the experience I didn’t enjoy it was so good to see the contrast between the culture and glamour of dubai and the beauty and vastness of the desert it was definitely the highlight of my holiday it was just a really relaxing experience *****

Tour war soweit in Ordnung! Zu kurzfristige Mitteilung der veränderten Abholzeit durch den Guide! Achtung beim Zwischenstopp bei den Kamelen wird man direkt in einen Shop geleitet wo man Kopftuch und Gewand angekleidet bekommt (man denkt das gehört zur Tour), aber plötzlich soll man aber dafür viel Geld bezahlen ohne vorherige Info des Guides! Kamelritt nur 2 Min.!!! Sandboarding ganz nett!! Das beste war die Tour mit dem 4×4 Jeep durch die Dünen!!

Erg gehaast allemaal, terwijl we veel zaten te wachten moest alles snel, voelde dwingend. We hadden geboekt voor een auto en sandboarden. Ter plekke kon je, tegen betaling, nog op kameel zitten en squad rijden. Sandboarden met 1 goed board voor veel mensen. Gids deed zijn best maar door de gehaastheid kwam de hand van mijn zoon tussen de stoel. Vanuit de stad ben je minimaal een uur kwijt om in woestijn aan te komen. Tijdstip met zonsondergang is prachtig maar het was veel te druk.

Chauffeur vertelde niets, was ontzettend chagrijnig, reed als een malloot, had geen leuke traditionele kleding aan zoals de andere chauffeurs. Hielp niet met foto's maken. Viel ontzettend tegen. De plek in de woestijn was ontzettend toeristisch kamelenrondje was maar 2 minuten, quad rijden was op een parcours en niet in de open woestijn. Het rijden in de woestijn opzich en het maken van foto's maken was wel leuk. Helaas kregen we ook nog een lekke band. Al met al geen waar voor je geld.

Had an absolutely amazing time on this trip. The views are beautiful & the sand boarding was so much fun. The sand bashing had to be the best bit though, great fun. A must for a first time trip to dubai! A massive shout out to Ikhlaq for the service, from start to finish he was great & accommodating. 10/10 would recommend

Das Dünenbashing und Sandboarden hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Unser Guide Ali war super nett und lustig drauf. Er hat fantastische Fotos beim Sonnenuntergang in der Wüste von uns gemacht. Allerdings sollte man das Kamelreiten, was wir nicht mitgemacht haben, unserer Meinung nach aus dem Programm streichen. Die Armen Tiere da den ganzen Tag Touristen durch die Gegend tragen zu sehen ist nicht so unser Geschmack. Ansonsten hat sich der Ausflug aber sehr gelohnt und ist nur zu Empfehlen.

Wir haben den 4-stündigen Ausflug in einer kleinen Gruppe von 6 Personen sehr genossen. Kamelreiten, Dünen surfen im SUV und Sandboarding war für uns völlig ausreichend. Mit Rashid hatten wir einen tollen Guide , der uns sehr sicher durch die Dünen gesurft hat. Rund um gelungener Ausflug.

Der Abschnitt bei dem in der Wüste gefahren wird ist sehr kurz. Die Pause zum Fotos machen abgezogen, kamen wir bestenfalls auf 30 Minuten Wüstenfahrt. Bei dieser hatte sich unser Fahrer auch noch zwei Mal fest gefahren und wir mussten warten bis ein anderes Fahrzeug kam um uns frei zu schleppen.

Stayed at Rui Dubai. For 11days loved it, Relaxing in the sun while the excursions were fantastic, staff were lovely food was lovely, My only gripe about the holiday is no rep at the hotel, only what’s app! Which they hardly ever answered, other reps were visiting!
